Chereads / Take Me With You, Lord Perdien / Chapter 4 - A Mission

Chapter 4 - A Mission

Ameri is still in the school corridor at this time. She poked his head in the window. She supported hee chin with both hands, resting on the window frame.

"Ah ... I really like this place. Everyone treats me like a princess. The boys are cute too. I really like all those young souls who look so fresh. They all seem to adore my beauty."

"That's the only bad taste of humans, Ameri!" Hector, who had returned to the form of a red-haired youth, answered. He crossed his arms as he stood leaning against the wall, just a few steps from Ameri.

"What the hell, Hector? You're so loud, huh?!" Americ growled. Her red irises stared intently at Hector, the crow.

"I'll show you that I can find a man cooler than Xafier. I'll take him to the Underworld and make Xafier jealous, hahahaha." Ameri's laughter sounded so terrible. A hurt girl who will find a replacement for the man of her dreams.

"There's no way you could, Ameri. There are indeed humans who accept your invitation to date, um? Even if you get a partner here, I'm not sure if Xafier will be as jealous as you expected."

Hector kept on mocking Ameri. Actually, he had a crush on Ameri. However, because Ameri's taste was the same as Xafier's, the Warlord of the Twining Clan, Hector stepped out slowly first.

"You're so noisy, Hector! I feel like breaking that beak of yours, you idiot!" Americ growled. She stomped her foot on the floor, annoyed. Walking with heavy strides toward Hector.

Ameri grabbed Hector's red hair viciously, without any significant resistance.

"You're such a pain in the ass, Damn Crow!" she growled.

After allowing Ameri to be satisfied with venting her anger on herself, Hector now held Ameri's hands which were still in his hair. Hector bent slightly to level his eyes with Ameri's.

"Ahahaha, I'm sorry Ameri! I didn't mean to insult you!"

"Then?"

"You are the most beautiful girl in the Underworld after the Demon Queen, of course a very small thing for you makes a human fall in love." Hector corrected his words.

Hearing that, Ameri's face felt hot. However, she hastily turned around, avoiding Hector's gaze. How could he be met just because of the praise of a crow, right? Ameri thought. She was beating himself on the forehead for acting embarrassingly in front of a servant crow.

Come to think of it, Hector's words had some truth in it. Ameri is one of the most beautiful Elite Succubus among other Succubus in the Twining Clan's territory, the Southern region of the Underworld.

Ameri walked down the hall to the rooftop.

"Ah, I can't wait for school to start again tomorrow. I have to find my prince soon. And I will love him to death," Ameri muttered as she spread her hands. After that, she embraced her own body. Imagine if she was hugging someone of her dreams.

Hector, who saw his friend's strange behavior, just shook his head. He followed Ameri's steps to the rooftop. They will return to the Underworld after this.

Even though it was in the Human World all day, but in the Underworld it might only be a few hours. So Hector wasn't too worried even if he left his job, for it was only a few hours.

Ameri has made her choice of heart. And she appointed ... as her prince.

"I should have started looking for my prince. My prince must be strong. Not too smart is also okay. Most importantly, the two must be able to protect me."

"Where is there something like that, Ameri? Since yesterday, you've always been talking like that. Even if there was, the human wouldn't necessarily want to be with you, would it?" It was Hector who answered Ameri's rant earlier.

They walked through the secret passages of the Twining Clan's castle, to the portal to the Human World.

"If I had chosen the man of my dreams, I would have ensnared him, Hector. Even if I had to use a 'seduction spell' though." Ameri responded. His long legs continued to walk down this dark alley.

"Hector?! Where are you, huh?!" This voice sounded so loud. Coming from behind the walls of this hallway.

"Shit! Xafier seems to be looking for me, Ameri." Hector said while banging his fist against the wall.

"It's all right, Hector. You come back! I'm going to the Human World alone. Haven't I been hunting alone all this time, um?" Ameri said. She smiled sweetly at Hector, making her eyes narrow. And that, added to Ameri's beauty, Hector thought.

"Okay, then I'm sorry, Ameri! I can't accompany you like usual."

After saying that, Hector turned around and left Ameri alone in the hall.

Ameri watched her friend leave, until Hector's back, which was already in the form of a young man, disappeared around the corner at the end of the hall.

Ameri took another step. She walked down this secret passage that was so lonely. Ah, Ameri remembers when an intruder came here a few months ago. And the intruder turned out to be with her Master Miryu, son of Prince Raizel, the eldest son of the Demon Queen.

After Raizel and Alsiel eft, Ameri never saw the warmth and laughter here. The two princes simply disappeared, as if they had never been born in this Castle.

Raizel had been to this castle once in a while. However, maybe only once a month. Sometimes never.

Ameri remembers how he used to be a weak ordinary demon. Little Ameri was found in a state of chaos in the forest of the Twining Clan's dominion. At that time, Ameri will fall prey to the wild monsters that guard the forest. Before the figure of a young man helped her. She is the figure of Alsiel, who became a savior for Ameri.

Ameri did not know the identity of the young man who saved her. Before Alsiel took Ameri to the castle and hired Ameri as a maid.

However, that incident was long gone. Since Alsiel was punished for conspiring with the enemy, Alsiel was expelled from this castle. And Ameri doesn't know anymore about Alsiel's whereabouts.

If Ameri still wants to live, she must not mention Alsiel's name again, in this Demon Queen's castle of the Twining Clan. Although curious about her savior, Ameri couldn't do much. Her life was only to devote herself to the Demon Queen alone.
