When Polemos returned from his morning training and returned to the camp he had a thin layer of sweat on his exposed tanned upper body. Multiple scars were on his body that ran from his chest, stomach, arms, and even his back. But to Polemos they were a reminder of the struggles he went through in order to get stronger, as he even saw them as trophies. When he entered camp and saw an unconscious Alyan lying on the floor and a peacefully relaxed Rose by a fire. He smiled as he walked over to Rose as he rubbed her head while she hissed in glee.
'Looks like he tried to do something when I was gone, I did warn him, he's quite lucky that Rose didn't just kill him outright as it seems she just scared him till he passed out.' Polemos thought as he continued to rub Rose's head.
He continued to rub her head for a little longer then stopped as he had planned on finishing this quest for revenge before the day's end.
When Rose felt Polemos stop rubbing her head she made a disgruntled hissing noise as she felt his hand leave her head.
"Ssssss."
When Polemos heard Rose's hiss he smiled wryly as he shook his head. "I know, I know, I'll make it up to you when everything is all finished with this moron's death. Besides, when we head over to the Minor-Oasis we will have plenty of time to have some fun. Especially since it'll allow both of us to get stronger."
Even though Rose didn't really understand what he said she still hissed as she lowered herself back to the ground as she enjoyed the warm fire.
Polemos only smiled as he started to practice his basics with his heavy axe, ignoring the unconscious Alyan as he continued.
When he was practicing his basics he noticed that his heavy axe was lighter than he remembered when he practiced his basics. He smiled as he continued to practice his basics. When he finished he noticed that the thin layer of sweat increased slightly as he calmly put away his axe.
"The Mana Washing definitely did its job and more it seems. I'll definitely need to find the next level from those two." Polemos had a smile on his face as he brought his hand to his chin as he had a thoughtful look on his face. "The Blood of the Beast, I wonder how strong it is at the next level. I'll be able to find out when I ruin and take it from those two but first." Polemos looked over at the unconscious Alyan.
"I need to finish what this asshole started when he killed the original."
He stretched slightly then started to pack and clean up the camp which didn't take long. When he was done cleaning and packing everything Polemos cleaned himself up and put on clean clothes. He wore a pure white loose kurta, white harem pants, white cloth shoes, and tied his long abyssal black hair with a simple rope with his Death Bells ringing slightly.
"I look like a priest. Expect I'm definitely not a priest, I mean what type of priest acts like I do. Oh wait, many do they just try to hide it but, I'm not hiding anything I'm doing."
Polemos smiled in a devilish fashion as he even started to laugh slightly. After he was done with his musings he slowly walked over towards Alyan who woke up slightly after he finished packing the camp.
Alayn still didn't learn his lesson after he woke up and tried to run again but stopped when he felt a cold sensation ran down his spine when he felt that devils purple eyes look over.
There was still a look of fury and venom in his eyes as he continued to stare at Polemos as he walked over with a smile that brought disgust on his face.
"What are you smiling about? Do you really think that the tribe will allow you to kill me? Ha, the moment you show up you'll both meet your end." Alyan tried threatening Polemos again hoping to scare him.
But Polemos's smile only broadened further when he heard Alyans attempts to scare him as he laughed while placing his hands behind his back. As he continued to walk towards Alyan only stopping as he stood behind him.
"You must really be scared if you're still trying to threaten or attempting to scare me to not kill you but, fortunately for me your attempts mean nothing to me as your death is already guaranteed. No one will be saving you and if anything no one will care that I killed you as they'll only remember how."
When Alyan heard his response he shook as his eyes went wide.
"Looks like I was right. You're scared aren't you, the mighty and powerful Second Hunting Captain Alyan is scared of death. Well that is normal death is a scary and yet beautiful thing that we must all embrace, even Gods themselves must acknowledge. But enough of that I got a schedule to keep, by the time you wake you'll be in front of the tribe on your knees, arms raised ready to be embraced." Polemos didn't even wait for a response as he knocked Alyan out.
After Alyan fell forward Polemos grabbed the back of his head and lifted it so he could take one final look at the one who started his journey.
"Your death will start the real journey." He spoke softly as he released his grip on Alyans head as it fell back to the ground, then spoke to Rose. "It's time, let's go back and be done with this so we can start our journey Rose."
Rose hissed as she lowered her head as Polemos jumped on to her head as she used her forceps to lift and carry the unconscious body of Alyan. When she lifted his body she quickly left the camp and headed towards the tribe as Polemos silently and calmly sat atop her head with closed eyes, focusing.
It didn't take long for Rose to reach the edge of the tribe as she was greeted with screams from the other tribe members. When Polemos heard the screaming he smiled in an evil way as he jumped off Rose's head. When he landed on the ground Rose released Alyan as his body thumped against the ground.
He ignored the continued screaming as he waited for his two guests of honor with anticipation. He didn't have to wait all that long for both Mesakyle and Captain to arrive.
Mesakyle had a scowl on his face as his eyes held rage as well as confusion as he noticed not only Polemos but a body that looked familiar. While, Captain held no emotion on his face he silently walked behind Mesakyle. Even though Captain showed no emotion on his face it was a different story inside his mind as he grinned, waiting for Polemos to give him the signal to betray and kill Mesakyle.
'I wonder what you'll be showing me and the tribe Polemos. It's a slight shame Mesakyle will die before he sees it.' Captain thought as they stopped shorty near the edge of the tribe.
Unable to hold himself back Mesakyle spoke with anger and confusion in his voice.
"Your back so soon, it was only a short while ago when you left that message for me. So what surprise are you going to not only show me but the whole tribe, you accursed Devil!"
Polemos maintained his evil smile as he answered. "Again aren't you a rude one Mesakyle, I mean last time we met like this you did the same thing. I didn't even get to say hello or anything to build up the hype of what I'm about to do but, such is life I guess."
Mesakyle almost lost himself in rage when he heard Polemos's response but before he was able to do anything the Cursed Devil of the tribe spoke again.
"Well the surprise is quite simple actually. One, your whole expanding the tribe idea fell flat, all of the slaves seemed to be either dead or missing. I don't know, I didn't check on the rest when I left." Then he lifted his hand as a mass of flesh and muscles fell to the floor with a splat. "Two, Ashern is well, dead." Then he pointed to the body on the floor with an excited face. "Three, Alyan is the main surprise for all and finally."
Polemos gestured towards Mesaklye himself, which made him confused until he heard a thunder-like voice behind him.
"Your death!"
Then he felt something pierce through his back to his stomach.
When Mesakyle looked down he saw a bloodied hand had pierced through him as he trembled in pain as well as fury!
He was betrayed!
He tried to speak up or roar in anger but all that came out was a gurgled mess as he choked on his own blood.
Captain slowly drew his hand back but, when his hand was inside Mesakyles stomach he grinned a massive smile that looked demonic as he disemboweled him from his backside. As green and red steaming intestines were ripped out.
Mesakyle fell to his knees as blood flowed out the hole in his stomach, back, and onto the ground below him. There were many things that ran through his mind wondering why Captain had decided to betray him but he wouldn't be able to hear his reasoning as his life continued to flow out of him as his vision blurred and fell forward. Dying in a pool of his own blood.
"Well that was brutal, I like it." Polemos responded with a grin as he looked over to Captain.
"Indeed it was, damn that felt good. So, what do you have planned for him?" Captain asked as he pointed towards Alyan.
"I wonder if you or anyone has ever heard of a Blood Eagle before?" Polemos responded with an evil and vicious smile.
