After Cindy dropped me home, beat from my first day, the moment I entered, I dropped everything on the floor, and flopped into the armchair, resting my legs on the foot stool. I sighed and closed my eyes, relishing the warm undertones beneath the tranquil quality of the room.
Suddenly the door knocked, disrupting my cat-nap, my eyebrows flared, twitching in annoyance. I groaned, wearily pulling my body off the chair, with droopy shoulders, I dragged myself to the door; expecting one of those sloppy door-to-door salesman.
Before I could open and politely turn down whatever he was selling; recalling Dad's warning, I peeked through the hole. Noticing those fierce sword like brows toned with experience, I gasped. Taking a glance at my wristwatch, 'Yikes!! I totally forgot that he would be coming today!!'
