Kazein, was shocked, since he couldn't see. He had to rely on hearing and smell, but Alzak had no scent nor does he make sounds when he moves. Kazein was truly in a disadvantageous position. Suddenly, he was shot down to the ground, he coughed out a mouthful of blood, before he got back up. He was again pushed away by something unknown. After a while, the shoves turned into cuts, sharp skin deep ones. Kazein started to panick, he didn't know what to do, nor does he know where to go, until he gained composure and got back on his feet.
When he stood up, he made a quick draw stance. His form was sloppy, he was wobbling. But that was enough, by the time he made the draw, the sound of metal clanging to each other, rung through the air.
And Alzak appeared with a short sword in his hand, it was nearly the same as Kazein's, though shorter by ½ ft. Alzak laughed. "Hohoho! So the blind has proved himself to be able to see! Good! I'll be your master, you will train the "Unseen Deadly Blade" style under me!!! The sole survivor of these technique's!!!"
Kazein sighed a breath of release, when his wounds suddenly healed. Alzak felt the demonic fluctuations. "Ho? The blind is a demonic walker? Interesting young man!"
Kazein was nervous, whether the Alzak will kill him, or will leave him alone and not teach him. "So what are you gonna do? Alzak?" Kazein asked to confirm Alzak's intentions.
"Oh? You're wary about me? The blind does not see what he can't, they only see what they feel. I felt you have a deathly aura. I expected too highly of you, I thought the blind can see what he feels. Do you not feel me? I too, am the same." Alzak replied. "I contracted a wind spirit demon, that is why I learned the "Unseen Deadly Blade" sword style." Alzak laughed at Kazein.
"So that's what it was."
"Oh, so, did you see through the patterns of my attacks?" Alzak asked Kazein.
"Of course, I read the patterns, you'd strike from behind then push me from the right if I was standing. Or you beat me up to stand and then strike my stomach. I read quite the patterns and read the timing." Kazein explained how he managed to block that one hit from Alzak.
Alzak laughed and clapped at Kazein.
"Half right! You never considered if I were to party your draw and use it as foothold and strike from above! I could've done that if I wanted to! You are still blind to the path!" Alzak yelled at Kazein.
He then hit Kazein's head with his staff. Kazein dodged the first hit, then a second strike hit his leg, making him lose balance, then a third hit with a sword. Kazein felt that the air was different when he was hit with the staff. This time the air felt more like when he was hit with the sword. Kazein dodged the strike, when Alzak laughed.
"So, did you see it? Blind man?"
"Yeah, the air was different, you used a sword with that last strike, didn't you? To be exact, a longer sword than a while ago."
"Hohoho! The blind began to sprouts eyes! Lovely!" Alzak mocked him.
"My name is Kazein! Not blind!" Kazein was quite annoyed already.
Alzak just laughed. When he threw something to Kazein. Kazein, hearing the wind pressure seemed to be spinning, dodged what Alzak threw. "Are you trying to kill me?!" Kazein seemed nervous after two attempts on his life. Even though he was blind, he could still feel killing intents.
"Hohoho! I am not. Now, tell me, what did I throw?"
"Probably a spinning blade, or, a shuriken. Yes?" Kazein seemed quite confident.
"Good." And Alzak again made another killing attempt by throwing three shurikens and leaving no place for escape to Kazein. Kazein dodged right, then left, then he was suddenly thrown back down. The impact was strong enough to break the ground. Kazein stood back up, he drew his sword into the open. It shone under the sun, Alzak felt the holy aura within the sword and was distracted, he stopped by a rock. When suddenly Kazein appeared from behind him and made a sword strike, but Alzak block it with another sword 2 ft long.
Kazein clicked his tongue and backed off once more. "If I only got there faster." He thought to himself.
"Ho? You used the swords holy aura to distract me and get at me from behind? Good plan, however, if I felt the sword's aura, I know where you went to also because of the sword's aura. Naive fool." Alzak once again began to laugh.
Kazein thinker for himself while dodging Alzak's barrages. When Kazein could no longer think for himself, he drew out a small portion of the demon's powers, enough to at least sharpen his senses. And it did, Kazein could slightly feel where Alzak is and where he has been gaining foothold. Alzak felt the dark magic fluctuations.
"Oh? You're resorting to that already? Fine!!! I'll teach you how to use a true demonic contraction!" Then, the winds grew stronger, Kazein's senses were deceiving him, he couldn't tell where Alzak was. That was when he cut his arm and scattered blood around, the blood spun along with the wind and marked stuff in their way, a large amount of blood was caught in a figure, Kazein attacked it. Then, the winds stopped, but it wasn't because Kazein interrupted Alzak's wind contraction. It was because Alzak feigned his whereabouts and deceived Kazein's senses, buying enough time for him to prepare his attack. The violent winds gathered into his blade, and in one strike, hit Kazein's back, it was a clear hit. Kazein fell unconscious, the hit was so strong it destroyed tree's and rocks broke. Luckily, Alzak used the back of his sword to hit Kazein, if he had used the sharp edge, Kazein would have been cut into half. Alzak seemed quite surprised.
"Eh? Did I really use too much strength? I feel the tree's I've been planting were destroyed!!!" Alzak freaked out of his own power. "Oh boy, he's really broken. Even his back is. I bet he can't move when he wakes up, better get him to the healing springs." As Alzak dragged him off and once again, entered the cave.
