Polemos smiled his devil-like smile as he pulled out his throwing harpoon and threw it at her foot, piercing right through it pinning her to the floor as she screamed in pain.
"Oh, this is only the start Alayah."
Polemos's purple eyes were ice cold as he had no emotion in his voice but was completely shocked when he saw Alayahs eyes roll back showing the white of her eyes as she fell to the floor like a puppet who lost its strings.
When Polemos saw Alayah fall to the ground his left eye twitched in annoyance as he was getting a little tired of the weakness of everyone he has killed so far.
"This is really starting to piss me off a little, I mean I know I'm a part of a very small wandering nomad tribe but come on. Could we at least be a little stronger or at least have a damn spine or at the minimum a challenge. I really hope that Minor-Oasis will provide it, from the sound of it, it definitely should." Polemos spoke aloud as Alayah was unconscious on the ground as blood started to pool around her pinned foot.
Noticing that she wasn't going to wake anytime soon Polemos grabbed the rope from his throwing harpoon and pulled. The harpoon came off Alayahs foot but it didn't come alone as a chunk of her foot came along with it. When Polemos saw the chunk of flesh on the harpoon he even noticed that it was still twitching and pulsing as blood dripped off it onto the floor.
"Well at least this shows that she is still alive plus I'm amazed that she is still unconscious. Am I really that scary? Damn I don't want to be scary but, I guess it'll do. I mean at least to my enemies I should be scary, not cuddly."
Polemos just grabbed the chunk of flesh and tore it off his harpoon and threw it to the side as he focused his attention back to Alayah as he formed a water ball and tossed it to her head trying to wake her. But when he noticed that didn't work as she was still laying on the ground.
'Not even a groan. Well this was, anticlimactic I guess. I'll just finish this farce and go and see Hassan.' Polemos shrugged as he readied his throwing harpoon.
Polemos threw his harpoon right through the face of Alayah.
The harpoon pierced through her skull, piercing her brain and even coming out the back of her skull. When the harpoon went through Alayahs skull Polemos just had a cold look in his purple eyes as he smiled then grabbed the rope and pulled. When he pulled the harpoon back it violently yanked Alayahs head forward as the harpoon came out bringing along chunks of brain and chips of bone as blood spattered across Polemos's face.
"I really need to learn some type of defensive shield or something, I mean I'm not averse to blood and brain as I'll be seeing plenty of it but, I don't like wearing it all the time."
Polemos shook his head as he tore the chunks of brain off his harpoon and cleaned it. Putting it back in his belt, he didn't even say anything as he left, when he turned around to leave his Death Bells rung slightly bringing a pleasant sound calming his mind.
When Polemos heard the bells he smiled as he headed out and noticed the mangled and broken corpses of the two guards who didn't leave as he saw Rose munching on what seemed to be a torso. Blood and viscera covered her mouth as she was enjoying her snack but, when she noticed Polemos leaving the tent she quickly finished as she hissed.
"Hisssssss."
Polemos wasn't even surprised when he saw the two corpses as he did say that they should leave. But he didn't care as Rose scurried close and hissed again.
"Hissss."
Polemos reached out and rubbed her head as he smiled. "Hey Rose, it was quicker than I thought sorry if I ruined your snack it seemed. If you want to finish them it's fine I can wait as I did seem to forget to loot my kill so I'll be right back."
Polemos had an embarrassing look on his face as he rubbed the back of his head and went back inside Alayahs tent to see if there was anything of value to take. But unfortunately there didn't seem to be anything of value except a lot of journals and books which he would look at later. When Polemos came back out he noticed that both corpses were gone as Rose was waiting for him.
"All done awesome, let's go and visit Hassan next then Rose." Polemos smiled as he rubbed her head and headed to the East of the tribe. As he walked towards Hassan's tent he put his hands behind his back as he spoke aloud.
"Ironic isn't, on the East side of the tribe where the sun rises, where it makes it easier for you to praise your Goddess." Polemos had a smile on his face as head looked to the sky. "Still in the end you'll never be embraced Hassan only a never ending darkness awaits you but, if that's what you believe then so be it I'll do what I can to help you be embraced."
Polemos raised his right hand and as he looked at it and spoke softly.
"Asmodeus' Hand."
The spell that Polemos used was one of his Science Experiment spells as it was one that was the easiest for him to use without currently backfiring or creating a backlash. His hand started to glow a bright red as an intense heat came off his hand. Polemos looked at his hand and focused, trying to understand his spell more.
"I know I can do better plus this would bring shame to Asmodeus himself if he saw this. I need more knowledge, I need more!" When Polemos spoke he had a crazed look in his eyes as the more he found what Mana was capable of, his thirst for knowledge related to it awakened. He was able to bring himself back as he clenched his hand, canceling the spell.
When he looked up he noticed he was near a different colored tent from the rest of the tribe as it was a mixture of both red and gold. It didn't look tacky or even gotti, it looked like it fit in with the background of the desert. Even Rose tilted her head as she hissed.
"Ssssss."
"Yeah I agree it's one hell of a tent he must truly believe in Ra." Polemos nodded his head as he agreed with Rose's hiss even though she couldn't speak but, he didn't care as he felt that's what she meant.
Rose and Polemos stopped as they looked at the tent. Enjoying its unique beauty.
They waited for what felt like ten minutes before Polemos took a deep breath and closed his eyes and released a long breath. As he slowly walked up to the tent with his hands behind his back. When he reached the entrance to the tent he spoke and announced himself to Hassan.
"Hello Hassan, it's me, the Cursed Devil of the tribe Polemos the Mad One. It seems like the bells have rung for you today as I'm here to keep my promise. And I'll even agree to a request for how you want to die to be embraced by your Sun Goddess Ra."
Polemos spoke with a heavy voice and a deep look in his purple eyes as he waited for Hassan's reply. He didn't have to wait as Hassan replied with a heavy but happy tone in his voice.
"Ah, I wondered when you would finally come, Polemos. Thank you for allowing me the time to fast and prepare myself for when it was time for Ra to take me. Please come in and I apologize that my tent isn't big enough for Rose."
When Polemos heard Hassan's apology for his tent not being bigger he smiled as he shook his head and replied back.
"No need to apologize Hassan but I do appreciate the thought for Rose as she is important to me as Ra seems to be for you." When Polemos entered the tent he noticed that it was simple on the inside as it had only the things that Hassan needed. He stopped the moment he entered as he saw Hassan sitting cross legged with his eyes closed on the floor in a bright red robe that had gold trimming but, what surprised him was a urn next to Hassan.
When Polemos entered the tent Hassan opened his eyes as they shined a bright light when he opened them as he smiled.
"Welcome to my tent, and yes Ra definitely is, I just wish I realized it sooner. When we thought we killed you I felt disgusted with myself and tried to change myself and find something better and I did." Then he pointed to the urn. "I'm sorry this was the best I could do for Elder Spear after Ashern killed him. And if I could request anything please do it with fire. That's my only request that I could ask."
