I walked through the halls of the castle to where I have left everyone. Logan, Father, Maxwell, and the idiot were following me. "I would listen closely because while everyone else is going to be given some leeway on our ways you will not be because everyone saw what you did to Xavier so everyone's itching for a chance to have at you." I stopped as I turned and looked at him. "You great people by their title than their name. Most everyone here at the moment is either a Knight or a Guard with the excavations of two Messengers. The Guards have a black N sewn into their uniform. If you can not Identify their Title then stick to the Night's Blessing and wait for them to introduce themselves." I rolled my eyes. "Though I doubt many wills since you are a child abuser." I spat at him before turning and walking into the great hall. I was angry and this guy was an idiot. I opened the door to the meeting room and wanted to smack the idiot as my mother stood up.
"Are you kidding me Rayrach are you insane or just stupid?" She asked him.
"I would lean on the stupid side." Tacal muttered.
"I would have to agree with you." I said calmly.
"Well, at least she didn't let him die." Father said.
"I could have I honestly could have just left him there to die." I said with a shrug.
"You would not have." He snapped at me.
" Speak to my lady that way again and I will remove your penis from your pelvis." Logan snarls at him.
" I really would recommend watching your mouth." Mother speaks up. "It has taken everything I have to and not have them pressed charges on you and their way because I'm going to be pressing charges on you our way. I highly suggest you shut up, do not speak, and don't touch our son. Simply because we cannot guarantee your safe return if you lay a hand on him. "
"What do you mean." He asked her.
" I'm divorcing you and pressing charges of child abuse." Mother spits at him.
" You're doing what now?" You do realize.
"You do realize that I am Lady of the Dragon Clan. The only reason you have the title of Lord is that you married me. The council can go kiss my ass especially when my little boy's safety is on the line." Mother snarls at him. "The council can also be glad that they're not pressing charges on you because of what happened on their lands."
"There are things in this world that I personally cannot stand." I said looking at him. "Egotistical males she believes are above the law is one of them. I could have very easily just left you there with Matthew and told him that no, your life wasn't worth the risks to the clan to do what he wanted."
"Come now let us continue on with our discussion." Laura said trying to change the subject.
"How far have we gotten?" I asked moving to take Laura's place at the head of the table.
"We set up the age limit as you know. I've also been putting in details of what both see Northern Clan and messenger Alexander's Clan are like and your bigger customs."
"Why would anyone need to know their customs?" He asked.
"Because I'm sure people want to know what they're getting into before they get turned into vampires and have the ways we are pushed into their heads."
"Why would they."
"Stop just stop." Mother said.
"I." He started.
"What kind of watch your mouth is an understood?" Norman asked.
"Because really we don't want a war because of your dumbass I am perfectly fine with telling is the council that you killed yourself when you made one too many insults to a Vampire Queen." Mother said.
"I didn't think she was a queen." She snarled.
"My title as the first lady is the queen title." I explained to him.
"On top of that." Logan said putting his hand on my shoulder and giving a light squeeze. "She is my mate to be. This has even more Authority with the first lady title. And if you want to really get into it her title of lady Arcaria What is made her second-in-command if we had a first lady. So I would recommend you get your head out of your superiority complex and listen."
Thankfully he kept his mouth shut. "Well, we could always simply make small videos." Tacal offered.
"We could but we will speak more of this with the Kings and Queens." King Logan said.
"Very well." Tacal and Norman said.
"Tacal do you mind if we use you as a test subject?" Mother asked.
"Depends on what you want to test." He said looking up at her.
"A spell that will hide our heartbeats from the children." She said.
"Ahhh." He nods as he stands up. "I don't mind."
"Thank you." Both mother and I said.
"Not a problem." He said with a shrug. "I know that the cubs would go nuts if they had to be locked up for two weeks or longer." He said as Mother started speaking in a language that sounded familiar but I could not place it.
"I will lead you to the paiges and we will let some of the youngest ones out." I explained.
"Okay." He nods and Logan and Father walked towards the paiges area.
"My King?" Hector asked looking at Tacal.
"We are testing a spell." I said walking past him and I walked in.
"LADY DIANA!" Little Annie and Frank tackled my legs.
"Hey, guys." I said patting their heads after I caught my balance. "You two are just the Paiges I was looking for." I said with a smile.
"Oh, what is it?" Frank asked.
"If you will let go of me." I said with a laugh.
"Right." They said as they stepped back.
"Now we want to test a spell that will hind heartbeats so you two are going to be our testers." I explained.
"How are we testing it?" Annie asked.
"Come on out and meet the Werewolf." I said moving opening the door.
"Really?"
"Why do the babies get to test it?!?!" I hear someone yell.
"Because they have less control than you have." I said looking back at them and glared at Kane who spoke.
"They are the youngest members of the paiges that is why." I explained letting them out of the area.
"Annie, Frank!" Logan said kneeling down holding out his arms to them.
"Logan!" They squeak and run into his arms hugging him.
"How are you holding up?" He asked them.
"Kane was pulling on Annie's hair before Diana came in." Frank tells him.
"Of course he was." I groaned. "That boy is about to get a thrashing."
"Elder Rene already gave him a talking to." Annie spoke softly.
"It sounds to me like he's a regular bully." Tacal said sitting next to them making both of them look at him there eyes wide.
"You smell funny." Frank said and I try not to laugh as Annie shrieked and slapped him.
"Bad Franky you don't say that to a guest!" She said slapping his arm.
"It's okay some of your guards have agreed with you." Tacal laughed. "But do you know the only way I have found to make the bullies leave you alone?"
"You were bullied?" She asked him.
"When I was young I was tiny for an Alpha. People expected me to be as big and burly as I am now." He said. "Now I would only recommend this after he does something to you first. But he isn't going to leave you alone until you stand up for yourself and make him respect you." He tells her.
"He's a lot bigger than me though." She said softly.
"I know but…" Tacal was interrupted by someone yelling.
"ANNIE FRANK!" I hear and I turn on the old keeper.
"Keeper." I snapped as she flinched.
"Lady Arcaria! I apologize when Kane said they had left and I hurried as fast…" Logan growled which made her shut up.
"Why don't you two take Tacal here over to the classroom to finish your conversation." I tell them as I look at Tacal.
Logan let the twins go and Tacal picked them up and carried them off as he told Annie how to drop any male as I turned to her. "Did he tell you I removed them from the wing?" I demanded from her.
"No he did not." she said looking sour.
"Did he tell you that I was having them test out a spell to make it to where they would not be locked up in their wing for two weeks?" I asked her.
"No." She said as the sour note hit her voice.
"So you came out here screaming like a madwoman without all the information and you are obviously losing your eye site Keeper if you did not see that I was holding them!" Logan snarled at her.
She blushed brightly. "I am not losing my sight, my King." She said defensively.
"Then tell me why you think you have the right to scream at the children when I have them?" He growled his eyes lighting up as lightning arcked across his skin.
The female stammered as she licked her lips looking from him to me then to my father trying to see if either me or him would help her. "I do not." She spoke through clenched teeth.
"Correct you do not." He spat at her. "You may be the Keeper but you have no right to scream at the children if I find out that you have been screaming at them when it is not called for there will be some issues."
"Yes my king."
