Minding my own business as I watched the children play around in the playground, their parents didn't feel worried about my presence as I wore a uniform which they were familiar with.
Turning off the phone, I half-heartedly accepted the invitation as I then put my helmet on before going over my bike.
Starting its engines, I turned on my spectacles HUD Interface as I then activate the GPS satellite.
Commanding the location that was given by the witch, the AI responded with the coordinates and an auto-updating map.
"Perfect..." I muttered to myself as I then realise I left my watch behind in the room. Sighing once more, I then took a U-turn back to the direction of my university.
At trustful and lawful speeds, I drove through countless traffic as I passed through cars, buses, trucks and other vehicles that came my way.
Seeing my university from a few kilometres away, I sped up a little more before I took a special section which led me to the drop-off point of GIT-U's entrance as I hopped off my back, scanned my ID Card and swiftly sprinted through corridors and hallways as quickly as I could.
Through a flight of stairs, I then ended up back at my room's level before shuffling through a set of keys and unlocking the door.
Slowly pushing it open, I notice my partner was nowhere in sight as I then unlocked my secret drawer compartment and detached my watch from the laptop. Latching it upon my wrist, I then went back to square one and sprinted back to my bike.
The gate's guard a little dumbfounded, watched me rev my engine before exiting the building quickly.
Now finally following the GPS, I rode through a few kilometres away from my town before driving deeper into a dark depth of forest and greenery. Taking a muddy path meant for trekkers and bikers, I noticed the map was a little adjusted more for a secret entrance.
Losing signal, my map slowly disappeared as my glasses turned back to normal. Annoyed with the static sound it gave off, I smacked it hard with my free arm before it sparked and silenced.
Noticing a little small but a few feet under the cliff I was driving through. I took a small bunny-hop as I drove down carefully and took a small free space as a parking spot.
"I hope this is the place..." I said to myself as I removed my helmet. Placing it on the handle of my bike, I then headed towards the door of the little hut. "Though a little ancient, I am pretty sure the inside would be a little bit more than just modern. After all, it's the black witch."
As I reminded myself about the witch's tricks and teasing behaviour which I found off over the millennia. I then knocked on the door in a familiar rhythm as it then opens automatically by itself.
With a spooky creak, it made a jarring sound that pierced the ears, as I slowly ventured into its dark interior. Getting my eyes used to the darkness, the door behind him shit quickly as I stuttered in surprise.
"Woah there..." I squeaked as I check if I could unlock the door. Nope, not a budge.
Seeing a table with a few olden wax candles slowly lighting up, I notice a dark figure who walked up towards me, grab my arm without notice and drags me to the respective chair given.
Accepting the seat, the figure then disappears before a crystal ball of sorts glows a lantern based light. Reflecting a face of its light, I see a figure the opposite of me closely as I saw a pair of pretty smooth fingertips reaching upon the ball.
"Welcome, Ryuu..." A creepy voice called out to me as I looked towards the face which slowly appeared.
A person I was familiar with, with flowing black hair and red lipsticks, I knew that I can finally relax my body as I found the correct place. With a young adult of a body and seductive haze, she blinks twice as her snake-like eyes reflect a twinkling disposition.
"Sorry for the odd introduction, I was just preparing for Halloween." She apologised as the lights of her room flicker a beige colour before lighting the room fully.
"How are you, Ryuu. It's been ages, hasn't it?" She asks as I noticed her room was rather orientally decorated yet have a modern twist to it. "I bet you are curious how I found out about your number."
"Pretty much you used your magic crystal over there. The one that I "didn't" sacrifice my life to get for you." Respectively replying to her, she then waves her hand as the figure that invited me earlier came to us holding a tray with snacks and tea.
Placing it down, I notice that her skin was rather pale and a little rotten. Stitches in a few lots, her eyes were differently coloured as she barely spoke a word.
"Here's tea master..." It grunted as it slowly bends itself down, placing the tray before raising again, standing still like a statue.
"This is Angelina. She was a trekker that passed away a few years ago here in these mountains from a rock slide. I decided to made use of her corpse and make her into my trusty partner from then on out. As a flesh-golem, she only follows my bidding and only allows her to talk and move freely if I will it."
"Isn't that a little pitiful?" I asked as I sipped the tea that was given to me. "She is forced to be alive without letting her rest in peace. Look at her, she looks like she wished she was dead again."
"Chill out, will ya? Hear me out first." The Black Witch replied as she points to the servant. "She's a hundred per cent dead-dead. She has no soul at all. I only made an artificial soul filled with my own choice of personality and behaviour that I configured into her. She's pretty much a robot if she was made out of living tissue. Hence a flesh-golem."
"That's a little creepy..." I muttered as I watch the servant look at me dead straight into my eyes without a single blink.
"Well then, since you got to meet my servant, you better don't try to do anything funny to her while I am not looking. I know how guys are. You know it, that I know it." Teasing me, I laughed with an embarrassed look as I had small flashbacks of a time when I first met her.
