CHAPTER FIFTY-TWO
"You are one to talk about Honesty; you just came to me under the pretense that Nolani was running a fever. So, don't tell me about Honesty" Alyssa was offended that the white lady had lied to her and even more annoyed she used an innocent child to do it.
"I didn't lie about Nolani being feverish; we are just coming from a hospital before I asked Thokozani to make this stop. The drugs I was asked to give her might be why she is calm now"
As Naya opened her bag to bring out what Alyssa thought might be a weapon, Alyssa's hand went for the bottle of methylated spirit as her weapon against an attack. Naya took out a bottle of baby drug from her bag and handed it over to Alyssa.
"When did you give her this?" Alyssa asked
"Three hours ago" Naya answered truthfully.
"Okay, so you may be telling the truth about Nolani's fever but I can't help you Ma'am" Alyssa was polite.
