He slowly walked over towards Alyan with one hand behind his back as he held a very sharp curved dagger in a reversed grip as he spoke aloud in a deep and cold voice.
"To those who are listening, I bring a gift, a gift of flesh and blood. I bring a gift of revenge and hate. Will he soar to the heavens or, will he descend to the depths of a cold merciless hell. I present to you Alyan, who will be reborn with the wings of an eagle, a Blood Eagle."
When Polemos finished his speech he stopped right in front of Alyan as he looked down on him with no emotion in his purple eyes.
Alyan could only helplessly look up with fear, regret, and mercy in his yellow-golden eyes.
Everyone stood behind Alyan. All with different looks on their faces.
Polemos didn't even say anything as he looked into Alyans eyes as he silently walked around him as he grabbed his gag and removed it. Then he removed his tunic, by grabbing the collar as he cut it down the middle, tossing it aside.
Revealing Alyans pale and smooth back.
Polemos mocked as disgust filled his face.
"Again how were you a Hunting Captain, no scars, just soft and weak flesh. It's no wonder why Mesakyle favored such soft flesh, and led the tribe to ruin."
Then a dark look filled his purple eyes as his voice came from the coldest pits of hell. "Both his and your idiocy both. You should have killed me when you both had the chance. All that awaits you both is an endless darkness. A cold and ugly darkness."
Polemos then stabbed the bone slicing curved dagger deep into Alyans flesh near his spine as he drove it down severing all his rib bones on the right side of his spine. Blood spattered and covered Polemos's white kurta, dying it a deep red as well as his face. With a twisting and anguished look on his face, Alyan wailed in pain with hate, fear, regret, and rage all over his face.
Polemos ignored his wailing as he repeated the same thing to his left side of his spine. Severing all his rib bones.
As blood covered his body he stood as he tossed the curved dagger away as he reached deep into Alyans incision on his left as he ripped, tore, and snapped his bones, revealing his insides from the back. As he stretched it as far as he could, he held it in one hand as he skewered his wings in place, right into his arm.
Revealing a bloody and fleshy mess, as Alyans muscles and longs pulsed sporadically. Polemos didn't even grin as he looked focused.
Repeating the same for his right side as he ripped, tore, and snapped his bones and skewered his flesh, creating his other wing.
Creating a pair of bloody wings. With his arms stretched high.
Alyan screamed the entire time.
"Scream all you want. Nobody will care, hell you even have an audience and they're more interested in what a Blood Eagle ritual is." Polemos spoke as he stood behind Alyan as he slowly walked and stood in front of him as he held his throwing harpoon in his hand. But noticed his words fell on deaf ears as Alyan couldn't hear him because of the crying and screaming.
Then Polemos raised his voice to gather the crowd's attention.
"A ritual fit for a "God," don't you think!"
He didn't wait for a reply as he spun his harpoon and threw it right through Alyans skull. Sending blood, bone chips, and brain matter out the back of his head. Ending Alyans life.
Carl had a deep look in his eyes as he took a long drag from his pipe, slowly releasing it.
Captain had a solemn look on his scarred face as Hella and Sella leaned on his arms, as Jaze stood in front of him.
Helen wore a neutral expression on her mature face as she looked at the ritual.
Sella had a fierce look in her eyes.
"Beautiful." Jaze spoke softly, that she herself could only hear.
Polemos then yanked and pulled out his harpoon, sending more blood, bone chips and brain matter to the sands. As he cleaned the harpoon and put it away in its sheath. He smiled as he walked over towards the group stopping beside Alyans dead corpse as blood covered him.
"That looked painful, but brutal. Mind if I borrow it?" Carl spoke first as he exhaled his second drag from his pipe and asked.
"Sure, I don't see why not, it is quite the statement don't you think." Polemos held his smile as he answered. "And indeed very brutal."
