I had to admit. Riding on a dragon's back was one of my greatest experiences.
After Colloseus told us to climb up on his back, we were taken for a good and exciting ride. There was a big hole in the roof of the room which I hadn't noticed yet. We flew out of the hole and into the Great Waterfall.
We emerged out from the top of the mountain where none had reached yet. It was not only a great achievement but also an awesome sight to watch a dragon come out in a royal fashion.
The dragon dropped us on the top and stood beside us. From the height we were at, I was sure that no one could see a dragon standing on the top. "You need to travel to Hydra Caves where Drakolleus lives. I am afraid he is not as friendly as I am and if your friends are there… you need to hurry before Drakolleus burns them to their deaths." Colloseus said. The way he addressed his brother, I was sure that this was going to be difficult.
Now that Drakolleus had joined hands with Raptor, he would not spare the other DELTAs. We needed to get them out of there and go to Mount Hysuptris before it was too late. We also needed to give it a try to bring Drakolleus on our side. The most important thing was to reach Mount Hysuptris before 21st November. We only had two days left now.
"It would have been my pleasure to travel you three to my brother's domain but I have some important work to do. I need to get prepared for war. Moreover, meeting my brother as a rival so quickly isn't good for me. But get this, whenever you need me I will be there for you guys." The dragon stated.
We nodded and the dragon flew back into his kingdom through the massive hole. Then Amanda said, "Well, one dragon is sort. But any idea about how we are going to get off of this mountain without breaking our bones?" She had a point. How were we supposed to get down from such a height without any help?
We walked around the peak of the mountain to check out if there was a way. Of course there wasn't. "Let's go down the water way again." Oliver suggested. That seemed to be the only way. Amanda nodded and we looked down at the ground which wasn't even visible from so high up. All we knew was that the water flow was going down beside us.
"All set?" I asked. But I knew none of us were ready for this. We were going to risk our lives once again. We jumped into the water flow and it took us down the mountain with a sudden jerk. My stomach wobbled due to such force. I wanted to scream but my voice wasn't even coming out. I went inside the water a few times in the air but tried to stay away from gulping the whole flow once again.
The fall lasted for about two minutes. I had calmed my mind, knowing that being peaceful is a better way to die than being freaked out. That led me to use the Zantai power. I could look around the ground. The black and white surroundings I was seeing showed me the safest point of the water flow.
Apparently, there was only one single point in the water flow on the ground where you couldn't die. We had to land directly there to survive from such a height. I guided my friends through the air. I did some stupid stunts in the air trying to progress a bit ahead.
I tried the swimming posture but nothing helped. Oliver and Amanda had grabbed my hands and for a moment, I felt good being in the air looking at the beautiful surrounding as we fell to our deaths. We somehow managed to progress. The safest landing part was right below us and we tried to increase speed by rotating our body upside down.
Xavier would have been great. He was so skilled he could have easily made a machine which would fly him to a safe place while he was in the air. Mark would also have been good to have with Quester, his grappling hook. Even Lily would have shouted at us, screaming orders of how to safely land on the ground. But neither of us spoke. If this was our last fall, it'd better be peaceful. Then we fell, directly into the point, splashing water up to six floors.
