I ignore all notifications of me getting XP and continue to fire my arrow at my enemy. However, even with my attention on the enemy, I still look at the system shop that still opens up in the corner of my eyes.
The reason? I need a bomb that I can detonate without hard preparation.
After a few minutes of dividing my attention between the marching enemy and the system shop, I found the item I needed.
Magic Bomb|
A bomb created by condensing mana inside a special case. You can activate it by giving the case a little bit of your mana. It takes five seconds before it explodes.|
{Damage: 700 explosion damage}
{Range: 10 meters around the bomb}
Fire Bomb|
A bomb created by a pyromaniac who stores his unstable fireball spell into a special case. You can activate it by giving a little bit of your mana into the case. It takes three seconds before the bomb explodes |
{Damage: 500 explosion damage}
{Effect: Give a burn effect that dealt 10 damage per second for ten seconds}
{Range: 15 meters around the bomb}
I bought ten of the magic bombs and twenty fire bombs without hesitation, and just like that, I lost all my ST. However, I am not sad about it because I know it will come back to kill as many goblins as I can.
When that is done, I focus my full attention on the enemy getting closer and closer.
"Charged Shot!"
"Magic Arrow!"
"Twin Shot!"
"Piercing Shot!"
Each arrow I shot, one of the goblins levy died from my arrow. So, for now, I only need to kill as many goblins as I can before I get away from this place.
~5 minutes later~
I take out the bomb from my inventory and activate it before I throw it to the army of goblins that try to get up to the wall of my fortress.
*BOOM*
The first bomb is thrown, and many of the goblins are dead from the explosion. I throw another bomb to the left, where the goblins almost get on top of the wall by using the corpses of the goblins underneath them.
*BOOM*
I keep throwing all my bombs to the goblins, and when my bomb is depleted, I take out my bow and fire an arrow at them. However, even with all the arrows coming at them, two thousand enemies is still too much.
The goblins breach the wall and come to my tower. I keep firing my arrow when the goblins get shot by the arrow trap. However, after a minute, the trap stopped working. It looks like the arrow traps are out of ammo.
Seeing there is no other option, I run toward the back window of the tower and jump out of it. I feel pain in my leg, but I endure it and run toward the portal. I see the portal open up as I approach it. I ignore the warcry of the goblin behind me and run through the portal.
"Haaa…. Haaa…. Dammit. I know it was a bad idea to try to fight against an army of monsters."
"Gigi! Gigi!"
I turn back and see five of the goblin warriors successfully follow me into this world. I grit my teeth when they stab me. I jump high and fire three arrows at them and take out my Hydra Dagger, then stab one of the goblins right in the head as I fall to the ground.
I quickly duck to dodge the incoming spear and charge at the goblin before stabbing it right in the neck. After I killed one of the goblins, I can feel a slight pain in my back. I look behind and see a goblin stab me right in the back.
I turn around and stab the little shit right in the head and see it die.
"Tanaka-kun!"
I look to the side and see Yuka casting a fireball spell at the goblin that tries to stab me. I ignore how Yuka came here and stabbed the goblin that stayed alive with my dagger. I look at the goblins who die on the ground before nodding my head and store my dagger inside my inventory.
Seeing there are no more monsters, I look at Yuka, who is running toward me. I wonder why she is here. The last time I see her, she is inside a fancy car and going home, but by looking at the school uniform she is still wearing, I know she did not get home.

Akagawa Yuka POV|
A few minutes before Tanaka walk inside the Goblins Dungeon|
I get out of the car and immediately follow Tanaka-kun, who walks somewhere other than his house. I want to know his secret to becoming strong. So I continued to follow him from very far away and after a few minutes of walking, he arrived in a small forest.
I continue to follow his mana trail for a few seconds. After a few seconds following his mana trail, I see him fighting a group of goblins! And I can see him bleeding from getting stabbed. I quickly run toward him and begin to chant when the goblin is within my range.
"O Lady of the sun! Grant me your blessing to smite the wicked! Fireball!"
A fireball comes out from my hand and flies toward the goblin that tries to stab Tanaka-kun. Seeing the goblin get burned by my spell, Tanaka-kun stabs the goblin with his dagger and kills it instantly.
After stabbing the burning goblin, Tanaka-kun ducks under another attack coming at him and stabs the goblin's neck with his dagger. After killing all the goblins, Tanaka-kun nodded his head and looked at me running toward him.
"Yuka-san! What are you doing here?"
"Err…"
How can I explain this and not look like a stalker….
"I want to know how you get so strong?"
Dammit, mouth!
"Ah…"
"Err… I mean… I"
What should I do now?!? What should I say in this situation? My mind begins to panic, trying to formulate a reason. Finally, however, I stop when I hear a laugh coming from Tanaka-kun.
"You are cute when you are panicking like that, Yuka-san!"
I can feel my head become hot when he says those words with that gentle smile. It is different from the smile I receive from other people. Their smiles feel… fake, but Tanaka-kun's smiles are gentle and warm.
I shake my head and put on a serious expression before asking.
"Tanaka-kun, are those goblins?"
I already know the answer, but I want to make sure.
"Yes. They are goblins."
"I see. Are you spending your free time hunting a monster in Tokyo?"
"Yes. I did"
"I see. Can you tell me how you know if there are goblins in this location?"
"I can feel them. The reason why I did not come back home once the school is over is to see if there is a monster around the area."
I nodded my head at his explanation.
"I see. I guess you are the reason why Tokyo did not have many monster activities. I thank you for your effort, Himura Tanaka. If not for you, Tokyo will be the nest of monsters and demons."
I bow my head at Tanaka-kun and give him my deepest thanks.
"No. No. No. I'm not doing much."
I look at him and smile. Tanaka-kun really is a humble person. But, unfortunately, not many powerful people are as humble as him. If only people were more like him and not like those arrogant bastards.
"Of course, Tanaka-kun."
I chuckle a little when I see a defeated expression he gives me.