It was the year 1890. I was walking through the forests of Yore searching for a rumoured village tree-house in the middle of the Dark Forest.
No, not the one I am in but rather a place similar to here. A so-called sorcerer stayed in this house which could grant any wishes and teach any spells as long as her probably students put up the time with her antics and hard teachings.
Usually famous among male adventurers and creepy old merchants, they mostly asked this sorcerer of a lass to make their wishes come through which could be through small dark blessings of love or even just a simple increase in wealth.
Anything within the dark and filthy spectrum of human filth could be granted as long as they had the money to do so. But unlike them, I wasn't there for her blessings, I was there as a willing student and to ask her for help for my mission.
Climbing on to a makeshift ladder nailed I'm with planks and rope, I headed up before being greeted by a dark house that was made with the same wood that surrounded this forest.
Musky black and ashen, it made sense why this forest was called the Dark Forest.
Knocking a rhythmic password which was only shared with a few individuals, I was then greeted with a similar creaking door and shutting behind technic as the candles lit up.
Noticing a figure cross-legging as she sat on her bed. I saw a purplish aura that lingered around her as the giant book she read floated and close slowly by itself.
Barely seeing the figure, I only noticed that she had a huge hat stereotype of a sorcerer, robes with was tightened and very slim hips. Her pair of legs had nail-polished nails of black ink as she made a very girlish laugh.
"Why hello there...wanderer, why have you come?" Speaking in a very mystical yet calm way, her tone was very seductive as I heard an audible lip-licking surrounding the room as she lays on her bed.
Going with the flow, I then asked her if she could help me to create a certain potion that I needed for that time, a spell to summon waves of water within one mutter in a form of an elixir bottle.
Humming a lullaby, she giggles before looking deep into my eyes with her deep red iris as she winks at me. With a flick of a match, she lights the candles next to her as she then sits down and smiles. Finally her face, I smiled in glee as I finally caught her attention.
"Quite an unusual request from a boy such as you." She said as her face was rather similar to her current time.
Was it sorcery or was it some sort of beauty treatment she went through, who knows, I thought at that time as I read through my journal before asking her a few more questions?
"Tell me, why do you do so to learn such a spell as that even with the strange version of it that is quite hard to muster?" Speaking in a very ancient yet teasing tone, I knew she was not someone you could mess with and had probably quite an experience with communication among desperate men.
"I want to use that to help in my upcoming adventure to the caves up north-east, it was said that an orc lived there and I would like to take a chance to drown it in its weakness before I could finish it off," I explained a short version of my intentions as I notice her smiling and fondling her breasts, probably adjusting her rather a tight gown of a robe.
"Hmm, is that so? Quite an interesting idea. Usually if one wants a spell, it would be a scroll or some sort of verbal pass, but you, you made quite an easier version of it. You must have some experience with magic don't you?" She exclaims as she looks at me deeply through my eyes within my brains.
"I sense your aura is strong, your manliness thick. Even with that slim and fit tone of yours. That aside, I shall make up the potion that you so wish, but it comes with a price." She explains as she blows a playful gist of cold wind onto my face.
"How much?" I asked her as I look at her confidently. Knowing about her tricks, I had already come prepared with an anti-hypnotism barrier within my body which was undetectable even by the strongest mages. It was a form of forbidden technic which was formulated by Kisuen's ancestors and this time it will help.
"It's not how much, that you have to worry about but how willing you are to spend up to your savings." A little curious to see how selfish I may be, I shook my head slowly as I understood what she meant by that.
Reaching my back, I pulled out a bag of coins before walking towards her as I hand her gently the stack.
"Quite a brave boy you are, you must not be in any way fearful of me. You got guts." She complimented me as she pulls the string off the bag which locked it in place. Looking at the counts, she whispered a count of it before placing it by her bed.
Handing me one of her hands, she smiled as I helped her up from her sitting gently. "With that much money in one go, you aren't here for such a measly spell, aren't you?" She questions me as I finally got to the last step of my mission.
Nodding at her, I took a step back as I gave a wink to her back. "Glad you found out," I replied as I went back to my normal behaviour. "Also, you don't have to fake that form, I know your true age, Black Witch."
"My, my, quite assertive are you? You aren't here for a fight?" As her eyes glow, I noticed her hands sparking with electrical pulses. "Tell me who are you and why are you here?" Holding her defence, she stood and watched me close up and down.
"I am going to be a little forward with this but don't find it strange alright," I told her as she relaxes. "I swear I am not here for a fight nor threaten."
"Go ahead..." She replies as she stood still and watched my every move and fidget.
"My name is Ryuu Conundrum. I am an adventurer and an alchemist in the arts of time magic." A little altercation of my gizmo that I had.
