Chapter 7 - Two Heroes

As Vin and Gil pass behind the school, they hear a commotion.

"Akkhh ...!"

"You ugly! Flat chest!"

"Ugh...don't hurt me anymore, Big Brother!"

Vin and Gil flinched at the commotion. Vin who was curious, peeked behind the wall.

"What's all the fuss about, Gil?" Vin watched, followed by Gil who also peeked.

They both see their new friend, Ameri, being bullied by an upperclassman. Ameri's indigo hair, which was tied in two pigtails, was grabbed by the three upperclassmen viciously.

"Eh? What are they doing, Vin? They're bullying our friend, Vin. Let's help!" said Gil. He wants to act as a hero, but doesn't dare if Vin doesn't come with him this time.

"If possible, now is the time for you to act, Gil! Save our friend who is being bullied by that upperclassman!" Vin gave the command. Meanwhile, he is now sitting on his back, starting to eat his lunch. Vin didn't care about the commotion. The condition of the stomach for him is the most important.

Gil nodded and agreed to his friend's order. Vin is the most experienced in this kind of love. So, Gilmanut only when his friend told him to.

Gil took a deep breath first, before he drew closer to the commotion.

"Hey, what are you doing?! Stop saying!" said Gil, loudly. In fact, his body was shaking now because the three upperclassmen were staring intently at Gil.

"Noisy! Who are you, huh?! This little girl's friend, huh?!" snapped the shoulder-length haired upperclassman, at Gil.

"S-calm down, sis!" Gil said as he raised his hands, trying to stop.

"Who are you telling to calm down?! Can't see what we're busy with, huh?! Go away!!" shouted the upperclassman whose hair was in a single ponytail to the side.

Gil who was shouted at like that, immediately retreated slowly. However, Ameri was able to see Gil's good intentions just now.

Gil turns and runs off to where Vin is. Behind the wall, Vin had finished eating his lunch.

"Vin, it's bad! His classmate is really scary. I don't dare!" Gil fights with a voice gasping for air from running. Gil's eyes widened when he saw that Vin's lunchbox was clean. "Heh?! Why are you eating so fast, Vin? Could it be that you have a hole in your back, Vin?"

"Bolong your knee, Gil! I do eat fast. Don't you know how I eat all this time, huh?"

"Oh yes, I forgot. You eat it right away, you swallow it all without chewing it. Until you eat the plates too."

"Damn you, Gil! You think I'm a lumpy horse, huh?!"

"Not a lumping horse, Vin. But you are a braided horse."

"What's the difference, huh?!"

"Ah, forget that first, Vin! Now you help our classmate first. It's a pity that he has been harassed by upperclassmen."

"Well?! So what were you doing there, Gil? Didn't you want to help, huh?"

"Don't you dare, Vin. I just got closer, but I was yelled at by my seniors. Well, I'm back here. Asking for your help, I mean."

Hearing the narrative of his friend, Vin pursed his lips. Gil is a total coward in Vin's eyes. How could Gil prefer to run away than face the upperclassman?

Vin pushed Gil who was in front of him.

"Get out of the way! Taking care of that is not good enough for you, Gil. That's how you want to be a student at my teacher," Vin grumbled.

Vin swung his steps while putting his hands in his pants pockets. He walks coolly, imitating the style of his favorite artist. Actually, this is Alsiel's gait. However, because his father, Alsiel, often acts a little crazy, Vin claims he learned this way of walking from his favorite actor.

Vin took a deep breath when he saw the three older sisters who were still bullying their new classmate.

Vin put on a cold face. He has a side.

"Hey, stop! Or do you want me to call the teacher, huh?!" said Vin in a loud voice. His sharp eyes focused on the classmate who was actually beautiful. However, their behavior does not show their beauty at all.

"Uh... what the hell are you doing, kid? We're just playing around." The shoulder-length haired classmate replied. He flinched when he turned around and found Vin behind him. Vin is one of the popular students who is not only famous in his class, but popular among his seniors as well.

"Playing? You think I'm stupid, huh?!" Vin again said coldly.

The three upperclassmen immediately dispersed and left the school's backyard.

Behind him, Gil clapped. Complimenting how cool his best friend was. Gil should take note of this in case he comes across a similar situation someday.

Ameri is confident that he is currently being helped by someone. However, Ameri was still looking down, as if he was so devastated by the treatment of these humans.

After scolding the three upperclassmen, now Vin walked towards Ameri who was still sitting on the grassy ground. The new student looks so scared while hugging his knees.

Vin still crossed his arms and stared coldly at Ameri who was sitting on the ground.

"You idiot, huh?!"

Vin's sharp words, made Gil and Ameri gasp. Ameri immediately looked up and found the figure of a teenage boy in front of him. The student who had helped him earlier. The teenager's eyes looked familiar to Ameri.

Gil moved closer to Vin and whispered, "Vin? You didn't do anything wrong? Why are you talking about our classmates, um?"

Vin turned to Gil and showed a cold, scary look. It made Gil understand that his best friend didn't want to be bothered at this time.

Gil took a few steps back to dodge, before he was yelled at by his best friend. Vin is in ruthless mode, very scary in Gil's eyes.

Vin turned his attention back to Ameri. Who had been sitting on the grass ever since. Vin still crossed his arms and put on a cold face.

Maybe Ameri hoped someone would help him to his feet. However, unfortunately Vin and Gil are completely insensitive.

"You're looking for trouble with the three upperclassmen, aren't you? You're just starting school, you're already acting! Wear a uniform like you want! Bring crows to class. Is it hard to be a normal student? No wonder you were bullied by the upperclassmen." Vin said in an even tone. His facial expression was still as cold as before.
