Ruri: Hello?"
(Ruri was outside of the abandoned warehouse. She was banging on the door and pulling on the door knob. She wanted to make sure it was really abandoned and no one lived there. It looked like no one was there, but the door was locked.)
Dai: "It had to be locked for a reason. Maybe we should go to another one. There's a bunch of other ones down there. Maybe one is even bigger than this one."
Ruri: "Well I still want to look around here. Maybe they have some good supplies that I can use for building an arena. Plus that other place is pretty far. My legs need a little break."
Dai: "It's not that far. I can see it from here, sort of."
Ruri: "Yeah, sort of. Dai you can go over there if you want, but I just wanna check this one out right now. Just cuz it's here."
Dai: "Ugh fine."
(Dai stood behind Ruri as she tugged on the door. Dai decided he would help.)
Dai: "Here, let me try."
Ruri: "Oh yeah, like you can do any better."
(Dai turned the tip of his finger into a drill and stuck it into the keyhole. It broke it and the door opened up.)
Dai: "Done."
Ruri: "Well, uh thanks."
Dai: "You're welcome. Now let's hurry up and search this place. I don't wanna waste Kazu's time."
Ruri: "Ok."
(The place looked old. There was dust everywhere, but not as much as they thought. It didn't look too old, like maybe someone was here recently.)
Dai: "Huh? Do you think someone was here?"
Ruri: "I don't know who would. Maybe some construction workers."
Dai: "Or some teenager's."
Ruri: "hehheh, yeah."
(Ruri was a little scared. It just looked so creepy, then something made it worse.)
Dai: "Uh, Ruri?"
Ruri: "Yeah."
(Ruri turned to Dai and saw a tv. It was older, like maybe from the 90s. It didn't look that bad. Not like it was broken or anything.)
Dai: "Wow, that's not too bad. Do you think we'd need this for the tournament?"
Ruri: "Probably not. I feel like we could do something better than that. Now I'm starting to think maybe some construction might be being done here. Maybe we should go."
(Dai looked around for a second.)
Dai: "Yeah, I think you're right. Let's go check the other ones. Maybe they'll be bigger and cleaner."
Ruri: "Hehheh, yeah."
(They walked out through the front door and Dai closed it behind them. A few minutes after they left, everyone started to come out of the shadows one by one.)
Kage: "Those jerks broke my lock."
Cho: *Sadly* "And talked trash on our tv."
(Cho walked over to the tv and gave it a big hug like it had feelings.)
Kage: "A tournament? Hmmm, interesting."
(Kage turned to Z.)
Kage: "Z."
Z: "Yeah."
Kage: "You want to know the next step to my plan. Well, it's coming up."
Selene: "And done."
Yui: "Wow, it looked really good."
(The flyer had blue and purple on it. It had a blue background and was in purple font. It read 'come to the hero mansion where you will go through one of Kazu's portals. On the other side will be a tournament between heroes and there can only be one winner. This will be at 2:30 on the 15th'.)
Yui: "Man, five more days."
Selene: "Yeah, I know. Also, I had Taku go print us a bunch of theses. We should have 50,000 in total."
Yui: "Wow, do you think we'll need that many?"
Selene: "Maybe, I mean we're just placing these around to be fair. Maybe we can have Kazu place some in other cities for us."
Yui: "Yeah maybe. Do you think he's busy though? Setting all this stuff up."
Selene: "Well let's go ask him."
(Selene and Yui walked downstairs to see Kazu and Mr. Clone talking about somethin important.)
Mr. Clone: "Kazu all I'm asking is if two of the competitors can stay here or not?"
Kazu: "Yeah, and all I'm asking is who are they?"
Mr. Clone: "Ok, I don't know fully, but they seemed nice last time I saw them. The girl is a little rough around the edges, but the guy seems to calm her down a lot."
Kazu: "Ok, so you want two strangers that you sort of know to live with us, and one has a few anger problems."
Selene: "To be fair you let Reo stay here."
(Kazu turned to Selene not noticing she was there listening in.)
Kazu: "Ok, that was different. I knew Reo, kind of, but I knew he was a hero. Like we've fought together before I let him live here."
Mr. Clone: "Come on, Kazu. They're nice. Trust me, I've been with them for a while. So has Protector."
(Mr. Clone turned to Protector who was lying on the couch.)
Mr. Clone: "Tell him how nice these people are."
Protector: "Mhm."
Mr. Clone: "See, Protector believes too."
Kazu: "I don't know if that was him agreeing with you or not, but I still don't know."
Mr. Clone: "Come on. I'll make sure they're good and don't cause trouble."
