Kai: "Ready."
(Rage cracked his neck.)
Kai: "Set."
(Reo cracked his knuckles.)
Kai: "Go."
(Rage charged at him in a blast. He was fast, but Reo was faster. Reo dodged with ease. He didn't wanna use his electricity so much due to the Cloak fight. His heart was in absolute pain, and he couldn't fight anyone else. If he was gonna win he would have to fight more than just one battle. Rage was using lots of fire just to get near him. His skin was bright pink, and Reo didn't know if that was from the fire or because he was so mad. He didn't seem to be the smartest about his attacks. He seemed to just charge and then charge again. If this was going to be the entire fight, Reo could definitely last. A minute has past of just dodging and the crowd was getting bored. Reo was getting bored himself, so he thought he'd do something. Rage did another charge, but instead of dodging, Reo kicked him in the stomach. Rage grabbed his leg when it touched him and he threw Reo into the air. Reo was flying, and it looked like he was gonna fly off the arena. Maybe even out of the stadium. He had to think fast, he made an electric ball which made it explode in the air. It sent a shockwave throwing him back down onto the arena. It hurt a little, but he could handle it.)
Rage: "Smart Reo, but brains can't save you from this battle."
Reo: "I thought so. When I saw who I'm fighting I knew this wasn't a fight for smart people."
Rage: "Shut up!"
(Rage charged again, but Reo was tired of dodging. He covered himself in electricity and charged at him too. They met down the middle and grabbed onto each other. Rage had fire going all over him, and felt like it was just getting hotter. Kai said the angrier he gets the stronger he gets, so if Reo makes him mad, he'll just get stronger. If Reo didn't wanna use too much electricity, he'd have to calm the hot coal down.)
Reo: "Wow you're so strong. I thought you were weak, but damn, you really are powerful."
Rage: "Heh heh, I told you! You're weak compared to me!"
(He could slowly feel the heat cooling, and the pressure of him pushing was weakening. It's working.)
Reo: "Yeah, you were right. You're so powerful."
Rage: "Haha, yes i a-WAH!"
(Reo tripped Rage and threw him towards the edge, but Rage caught himself. He stood up, and he looked way angrier.)
Rage: "Oh really! Trying to make me weak with words! That won't work! You're dead!"
(Rage charged at Reo again. Making him not angry won't work anymore. He may be dumb, but he's not dumb enough to forget that. He'll probably just get angrier, but maybe that's what Reo wants. Reo dodged his attack again.)
Reo: "Sorry, I guess I thought you were dumber. Now I know, you're dumb, just not that dumb."
Rage: "What did you just say?!"
(More fire went around Rage, and Reo could feel the heat from across the arena. Everyone has a weakness and usually it happens when you use your core too much. Reo didn't know what Rage's weakness was, but he has a guess it's when he gets too angry.)
Reo: "Well I mean obviously you're dumb. Look at yourself. You don't look very smart."
Rage: "I'm going to crush your face!"
(Rage charged again, and Reo charged at him too, but he didn't attend on attacking. He hated not fighting, but he was here to win, not have fun. He jumped right over him and kicked him in mid air. This made Rage fall, but he quickly got up.)
Rage: "Stop with you petty dodges and fight me head on!"
(Rage charged and Reo tried to jump over him, but he was caught. Rage grab him by the leg again, but before he could throw him Reo grabbed onto him.)
Rage: "Let go damn it!"
Reo: "Make me!"
(Rage was trying to pull Reo off and while he was doing that, Reo was sending shocks into him. Making each one stronger than the last. Rage was tired of this, he sent mass amounts of fire out of him. Reo had to let go. He jumped off and backed away, still staying in the arena. Fire was everywhere, it was going at random, and it looked like Rage was not in charge of where it went.)
Kai: "Yeah, he lost control. If he gets too angry he loses control of his fire completely."
Reo: "And you say this now!"
Kai: "Well I don't wanna give away weaknesses."
(Reo started to walk back towards Rage, but he was stopped by Protector.)
Protector: "Stop, I need to make a barrier around the arena. I will need you to exit."
Reo: "And lose? No way."
Protector: "You will win by default. Now hurry and get out."
