"see you later" Lu yao yin winked at Zi yichen then majestically walked to the stage. when she mounted the pulpit nobody had noticed, it was only when she cleared her throat to the mic did they notice that someone was standing there.
"unbelievable! it can't be right?!"
"what's she doing up there?"
"she can't be the CEO right"
"How possible is this possible?"
Lu yao yin watched them murmur among themselves, none of them wanted to believe that Lu yao yin was the CEO, to them it was the most unbelievable thing they have ever thought about. logically it didn't even make sense as the company had been set up 10 years ago and she was barely 23 so when did she start the business when she was 12? how possible was that!
"Surprised? well you shouldn't be cause didn't you minds tell you that the CEO of Green jade mall was also the CEO of DxD?"
"well let me formally introduce myself, My name is Lu yao yin and I am the CEO of DxD corporation,there's is no need to talk too much, i won't go explaining how I built my company cause I did and that's all that matters, but if you still don't believe me then...you confront me and...I'll go over all the process with you. Im here tonight not only to present myself as the ceo but also to address our company's partners and competitors, DxD stand for Devils and Devas and it high time we work as our name. just as Devils we would be merciless to all competitors and traitors and flawlessly attain the top that we were made for, like gods we would rain profits and fame on all partners and collaborators never forgetting to be protective and proud of those under us..." she was dead serious as she spoke that every other image they once had of her was irrefutably erased and the status of her being a firm CEO was implanted in the deapest part of their minds, her words brought fear to some, hope to some and also awe to others.
" all I'm trying to say is that my return will bring a lot of changes to the company's modus operandi. it's the beginning of a new era for DxD corporation cause_ from now on...We are Reborn!"
"cheers to a new era and a new life!" she raised the glass of wine on her hand
"cheers!" they all replied together and raised their cups too.

Escorted by Si xunmi and a group of bodyguards she walked down from the pulpit to the new seat arranged for her. people came in numbers and in groups to meet her and introduce themselves and she herself walked up to a few who she knew where very influential.
"you're too busy that you have forgotten me" Lu yao yin was still talking to a few directors when someone whispered into her ear. she turned and saw Zi yichen standing behind her, he looked at her with a playful pout on his lips.
"now that you are a CEO you want to neglect"
Lu yao yin awkwardly excused herself from the directors then pulled him aside " what are you doing?"
"trying to gain your attention" He replied smugly
"well it worked so what do you want?"
"nothing only trying to speak with you, you've talked with virtually everybody in this room but didn't even try to speak to me, I'm kind of offended you know"
"you didn't seem like you had anything to talk to me about so why would I come meet you?" she asked him back disinterestedly,
"well we do, before now our companies have always been considered as rivals but I want to change that"
"our companies?" she knew he was a CEO but she couldn't which company he owned but partaining to what he just said there was only one company that could be called DxD rival and that company was the one and only G-x corporation
"you don't even know that I own G-x, that's so unfair"
"so you're national Dream husband?"
"yeah I'm I yours too?" he leaned down towards her face it was almost like he would kiss her, everybody peeping at them were shocked by their posture. the reporters in the room hurriedly took pictures nonstop, even though they were prohibited from asking question in the hall they were still allowed to take videos and pictures so how could they miss such a juice scene
Lu yao yin stepped back and created space between the two of them, "what are you doing?! there are reporters in the room!" oddly enough she wasn't even angry although she sounded angry
"trying to ease the tension among our companies, we are dressed like couples and are this close, don't you think it would work?" Zi yichen shrugged as he said this. He said it was for the company but he really wanted to be close to her for himself, just like Lu yao yin thought the matched dressing was really not a coincidence
Lu yao yin rolled her eyes and just ignored him, she was actually enticed by the idea of having a close partner such as G-x corporation. G-x held among 50% of the countries business economy and if she took them in as a partner, she wouldn't have to worry about not having enough influence to stop it...
"fine I agree"
"you agree? to take me as your dream husband?" He asked expectantly,
she rolled her eyes again but was interrupted before she could reply.
" what's going on here?"
Lui shenhui followed by Shi zeyi walked towards them, she had heard the last thing Zi yichen had said so her smile wasn't really friendly even Shi zeyi had a little frown in between his brows. Lui shenhui walled to Zi yichen and coquettishly moved to hook her hand to his only to be tactically avoided by him. Every body had seen Zi yichen little movement since all attention were on the four of them, even several camera facing that direction had picked it up.
Lu yao yin chuckled at Lui shenhui embarrassed face, she didn't feel sorry for her so she didn't try to hide her laughter.
"yichen are you still angry at me? I asked father to take excuse for me that I was able to show up at your place for family dinner cause I wasn't in The country but he had totally forgotten, can't you forgive me this time? mom and dad are also angry right? but I didn't really mean to be absent, it was a sudden journey"
Zi yichen had watched her say all that long speech but didn't even try to stop her, he knew she was trying to prove to everyone that she was familiar with him and that they were really close, the truth was that they had really met a few times as her father was his his fathers friend and she always accompanied her father to his family house but he didn't even know her name
"um...what's your name?" his question blew up like a bomb in everybody's mind.
He didn't even know her name!
so how on earth would he be angry with her for not attending when they weren't even close enough for him to know her name
"first of all I wasn't even in the country for the family dinner plus the family dinner didn't hold so you have nothing to be worried about" he continued talking despite how green Lui shenhui's face was with shame.
Lui shenhui couldn't stand the embarrassment so she turned and walk out, few of the reporters rush out too to interview her. Shi zeyi felt awkward standing with Lu yao yin and Zi yichen so he excused himself and also left.
The were going to continue their discussion but a figure slipped in between them.
"yao'er" if it wasn't Lu xunhe who else would it be
Lu yao yin wasn't surprised to see him cause although she hadn't sighted him before now, knowing Lu xunhe she knew he would find all means to attend this dinner night.
"what do you what?" Her voice was stern and her face cold
"yao'er_"
"Lu yao yin" she corrected him, listening to him call her yao'er only made her feel sick, she remembered how he treated her in the years back, never for once had he called her by name but now he was shamelessly calling her Yao'er las if they were close
"Lu yao yin I came to tell you how sorry I am" he didn't want to offend Lu yao yin so he just went with what she said.
"Yao_ Lu yao yin i really didn't mean what i did it was all Lu shenqi idea, i only went with it cause i had stupidly believed she was filial, who would have thought that that ungrateful child would push the whole blame on me"
Lu shenqi was really ungrateful so he felt he wasn't wrong to over exaggerate it a little bit.
"what does that have to do with me?" she asked him nonchalantly
