Chapter 2 - The Beginning of Revenge

The old man looked at me with a pale expression and apologized for being rude, but I couldn't gave more reaction. "Princess was lying down for ten days because consumed the poison of Beryllium. Even now you shouldn't force your body to move a lot and rest until fully recover," the doctor explained.

I thought of many scenarios what could happened to the previous owner of this body until she had to consumed poison, I felt sorry for her. "...Is Poinsettia really dead?" Perhaps the doctor didn't listen to me and continues with his own analysis, he asked me to focus on my own recovery in the future.

"Princess, at the time like this. You have to keep your mind strong and tight." But the old man's words couldn't reach me as my mind wandered to all scenarios that might happened to the previous owner. 'The owner of the original body must have died and disappeared. I don't know how I got this body but this definitely will be so much fun,' I thought of that. When I thought of that, the burden in my body felt lighter. I had come to the world where I couldn't do in my previous country, at least my IQ was above average so I thought I could survive in this place.

'This body is now belong to me, Poinsettia.'

Time has passed quickly, and it's been a week since I was claimed to be the princess and the successor of this empire. F*ck about being a princess, none of these people gave a d*mn about my presence. No one talked to me or gave me any words, I was fed on time with limited meals, no maids came to help me bath or changed clothes nor brush my hair. "If you look at the movie or read the book, the maids do everything. But not in this country?" I was angry.

Since there were no memory from the original owner of the body, I decided to take the time to adjust to this new environment. A week and it's enough for me to leant everything about this place, from the economy, society, court etiquette and others.

A new day approached, it was exactly two weeks since I became this darn Princess Poinsettia. "Will you go and call all the attendants in charge of me?" The maid with a face full of freckles who was cleaning the table answered bluntly with an unpleasant expression. "Everyone is busy with their tasks and there is no one will come." I laughed a little. Amazed on how a maid talked back to a royal family, I laughed out loud. Now I really had enough with this way of treatments, I now an imprerial princess, Poinsettia.

I stood up and approached her with a smile. "What is your name?" I asked for her name and she raised her eyebrows as she was puzzled. I changed the polite tone and asked one more time. "Yes. What's your name?" "It's Marie," she answered. "Marie. Your name is in two letters," I muttered. The maid looked me with an expression saying how silly I would be this time.

"Marie has two letters, so it must be a multiple by 2, right?" I asked. "Yes?" Then the room filled by slapping and beating noises. I hit her as I counted on multiplication of 2. After the end of the hitting, the maid's face was already swollen.

"Empress, no, Her Majesty. Please spare me. I was wrong," the maid begged pitifully. "Marie, isn't it so fortunately? That your name is only contain two letters in it. Imagine if you have more letters in your name, maybe five or six. Your face would have burst into unknown thing," I said with an evil smile. I didn't think she could see my smile since her face was so swollen that she couldn't open her eyes.

I pretended to feel bad and sad, then lifted her chin with my finger. The maid who saw straight into my eyes, trembled with goosebumps and fear. "Oh dear~ I will be very upset too if my cute face look like this." "...Her Majesty, please.. Please spare me," she continued to beg.

Gently, I strokes the back of my finger on her swollen cheek that startled her. "Now then, would you be nice and go to bring your friends? I want to talk to them," I ordered in a friendly tone. Marie barely could stand up and left the room with her wobbling legs. "There were no such exciting day like today," I talked to myself with a smirk. "I wonder what kind of punishment should I use next time."

Within a week, all the curtains in the room were wide open. Under the bright sunlight, how fun would it be to see their red cheeks with all their veins bursting out. The attendants gathered at a pretty fast pace now. 'Marie's swollen face must have been a good example,' I thought to myself. I could see their expressions were saying how curious they were, like did I really hit Marie.

I was already excited about how those foolish face expressions would changed. "So, shall we start then?" My eyes couldn't shine brighter than the sun, I smiled so widely full of excitement. Not that long until the room was filled with the cry of the people.
