Chapter 15 - Trouble (5.1)

I put down the pencil and looked at the paper in front of me. I nod my head at my work. I just finished the second book of J*jo, and I'm proud of it. You did not just draw a few hundred pages of manga in the span of a few days.

While yes, technically, I'm nothing but a thief for stealing someone else's work, even though he is in the other world. However, I promise to donate all my income from this manga to the local orphanage and other donation sites I can find.

I will not use that money. Not even one yen.

Anyway, I put away the stack of paper and got ready to go to Yuka's home. She will come here in half an hour.

I open up the wardrobe and see if I have any formal clothes I can wear. To my surprise, I did not have any formal clothing. Well, I have one, but it was too big for me now. Because I'm not fat anymore, I cannot wear it now.

Most of the clothes inside the wardrobe are too big for me now. Hell, I bought my school uniform from the system shop. I keep forgetting to buy some clothes. I'm content using my current clothes when I'm inside my home.

"Urgh. System. Shop"

I guess I need to spend my hard-earned ST in something mundane like formal clothing. I want to save my ST to buy some armor set to get bonus stats.

I look at the shop option and sign a little. They are too expensive. I need 100 ST for one piece of cloth. Just like that, five hundred ST down on the drain.

~One hour later~

I ignore the massive house in front of me because my attention is tied to the magic around the house. While I cannot see them clearly, I can still see an almost transparent smoke dancing around the house.

It dances to the right and left but never leaves the house. It was like seeing a fairy playing around the house.

"Beautiful"

"Really? I thought it was nothing."

I snap from my thoughts when I hear someone saying that. I look to the voice source and see a man around his forty standing in front of the gate. He has short black hair, blue eyes, and lastly, a goatee.

"Ah, sorry about that."

"It was okay, but if you really think this house is beautiful, then you should see our home in Kyoto."

"Ah, it was not the house. It was the magic around it."

"Oh?"

"Yes. The magic around your house is beautiful. I can see them dancing in the air from right to left."

"Oh. Do you have a bloodline as well?"

I look at Yuka, who walks toward me. Bloodline? I don't have one. There is no bloodline skill or even title in my status window.

"No. I don't have any bloodline."

At least I don't think I have one.

"Really? Hmmm…"

I ignore Yuka's father's thinking expression and follow his daughter, who led me to the dining room. When we arrive in the room, I can see many delicious-looking foods on the table. However, what takes my attention is other people sitting at the table.

I looked at Yuka and whisper.

"Errr, is there anything I should know?"

"I'm sorry, Tanaka-kun, but they arrive this morning just before you arrive here. We were also surprised at their arrival."

"I see."

"I'm sorry for this. This is supposed to be a feast for you, but they are noble, and we cannot reject their visit without a good reason."

"Meh. Think nothing of it."

And I really mean it. I don't mind if other people are eating with us. I'm not the owner of the house, after all. I'm nothing but a guest.

"Thank you. Please sit on this chair. The feast will start shortly."

"Of course"

I sit down on the chair and see the other guest. There are six people in front of me: four adults and two teenagers around my age. If my previous body is fat, then the people in front of me are… overfat? I don't know.

I think they are two times bigger than what I used to be.

I snap from my thoughts when I hear a sneer coming from one of the people in front of me. I look at the source of the sneer and see it was coming from one of the teenagers.

"Is this your guest? Is this the one that makes us wait for ten minutes? This boy? This peasant?"

I urge a need to slap that big fat balloon in front of me.

"You let us, the Baron house, wait for a peasant? How dare you!"

I flinch a little. Not because I am afraid of them, no. I flinch a little because of how foul their mana is. Sometimes I really hate how big my WIS point is because WIS shows how big my mana is and represents how strong my insight and perception are.

And right now, I can feel how foul this boy mana is. It is like smelling an expired egg.

"Don't you dare to point your finger at him! He is the one that saves my life from Jorogumo!"

"Him?!? This boy?!? Hah! If he saves you from the Youkai, then you are nothing but an incompetent person. Look at him! He is from a nobody clan! The Himura clan is nothing but a peasant clan! They are nothing but mundane people. The people that are beneath us!"

This little shit dare to talk shit about my clan, huh? While I hate my blood parent, I love both my aunt, uncle, and grandparent. They are the ones that take care of me while my parents ignore me. They are the only family I have, and this little shit dares to talk shit about them.

You know what? F*ck it.

I released a burst of mana to the air. Let's see how this little shit feels being crushed by my mana.

Akagawa Yuka POV|

The sudden pressure coming from Tanaka-kun is not unexpected, but the amount of pressure is something I was surprised at. It was like being pressed from all sides. It was like swimming in the depth of the sea.

The pressure lasts for a few seconds before it disappears. I look up and see Tanaka-kun give me an apologetic expression before saying.

"I'm sorry about that."

"I-It's okay, Tanaka-kun."

I see him nod his head and look at Ishiwata Tadayoshi, who belittles Tanaka-kun and his clan before shaking his head in disappointment.

"You! How dare you! Just because you have more mana than me doesn't mean you can do what you just did!"

"I just did that. What can you do?"

"Duel! I challenge you to duel!"

"Really? Are you serious right now?"

"Yes. We will duel here now!"

I see Tanaka-kun rub his nose, but before he could say anything, my father appears from the door with a frown on his face.

"If you want to have a duel, you need something on the line."

"Hmph! I will give him my magic sword!"

"And what do you want from him?"

"He will become a slave to my house for three years!"

I grit my teeth when I hear him saying that. While the emperor has banned slavery for a long time, there is still a thing called temporary slavery. They are not slavery because the owner cannot kill the temporary slave, and they need to give him/her food three times a day. Sadly other than that, the owner can do anything. Be it r*aped or even torture.

"... Are you agreeing with this agreement, Himura Tanaka?"

Tanaka-kun looked at my father, sighed, and nodded his head.

"Yeah. Let's get this over with."

~Ten minutes later~

Ten minutes later, we are in the middle of the training ground where my crew and I usually train. To my left is Ishiwata Tadayoshi, who wears what looks like magic armor. He also holds a magic sword in his right hand and Onmyōji paper in his left hand.

To my right is Tanaka-kun standing there with his hand on his longbow. Behind his back is a quiver filled with an arrow and on his belt is a dagger that gives a dangerous feeling that makes my spine shudder.

"Both duelists are ready? Then Go!"