"Just make sure you keep it quiet or in your tent Carl, please." Captain spoke as he looked over to Carl. "It was interesting to watch, I even felt my blood boil slightly." Captain spoke with a spark in his eyes as he looked back at Polemos.
"I just wanted to watch and enjoy my husband and sisters' company. But it was violent to say the least." Helen spoke in a soothing voice.
"Yes, violent, and vicious. It made my blood boil in excitement. Honey Bun~." Sella looked up with a fierce and alluring look in her eyes. Captain only smiled.
"I thought it was beautiful." Jaze spoke in a clear but soft voice, with a look of wonder in her emerald green eyes.
Polemos smiled further as he nodded his head and took a bow.
"Thank you all for your kind and honest words." Then his smile faded as he replaced it with a carefree smile. "My farewell gift to the tribe has been completed but, if I may be shameless, I'll be taking everything in Alyans tent as well as his tent. As my trophy."
Captain only smiled and nodded as he spoke.
"That's no problem at all." Then he sighed. "Just wish you wouldn't be leaving the tribe already. It's been quite exciting."
Polemos only smiled, with a deep look in his eyes as he looked across the desert.
"The tribe is small, and the world is a massive place. I have many things that need to be answered, so much knowledge to take in, so many things to see, and to make my own happiness." Then he looked back to, Captain. "If anything, Carl does have a way to contact me as I'll be going to a nearby Minor Oasis soon. Plus I still have to increase my strength, for the things I seek."
Then taking another slight bow Polemos said his goodbyes to everyone.
"Make sure you ruin those two pricks for me. Losing my best customer." Carl chuckled as he said his goodbye.
While, Captain and his wives waved goodbye.
Polemos nodded his head one last time, covered in the blood of Alyan. He looked over towards Rose, as she slowly rose and started to crawl over to Polemos, following him as he headed to Alyans tent for his prize.
He walked through the tribe with his hands behind his back with a small smile on his face as blood drenched his clothes and face.
'I wonder what prizes await me. Hopefully it's something good, the only thing he had in his rings were just 100,000 silvers, as well as rations and clothes. Hopefully something important or worthwhile of him being the Second Hunting Captain of the tribe. If not then hopefully his tent is.' Polemos thought as he wondered about the tribe before reaching a large, lavish, and luxurious tent.
But when Polemos saw the tent he frowned. "It's gaudy but it does definitely stand out." Then he sighed. "I'll just sell the damn thing when I reach the Minor Oasis. Well hopefully the things inside will be better." He tried smiling as he walked in.
But the moment he entered the tent he cursed as a look of amazement spread across his face. Then slowly closed his eyes and started to rub his temples as they started to throb.
'That small dick, piece of crap. Just what made him destroy everything in his tent or was it already like this before he left to try and I really mean try to expand the tribe.'
He continued to rub his temples to try and relax himself as he slowly lifted his head and really looked around to see if he could find anything worthwhile, he could find anything except broken objects everywhere. Then when he noticed a discolored cloth that didn't match the tent color, he was intrigued as he walked through the broken table, chairs, and junk across the tent.
"Well I wonder what he tried to hide behind this completely obvious hiding spot." He chuckled as he reached the corner and pulled away the discolored cloth. "Now this was definitely worth claiming his tent." He said as he rubbed his chin with a look of focus in his eyes.
When he removed the cloth he found an old and large map that only the Tribe Leader and Hunting Captains were supposed to have. And the best part was that it was extremely detailed. Something he had been looking for ever since he was reincarnated in this world.
"This is just perfect with all the details and the references in Alayahs journals. I should be able to hopefully find the bandits they were working with and even help me on my journey to the Minor Oasis." Polemos smiled devilishly as he looked and studied the map for a moment till he put it away in one of his rings then started to take down the tent and store it in his ring to sell later.
When Rose saw Polemos putting the gaudy and "lavish" tent she hissed as she lowered her head as he jumped atop and rubbed her head, sitting crossed legged.
"Let's head to camp and get packing Rose, we start our journey in the morning."
