I headed to the Reene's room. I need to get the elder to watch them today. I knocked on lady Reene's room. "Elder Reene?" I asked as I knocked on the door.
"My Lady?" She asked as she opened the door.
"I need you to come watch the little ones we have to replace the Keeper." I told her.
"Oh boy." She said leaving the room. "I will head that way you head to the forge."
I smiled at her as she closed the door. "Thank you." I said as we split up. I went to the family room and got a hold of the metal I would need.
"Are you heading to the forge?" Mother asked.
"Yes." I laughed and smiled at her.
"Alright just be safe." She tells me.
"Thanks Mother." I said as I headed out.
I hummed as I walked through the castle and left the castle heading to the forge. "Night's Blessings." I called out.
"Night's Blessing Lady Diana." One of them called out
"Hello everyone I am going to need to steal the coin station." I said.
"We have been expecting you." The assistant head of the forge Tony spoke up.
"Thank you Forger Tony." I nodded to him.
"I am just happy our King will finally be happy." He said as he led me to the station where I smiled at him.
"I will do my best." I smiled at him.
"I know you will, My Lady." He said as he bowed to me and I nodded to him.
"Alright." I said to myself and I started. I sighed and started the forging process. I tapped my thigh thinking normally the coins are made with the Crest of your family and that of the clan.
"I have Arcaria crest mold here for you." Forger Matten said.
"Thank you Forger." I said taking it from him then I stopped him from leaving. "In your opinion if someone is the heir of two clans should they do two coins or mix them?" He tilted his head as he looked at me.
"Are you talking about that fact your father is from the Torant clan?" He asked me.
I opened my mouth then closed it. "I forgot about that... "
"Can I ask what you're talking about then, My Lady?" He asked me. I sighed and took the necklace off of my neck and handed it to him.
"As you know we are hosting those from the outside. One of them who is the leader of a Witch clan is my mother and this is the crest for the family." I said and then he tilted his head.
"This might be out of touch but what if you did two coins for the northern Arcaria family and then one with the Torant and this crest. And if you will let me, I can make you a mold for this." He said.
"If you can do that without melting that, I would appreciate it because my birth Father made that for my mother." I told him.
He nods and bows. "It would be my pleasure, My Lady." He said. "And I will make sure nothing happens to your Mother's pendant."
"Thank you." I nodded to him.
"Of course, My Lady." He said as he turned and got to work as I kept working on getting the forge cleaned and lit and I started getting the coals I would need. I set the molds down so I can start working on getting everything set in with the gems. I stopped as I looked up at all that had the gems.
"What are you thinking about?" Master forger Tiffany asked me.
"Adding eyes to the Dragon in the coin." I told her.
"Okay what stone are you thinking about using?" She asked me. I opened my mouth then closed it and tilted my head.
"I am going to show you something and I want to match the eye on the coin to the eyes of it." I tell her and turn my back to her.
"Okay." She said as I pulled my shirt up. "Dear Death!" She gasped. "Where did you get this work done?"
"It's not a tattoo." I chuckled softly as she touched my back.
"The closest thing we have would be Lavender Fluorite with the purple and green mix." She said as I dropped my shirt.
"Do we have any?" I asked her.
"You're lucky I keep some in my office. I will bring you some." She said.
"Thank you ForgeMaster. What will I owe you for them?"
Her eyebrows shoot up. "Nothing, My Lady, You know as well as I do the coin making is not something you pay for it is covered under the taxes." She said.
"I know but I also know that those are rare." I said to her.
"True but you are my Queen, I would gladly eat the cost for you and my King." She tells me.
"I do not like that ForgeMaster." I told her and then tilted my head. "If you will not take payment then let me work the forge for a few hours then." I said softly.
She made a face then sighed. "Very well, My Lady." She bows and I smiled.
"Thank you." I said softly.
"Of course." She said.
I smiled and went back to my forge station and kept working as Forger Matten came back over to me. "My Lady." He said.
"Yes?" I asked as I looked up at him.
"Here you are." He said the two molds down. "I have put your necklace in the Forgemaster Tiffany's jewelry box at the front of the forge." He told me.
"Thank you Forger." I smiled at him as I took the one with the Torant clan and lightly dusted it with the silver powder like I did with the northern clan symbol. "If I could ask another favor from you." I said looking up at him.
"My Lady?" He asked.
"Once I finish this, can you make this a coin base? I would like to make my outing coins both my family crest. I can come back when it is ready, there is no rush."
"Of course, My Lady." He said as he bowed I pulled my head back into a bun.
I put the copper into one of the melding areas and the iron into the other. I hummed as I started working with my metals and stones.
"Thank you!" I said to the ForgeMaster as she set the stones in my hand.
"You're welcome." I kept humming as one of them started hammering. I kept stirring my metals as they malted. I grabbed a small filler so I could use the copper to fill in the dragon and the Arcaria's raven which had ruby eyes. Once they were part way cooled I filled the Northern and Torant clans molds with Iron then I pressed the Arcarian top coin into the Northern mold and used a knife to clean off the overflow and then did the same with the Torant and Dragon crest. I started cleaning up my work area while I waited for them to cool.
"My Lady." I looked up.
"Yes?" I asked the Forgemaster.
"I wanted to know about outsiders that are not human. I keep smelling something odd when the wind shifts right." She said to me.
"Does it have an animal undertone or elemental?" I asked her.
"Animal." She said.
"What you're smelling is our Werewolf guest. He does have an odd smell to him." I told her.
"A what?" She asked me.
"Werewolf the guy can turn into a wolf." I told her as I went to grab the copper out set but she put silver in my hand.
"You know that silver is meant for the lords and ladies." She said to me.
"I know." I tell her. "Copper is for Knights." I smile at her. "I like to think that I am a knight first then a Lady."
"You're also an adviser, silver would be best." She tells me.
"We have a silver one with a ring of copper in it." Tony said.
"I would like to use that then." I smiled at him.
"I can agree with that." Tiffany said.
"I will go get them." He said as he slipped out of the room.
"Let me guess that it was an accident when they were made." I said with a smile.
"Yea and I just don't know what to turn it into so we just put it back in case someone wanted it." She tells me.
"Here." Tony said putting the rings on my station.
"Thank you." I said as I popped the coins out while they were still warm so I could use the heat from them to help molt the holder to it. "There we go!" I said after I was done fitting the holder to the coin.
"This defenaly beautiful." Tiffany said, looking at the dragon coin.
"Thank you. I think it looks good too. Though I am going to be getting in your box so I can get my dragon crest necklace and my coin bracelet." I told her.
"That fine I would rather everyone put their crest in there so we don't have an issue." She tells me.
