I sighed as I sipped on my blood as I looked around at the room. I noted at least four points in which someone could enter and I do not know this castle so I was worried but with my shadow powers it made me less worried. I sat in between Logan and my mother with my Father on her other side.
"Dare I ask what the outside want's with us?" Queen Anastasia asked as she sat down.
"Want is a strong work." Mother said. "I came here needing to find my daughter. The others are here because the government thought it was time to see if you wanted to join us outside the walls you have been locked into for so long."
"Whose fault is that?" King Covar demanded glaring at her.
"Humans." Albert said. "But we have learned a lot in the last 3000 years so why don't you back off the glare at the Head of a witch coven and as you can not judge us on our ancestors if you don't want to be judged by yours." I grin behind my goblet.
"He is right James, if you were judged by your father's actions you would be dead." Queen Anastasia hissed at him. He said nothing to that.
"I must ask how did you know your daughter was here in the Vampire lands?" Queen Anastasia asked.
"It's simple but at the same time complicated." Mother said as she drank her tea. "All mother witches have a magic bond with their child and it will allow them to locate them. Now that bond can be blocked and that is what happened with Diana. About two months ago I felt the bond flare just enough to give me a very baurd area of where she was."
"The only reason we waited to come here to find her was the damn council." Norman huffed.
"And the only reason I listened to them was because still waiting at a full diplomatic Mission gave us more of a chance not to be turned away or killed." Mother agreed with him.
"Very true." Logan said. "It's also a good thing that I have a set of guards always watching the end just to make sure nothing suspicious goes on. And it was also a good thing I sent Diana to go check I would always go on."
"I do believe over half of the guards would have either left Jason & Herbert Wandering around the woods until they were eaten or would have chased them back to the end." I agreed with him. "I however looked at it in a different light. If they had been eaten by wild animals then there was a high possibility of more people coming back with weapons. I'm looking to not have a war. As for chasing them back to the end night was coming we all know what happens in that part of the forest when Night Comes. It's not safe even for most of the vampires unless you're trained."
"I mean that makes sense." Tacal said. "Their minds are more focused on guarding the population from the Here and Now dangers. For you it was more of a are they a danger now or are they going to be a danger later if something goes wrong."
I opened my mouth and then closed it. "There is one thing we didn't account for with beings moving in and out of the end." I said leaning back in my chair.
"What do you think about love?" Logan asked me.
"The rats. If they realize that it is safe to leave the outlands then they're going to have A lot of issues. Think about it: the hordes of rats that are out there leaving the end that would be very dangerous for the ecosystem outside of our own. The only reason the rats aren't a danger to our ecosystem is because we know how we have to keep them out of our cities."
"I didn't even think about the rats or the Bears or the snakes. If they get to an understanding that we can leave you correct it would be very dangerous for anyone on the outside." Logan agreed.
"I understand the Bears And from what I've seen I can understand the rats. But why do you worry about these snakes?" Norman asked me.
"Think of it this way I know you understand the concept of invasive species are rats and crows the crows that are here are the snakes predators. Outside of here is there Venom would be too strong for anything else to consume it. Hell the Bears don't even eat it and they will eat rats and crows or anything else they can get their claws on."
"Okay so how could we do this safely then?" Mother asked.
I sat there tapping my cup with my finger thinking about it. "I wonder We founded the word that would lead into the wall. I wonder if there's another door that would lead out once you're in it."
"I will send a message to Becca and see if she will go search the wall for another door because that is a very high possibility and if so may very well be the way to go until we can figure out how else to get around the wall to where it's not a danger for the outside." Father said as he created Raven from the Shadows.
"Well if we are working with the outside we may be able to bring down different sections of the wall as well and then close up the gate at the end." I offered.
"That is not a bad idea but like you said we would need a lot of help from the outside. We don't have the tools for cutting that sort of material yet." Nightshade said.
"I do not think that this is a smart idea. I don't think them being here is a smart idea I don't think dealing with them is a smart idea and I think you all are stupid for trying." The king said.
I was just about to say something when Anastasia reached over and slapped him upside the head and glared at him. "My darling I love you but we need fresh blood. I don't mean the blood that we drink, I mean the blood in the clan. The only way we'll get that is to deal with the outside world. So do me a favor, be quiet and keep all those nasty little thoughts to yourself." She said in the sweetest voice I think I've ever heard.
He rud the back of his head. He looked pissed but he did not say anything bad or get mad about it. And all I could do was think well that's one way to shut him up. A knock came to the door. "Yes, enter."
Prince Riley open the door leading in Queen Limia and King and Queen Sanguinoso. "Mother, Father, more guests are here."
"Greetings, greetings please come in." Anastasia said standing. The rest of us also stood up. "Queen Lima, King Sanguinoso and Queen Sanguinoso welcome welcome! Pleas everyone be seated." Everyone found a seat or seat down.
"Queen Anastasia has been far too long." Queen Lima said as she smiled at her.
"Indeed Queen Lauren, it has been so long."
"I hope your mate is treating you well?" She asked glaring at the king.
"He does treat me well even if I'm the only woman he treats well." She says.
"It almost sounds to me, dear niece, that I need to kick his ass again." She said with a grin.
"Oh I think someone else wants to help you with that." She said calmly.
"Really who?" She asked, smiling.
"Quinn Lauren may I introduce you to Lady Diana of the North now she's also the heir to the torant clan as well. She is the one who wants to help you with that."
"Greetings greetings are you Logan's mate to be?" She asked us.
"Yes, Queen Limia." Logan answered her.
"Splendid Splendid I know Amelia would be very happy for you." She said, smiling at him.
"Well I definitely hope so." He agreed with her. "Matthew has been complaining about the fact he hasn't been able to see you recently considering you are his godmother."
"Oh Matthew, how is the boy?" She asked.
"He is a man now, no longer a boy."
"I hope he has accepted her as part of the family." She said, eyeing my bracelet. I held up my arm showing off the charm that he had given me. "Good good it's about time our family heals fully. Nicodemus it is good to see you again. Your father was a dumbass." She said, grinning at him.
"And you my dear are still as blunt and dirty as ever." Father said to her.
She started laughing at that. "Oh please I am not going to hold my tongue when some idiot believes he knows better than me. I believe we can all be thankful that your father is not here with this meeting now. Who are outside guests?"
