We stepped on the stage, taking our positions. It was definitely something life changing to be on a stage... is this what the King and the Queen felt? being surrounded by thousands... the feeling of importance, pride and honour of being in the spotlight!
Emma stood behind the keyboard. Haley and Dominique played the bass and the lead guitar.
Haley said "Solana, we start at three, do you remember the timings? three seconds after the piano plays, you start singing..."
I nodded my head, "Yes, I remember"
"Do you want the lyrics?" Dominique said, while plugging her guitar.
"Thanks, no worries I got it" I took the centre stage, holding the microphone. Taking a deep breath. I looked around and sweeping my gaze, I saw Aaron standing within the audience with two cups of juice in his hands, as he watched us.
I wonder if he can recognize me?
From afar, Aaron waved his hand, with a wide grin planted on his face. I smiled back, giggling under the mask.