Reo: "Pfft, winning by default is losing to me. Ima win this the way I want. By sheer force."
(Reo punched his fist into his palm and started to walk to Rage. Protector put a giant barrier around the entire arena. Mr. Clone ran up to him.)
Mr. Clone: "What are you doing?! Get him out of there!"
Protector: "He wanted this. Give him a chance. Kazu can always save him if it gets too bad."
Mr. Clone: "Well, ok."
(They all watched, the crowd was at the edge of their seats. Reo was getting closer to Rage. It was hotter in there with the barrier up. The fire was trapped inside, so was Reo.)
Reo: "Calm down, damn it!"
Rage: "I….Can't!"
(He looked in pain. He can't control this at all. Reo really did have to stop him. The only way he knew how.)
Reo: "The fights still not over! I don't care how much fire there is! Come here and face me!"
Rage: "What?!"
Reo: "Fight me!!!"
(This was such a loud yell the entire stadium heard him. Rage looked at him for a second, then charged again. His fist up ready to punch. Every step he took closer, it got hotter for Reo. Rage was right in front of Reo and threw a punch, but Reo dodged under it. He charged his fist up with so much electricity his heart hurt a tiny bit, but not too much. His fist connected with Rage's jaw. It felt weird punching without his metal gloves, but it still worked. Rage flew back unconscious. He flew up to the air and against the barrier. He broke right through it and fell onto the sand. The sand turned into piping hot liquid glass as soon as he hit it. Reo won the fight. The barrier was brought down for Reo to walk out of. Sara ran up and gave him a big hug as soon as he stepped foot on the ground. Tears falling from her cheeks.)
Reo: "Jeez, you gonna cry every time I almost die."
Sara: *sobs**Sniffles*
Reo: "Ew, you're getting snot on me. Get off."
(Reo pushed her off. She wiped her nose and smiled at him wiping the snot off.)
Reo: "Ew, disgusting."
Sara: "hehe, sorry". *sniffle*
Selene: "Glad you're alive, Reo."
Reo: "Yeah, glad I won. So I can beat you when you come up. Now can we stop getting emotional over this battle, Jesus. Move it along."
Kai: "Finally, this lovey-dovey crap is making me sick. Next fight is Rei vs. Selene."
Dai: "Hey, Ruri. You didn't sign up for the tournament?"
Ruri: "Oh, uh no."
Dai: "Why's that?"
Ruri: "Well you know I'm not much of a fighter. This is for more of the hero thing. I technically never went to hero school either."
Dai; "Wait really? How are you on the team then?"
Ruri: "Well since I helped with the destruction after the fights in Tokyo, Kazu said I can be here as long as I mostly avoid fights."
Dai: "Have you?"
Ruri: "Well, I've fought a little bit."
Dai: "Hehe, yeah. I thought so. Well I was just wondering why you weren't in the tournament, so guess I'll go meet up with Taku."
Ruri: "Looks like he found you."
Dai: "Huh?"
(Dai turned around to see Taku standing there.)
Dai: "How long were-"
Taku: "So you ask why she wasn't in the tournament, but you don't ask why I wasn't in the tournament."
Dai: "Oh, I didn't realize you weren't in it."
Taku; "You don't realize your own brother wasn't in it. How dare you?"
Ruri: "I'm gonna go."
(Ruri side stepped away.)
Dai: "Uh, well why weren't you in it."
Taku: "Well if you must know. I forgot to sign up."
Dai: "You forgot?"
Taku: "Yup."
Dai: "Taku, You just had to ask Kazu you wanted to be in."
Taku: "Yeah I know."
Dai: "He lives with us."
Taku: "I said I forgot!"
(Taku angrily walked off thinking his brother forgot about him, while Dai was confused how Taku forgot about the tournament. Selene and Sara were talking before the battle. The arena had to be cleaned a bit before the next fight.)
Selene: "So, how are you feeling about this fight?"
Sara: "Pretty good, but a little scared. How about you?"
Selene: "I'm feeling great. Hope you can keep up."
Sara: "I could say the same for you."
Kai: "Rei and Selene you guys can come up to the arena now."
Selene: "Well here we go. Good luck."
Sara: "Good luck."
