Luna and Noll made their way into Undine forest. While the forest was filled with people here and there attacking beetles, Luna was distributing her stat points silently. Well maybe not entirely quiet. She was now completely frustrated at the MP cost of her new skills. Even if all of her 40 points went into intelligence to increase her MP count. The only skill she could use is storm, which uses all of her MP at once.
It wasn't the best situation for Luna, because now she also needed to increase her strength to deal more damage with her skills. For the meantime, all of her points were invested into intelligence. Even if it was only one, there was always the possibility of death and a trump card is handy to have when in battle.
While on their walk, they found their first foe of the day. It was a long, transparent centipede with a green exoskeleton. It wasn't exactly pretty to look at, but every enemy in Undine forest is another type of insect. So even if people in Cerverstein wanted to level up somewhere else, they had to get through the swarm of insects first.
Luna knew this had to be some ploy by the game devs. 'I bet there's some player they're monitoring right now, that is just there for comic relief.' Luna thought aloud. 'I wish I could watch too...' Her sword was already drawn and she pointed it towards the centipede.
Activating her new skill, she yelled: "Storm!"
"....."
<….>
But nothing happened. Both her and Noll were silent. The centipede didn't exactly read the mood as it rushed towards Luna. "Noll! Why isn't it working?!"
"You know about skills and stuff, don't you? Why isn't it activating?!" A bite came from below, as Luna tried to dance her way around the centipede's mouth.
Luna sliced downwards, toward the centipede as it tried to get around her legs. But the hit wasn't strong enough and her sword bounced off it's exoskeleton. Thankfully that attack scared the centipede and it scattered away into a nearby bush. She sighed. "Yeah I remember that, it's what got me this class after all."
"...I don't get it" Noll was disappointed, but he already knew about Luna's stupidity. So he said it in a way that would make a bit more sense to her.
"You're kidding... right?" Luna asked in a serious tone.
Luna's expression improved as she realized that this was only a small setback. "Alright, just to avoid any problems. I think we should set a codeword for when I use the skill." Luna invited the idea of a codeword.
Noll suggested.
"Hmm I like it, but it's too long to say when in a fight." Luna tried thinking of something else to suggest. When Noll gave another suggestion.
A smile came upon her face. "Perfect" It was also a perfect time to try it out as well. As the centipede came back with two more friends. Luna readied her sword and charged towards them. Noll followed right behind her as she shouted: "Sleepless Storm!"
She lost control of her body as the skill took over. The sword swung upwards at an extreme speed cutting one the centipedes.

Another second later, the sword was brought down on top of the same centipede's head killing it.

There was still 8 more strikes to complete, but the two other centipedes realized what happened and moved, just barely dodging the 3rd strike. The sword traveled at an angled ark and sliced the centipede on her right, caving in it's exoskeleton.
[Critical hit! You have dealt 120 damage]
[Experience has been earned]
The final centipede tried to attack before Luna's sword could reach it. Luna was vulnerable due to the skill's long duration of 10 seconds. For what Luna learned, there wasn't a way to stop the skill, as it normally completed it's duration within 1 to 2 seconds during the attack. The centipede was able to reach and bite her left leg, dealing massive damage to her.
[You have received 18 damage]
Panic fell upon Luna. She only had two points of health left. It if bit her again then she would be sent right out of the game. Anger filled her and she was able to hit the centipede once with her skill.
[You have dealt 60 damage]
After stunning it, she missed her next two strikes, as the skill kept following through it's own motions and missing the target. The centipede was readying it's mandibles to chomp right through her. But, thankfully the 8th strike arched downwards and cut straight through the head of the centipede, killing it.

The final two strikes were carried out, and the skill ended. Luna's focus peaked for those 8 seconds. There were so many times she wanted to hit the centipede, but couldn't because of the skill's duration. But regardless of the damage she received, there was happiness felt from the new level ups. She split up the points immediately, putting 10 into intelligence, 5 into strength and 5 into stamina.
The next thing to do, which she had not known was in the game yesterday. Was to dismantle corpses for materials. Putting her hand on the corpses, a window appeared.
[Would you like to collect you rewards?]
"Yes" Her inventory now had a multitude of items that the centipedes dropped. Including some legs, mandibles, and exoskeleton shells. Now without any mana, there wasn't a way for her to use her skill like she did before. But Noll knew just the method to help her out. He was strangely quiet during the fight. Noll made a suggestion to Luna.
Luna took a second to think about it, but she trusted Noll enough to know he wasn't going to be wrong, so Luna agreed. "Alright, I'll sleep against that tree for now. Wake me up if anything happens." She leaned herself against a nearby tree and immediately dozed off. 5 seconds passed as Luna rested herself from battle.
"Huh!? What's going on?! Is an enemy attacking?!" Luna woke up and drew her sword, ready to fight.
"Oh... how long was I out for?" Luna asked.
"Five seconds!?" Luna was confused at Noll's response. "How is that even possible?!"
Luna was overwhelmed at how only five seconds passed and now her resources were full again. But what Luna wasn't aware of, was how the game was designed to be played by other users. It was designed so that when players slept in the game, they received double their regeneration rate for resources. If this system didn't exist, then there would be no need for a user to fall asleep in the game, potentially ruining their mental health.
Specific requirements were needed to sleep, but thanks to instant slumber, Luna didn't need to meet any of those. Her resource regeneration rate was also multiplied when she fell asleep, speeding up the already fast process. Now with more time on her hand, she set off into Undine forest to kill more bugs.

In another kingdom, not that far away from the Cerverstein territory. A man with pitch black hair was slaying skeleton after skeleton in an abandoned castle. If Luna had met the man now, then she would've immediately classified the guy as edgy.
His black blade created a streak as it easily smashed the skeleton's head in. He was alone, surrounded by hundreds of enemies. But there wasn't a single look of panic in his eyes as he shouted a skill. His sword jammed into the floor and an aura of darkness shot out in all directions. Sharp black tendrils emerged from the darkness and drained the skeletons of their souls.
After the fight, the young man spoke to someone. "Muramasa, it's only going to be a bit further now." The young man opened the large doorway in front of him. A large bedroom was revealed in front of his eyes. His eyes landed on the large, ravishing bed on the other side of the room. Once he reached the side of the bed, he found himself facing a corpse. The man on the bed was wearing bright golden orange armor. His hair was a dark orange and mimicked the movement of a flame as wind blew by.
"I've finally found you Anselme." The young man pulled open a quest window to check for the last time.

"I'll finally be the first legendary class user!" The young man said as he stabbed his sword into Anselme's chest. A burst of glowing golden energy filled the room. The young man's eyes started to glow an orange light. Then the room calmed down as the light went away. The youthful appearance of Anselme went away and his corpse started to deteriorate. All that was left was bone as the young man pulled his sword from Anselme's chest.
The young man's sword which previously glowed with a dark blue hue, now is brightening the room with beautiful flames.
[Your class has changed to Anselme's Descendant]
[World message: The second legendary class user has appeared in the world of Silver Skies!]
"What?! How is that even possible?!" There was never a message for the first legendary class user, but there was for the second? It was sadly a problem with the developers decision to keep Luna a secret. They didn't want a world message to go off until they had sorted out the problem on how Luna obtained her class. But when the system detected the second legendary class user, it was reported as usual.
This would go down as a bad moment for BDG devs.