"In the next five years, I would be married to you after some time contracted dating as I then grant you the power of immortality. Currently, you are in your sixteen by your semi-immortal magic and are only using a disguise to make yourself look older. I also know that you have a small mole by the tummy of yours and a birthmark at the nape of your neck, the shape of a serpent." As I explained those to her, she made a face of impressed looks as she rubs her tummy and nape in accordance.
"Hahaha, quite a smart one. It impressive to know about those little secret details of me that I dearly tried to hide from other people seeing. Tell me, other than one of my desires that you so call know about, what is the other thing that I would lovingly have?" She asks her next question as she started getting attracted to me. Closing near me with slow and predatory steps, she looks down at me as she smiles sweetly.
"That's simple really. You want the Crystal Ball of Hildegard that is hidden in the depths of the Treasury Room that is in the Secret Bunker of Yore's Castle." I replied as I smirk in a succession of my catch. Predator versus predator, the smarter one always wins the fight.
"Then, you are no joke." She replies as she sighs as she shakes her head and hugs me. "I guess I will let go of this form then."
Still latching onto me, she slowly decreases in height and age as he robes changed to a flowery yet thorny gown made of fresh red roses and other girly ornaments. Kissing me on the lips in a teasing fashion, she then leaps a step back before sitting on her bed once more. "Fine, I will help you with a spell, tell me what other things you want of me? You better not be some witch hunter manipulating me or trying to prey on my body."
"No no, it's nothing like that. I just want to make up a contract with you to help in my mission and also grant your wishes at the same time." As I told her that, she places her finger by her lips as she nods to herself as she was thinking.
"Hmm, I suppose that's fine. But what is this mission about to be such a fee?" Looking at the huge amount of gold coins resting in the bag, she then gazes back at me.
"I am going to help conquer Yore's castle for a neighbouring monster clan, they wish to seek control and force humans to live in co-existence with their kind, to teach them some respect and understand they mean no harm," I explained as she raises her eyebrow.
"A neighbouring monster clan, huh? I am surprised you, a human, are working alongside them especially when Yore recently started training monster-hunting squads. I suppose that's fine if I get my hand on the crustal and your so-called immortality spell. But if you want to do it peacefully, why go such lengths to employ a master of magical arts like me?"
Smirking, I shrug as I then look at another window. "Who knows, I could have employed some sellsword of a mage to do it for me but I was afraid they would try to backstab me or on the other hand, I had no choice but to rely on my so-called future wife to help me out instead."
"Future wife, you like saying that. How would I know that would work? I am still young and you seem pretty bold to make such an assumption." Hearing those sentences quite a few times, I gave the same reply that I always used time and time again.
"Simple, how would I not know about those little secrets of yours without playing around with your body during sexual acts." Teasing her back, she stayed quiet in shock as I let the words reach into the back of her head. Realising what I said made sense, she then blushes a little as she covers her face. "You idiot!"
"Got you, little snake," I whispered under my breath as I watch her through the reflection of the glass. "So deal?" I asked as I watched her calming herself down.
"Fine, it's a deal!" She shouts as she makes a small tantrum-like movement. "You better not act like this ever again, you hear me! Even...if we are...going to get married."
"Sure, sure. I get what you want, then we can have our ending happily ever after like every fairy tale." I exclaimed as I then turn towards her and reached to her with my hands.
With barely any seconds to react, I muttered a spell of contract as I pressed my index finger into her serpent birthmark. Pressing down her nape, she felt a cold shiver as a sharp feeling of heat reaches down her vein. "As the bind coils up among the two, we will then create a contract by there as partners hand on hand and blood. The spell of contraction, Aregallvo!"
In response, her eyes glowed a fiery red as she saw future sights of everything that will happen shortly of time. Reaching her free arm towards my cheek, she rose on tip-toes before kissing me fully on the lips deeply as she then let's go.
"By the contract, I shall follow by your side. Thick and thin and by death do us part, then our contract shall be dismissed."
Smiling to her back, I pat her head as her short and petite looks gave me a rather odd feeling in my heart. A rather guilty feeling due to the many laws I have learned back in my grade high school. Shivering on the inside, she tilts her head as she laughs softly. "You have a cute smile, Ryuu. Maybe we can be a little more than just friends soon if you so wish."
As I smiled at her, my vision went blurry as a hand wave in front of my face.
"Hello, hello? Ryuu... Darling, are you alright?" She asks as she rubs my face as I started feeling queasy.
"Oh no, I think the tea was too strong." She guiltily muttered as she reached to me for safety. Stumbling onto her laps, she rubbed my neatly combed hair, as she notices the watch I have on my wrist.
"I guess his mission is not to finish yet..." She sighs sadly as she watched me soundly sleep. "I guess a sleepover wouldn't be bad for now. Not like anyone would here anymore nowadays."
"Sleep, my love. Sleep." As she whispered into my ears, she hummed her favourite and familiar lullaby as commanded her flesh-golem to sit down and take a rest too. "We shall head back to business tomorrow."