(Kazu kind of looked around for a minute. It was times like these he hated being in charge. He always had to make the tough decisions. Even though this seems like not such a tough decision, it is. If he says no then he can lose respect and morale could go down, but he says yes there is a chance that these people come in and kill everyone in their sleep. He sometimes thought he was overthinking this stuff, but this over thinking helped him make a lot of decisions. Like when he pushed over the bookshelf so Taku had something to do. It wasn't just to keep him out of Kazu's hair, it was to teach him that sometimes you won't get the best jobs, but you have to deal with it. Taku may not like Kazu as much as he did before that, but that is something you can get over. This on the other hand, is different. Mr. Clone may think Kazu doesn't trust him, so then Mr. Clone may start to drift from Kazu. Kazu has known Mr. Clone for awhile and he has no reason not to trust him. He also knows he's an incredibly nice guy, but can sometimes hold grudges. This would be a grudge he held, so Kazu could only do one thing.)
Kazu: *sigh* "Yes, they can stay."
Mr. Clone: "Awesome, that was very manly of you, Kazu."
Kazu: "Yeah, but please watch them. Keep a close eye on them."
Mr. Clone: "Yes boss sir."
Kazu: "Heh."
(Kazu walked away leaving Mr. Clone to celebrate. Kazu loved being friends with people, but as a leader, sometimes you need to be the boss.)
Reo: "They finally got the flyers."
(Reo and Sara we're walking back to the house from the city.)
Sara: "Yeah, they got them all printed out. So we know when this thing is."
Reo: "Do we know where it is?"
Sara: "Hmmm, I don't think so. I think Ruri and Dai are still looking for a place, but they haven't come back yet."
Reo: "Mhm, well they better hurry up. I don't wanna have these people asking me questions I don't know."
Sara: "Yeah, well what are you going to do? They don't know you don't know that, and if you tell them that you don't know that then they'll get mad that you don't know that, but you don't know how to stop it so you sit there looking like you don't know how to stop it, so then they-"
Reo: "I'm gonna stop you right there. Maybe next time you wanna explain something, be less confusing."
Sara: "Oh, sorry."
(They walked the rest in silence. Sara was used to being quiet a lot with Reo. He didn't like to talk too much. It kind of aggravated him, so Sara learned when to be quiet. Sometimes she'd forget when to stop talking because she was so used to talking it up with the others, but Reo will say something that would remind her to zip it. Either way Sara loved her brother, no matter what, and she knew he loved her back. He didn't even have to say it.)
(It was dark out and raining. A bus pulled up to it's stop. Only two passengers got off. A girl and a boy. The girl had dark skin and was wearing a white crop top and black shorts. Her hair was dyed pink and she black pupils. She had a nose ring and a fire tattoo on her right arm. It looked like there was a silver bangle covering something up on the tattoo. She looked kind of mean, the guy on the other hand looked sweeter. The guy had a lighter shade of skin than the girl and was wearing a black sweat shirt and black baggy sweatpants. He had medium long brown hair and light brown kind eyes. He had an earring in his left ear and a rose tattoo on his right arm. He was looking at a paper map trying to not get it wet.)
???: "Damn, uh Kirenia? Can you help reading the map? I got like half of it wet and it's hard to read. I'm trying to see if it's the half that shows us where to go or the half that we don't need to go. "
(A splash of water fell on him and part of the map after he said that.)
???: "Oh *spits* Damn it. Kirenia can you look at this please? Just while I dry off."
(Kirenia grabbed the map from him.)
Kirenia: "Shurui, you wanna put your hood up. Maybe the water won't bother you so much with it up."
(Shurui grabbed for his hood and put it up. It was filled of water and splashed down the back of his neck. Kirenia snickered a bit.)
Shurui: "Probably advice for before we got off the bus."
Kirenia: "Sorry."
(Shurui walked over to her and tried to read the map with her. He shivered a bit from the water. The map was soaked with water, it was so hard to read.)
Kirenia: "Ugh, we'll never be able to read this. How come that clone guy didn't give us better directions?"
Shurui: "Well this is the best direction he could give us. Pretty much everyone knows where it is and we're new so we gotta just guess."
Kirenia: "Pfft, that's dumb. What's this city even called anyway? I don't see it on the map."
Shurui: "Umm, I don't know, he didn't tell me. I don't know if he knows."
Kirenia: "Ugh this is all so stupid."
Shurui: "Well hang on, let's not give up yet. He was nice enough to tell us about this. Maybe this is how we get famous. How we get noticed and become big heroes. Plus the city wasn't that far, so we didn't have to pay a lot for the bus."
Kirenia: "Not like we need to save our money. We have enough."
Shurui: *sigh* "Yeah right. Well what do you wanna do? Ask around?"
Kirenia: "Sure maybe we'll find it."
(Kirenia threw the map on the ground and started walking. Shurui picked the map up and started to follow her. He was looking at the map, still trying to make out some of the writing. He ran right into Kirenia and fell backwards. He looked up to see Kirenia was looking at something on the other side of the building. He got up to see what she was looking at.)
Shurui: "What are yo-"
(Before he could finish he saw a giant mansion. It was a half a mile away, but it still looked huge.)
Kirenia: "So, I found the place."
