At first I couldn't figure what Amanda was saying. But then the prophecy replayed in my mind.
"Ice and Fire work together! The line represents you and me, Blaze." She said. I wasn't expecting myself to be famous even two thousand years ago to be in the prophecy. "Ice represents you because your blade's name is Blizzard. It is also a symbol for healing because you can heal people and also fight fiercely." I guessed. She nodded in agreement and continued, "And Fire means you! Your name itself is enough for it, Blaze. But even Magnum represents fire as the blade fires up when unleashing its true potential."
I was awestricken by the Prophecy. We had successfully understood the first line. "This means that every DELTA must be included in the prophecy by something or the other." Amanda declared. She had a point and it was hard to walk with such excitement.
We were so involved in the prophecy that we didn't notice the two huge doors in front of us and I banged right into one. I had to stretch my head to look at the door. Had we finally reached the exit? If that was the case, I would happily break open the doors immediately.
"This may take some strength to open the doors." Amanda said and I got ready. I was about to push the doors when they opened by themselves. They opened slowly, allowing the light on the other side to blind our eyes. I had to cover my eyes for some time till I got adjusted.
When I looked, I saw the big room. The first thing I noticed was that a fifty feet tall dragon was present in the room. Colloseus looked royal and worth our time in the maze. The hide had brown and golden mix which looked attractive. Colloseus also had scary fangs and claws with two huge wings on either side. He not only looked strong but also had a nicer texture to his expression. I assumed Drakolleus was the fiercer one.
Beside the large dragon was my pal, Oliver. I did not expect to see him there, talking to the dragon. He looked serious as if shouting at Colloseus.
"Welcome!" Colloseus announced and Oliver turned back. He did not smile which made me worry of what was happening before we entered. "Ice and Fire work together! Welcome Blaze Hunt and Amanda Flames." He said. The dragon already knew all about the prophecy which was a surprise for me.
"I know why you all have come here for. I can sense Raptor meeting Drakolleus right now." He said. The dragon could sense his brother. "My brother has joined hands with their force. But as he is my brother, I would support him and join Raptor's side." Colloseus said. I became raged and was about to protest when he continued, "But you have set a difficult journey to reach here. Though Drakolleus and I work together, I am loyal to those who work hard."
He said, "I will help you fight Raptor and even stop King Jalaar. But for that you need to give me something." The dragon was looking at Oliver which I wasn't sure why. Then I looked at Amanda's shocked face. "The Blade's fate lies with the Thunder! Don't you get it Blaze? Oliver is Thunder." She announced which I couldn't believe. How did she get to that conclusion?
"Thunder is used to represent lightning. And Oliver is as fast as lightning during fights. He has a quick thinking ability which makes him the Thunder." Amanda concluded. She was right. Now I understood. Oliver was always a fast thinker. I remember his fights during the Warrior Battle Fest. He was so quick with his moves that the enemy couldn't even see him. He was like lightning.
Oliver didn't look surprised as if he already knew about this. "Before you guys entered, Colloseus filled me with this information." Oliver stated. I looked at Colloseus who was smiling. "Your friend here needs to lend me something." The dragon said. "Only then will I join your side in the war. I am not keen in fighting my own brother in this battle but if a person sacrifices a precious thing, I will surely help." He said.
He looked at Oliver and declared, "You need to give me the most precious thing in your life." Oliver looked nervous and I already knew what the stuff was. Colloseus too sensed it and said, "You love your weapon Tortunem more than anything. If you sacrifice the blade, I will surely join you in saving the world."
The Blade in the prophecy meant Oliver's sword Tortunem. It was Oliver decision now whether he wanted to keep his blade or get the fifty feet tall dragon on our side. I couldn't help him in making this choice. If this was a question laid to me, I would have chosen to keep Magnum with myself. I would have found out another way to stop Raptor. But I doubted there was another way.
Oliver was in a deep thought and for a minute none of us spoke. He sheathed his sword and looked at it like he was having a mental talk with Tortunem. Then with determined eyes, he looked up at Colloseus. He knelt down, keeping his eye contact with the dragon and with both his hands, raised his sword. "Take Tortunem. That is the only way." He announced. Colloseus smiled, impressed by his decision. I was totally astonished. The bond between Oliver and Tortunem was immense and I couldn't see Oliver giving away his sword helplessly.
I saw tears in his eyes and I knew he was trying hard not to break down. He tried to look strong and raised the sword towards the dragon. The sword immediately floated in the air and went towards Colloseus. Then the most heartbreaking scene was Tortunem's blade breaking on its own. Small dust particles of the sword fell on the ground, some of it even touching Oliver's hand.
Oliver was hiding his face, maybe because he had given away his own sword and had the dust of it on his hands now. "What you did today child, is a very difficult thing to do. Not many have the courage to do so. I shall surely help you." Colloseus stated. "Let's go back to the surface."
