"Ahh, no!" The woman screamed in fear as the back of her head touched the ground.
His hand didn't stop. It was against her face, a centimeter away from grabbing it.
"What's this feeling of dread surrounding him?" She asked. She closed her eyes in fear. "Ha!" Her breath stopped as she felt a sudden cold touch on her shoulder. "Ahh!" She muffled her scream as she heard a voice.
"Are you okay?" She heard as she slowly opened her eyes to a softly smiling Hakai. "I'm sorry I scared you." He apologized as he crouched down to her with tears shimmering in his eyelashes.
"Ha?" The woman expressed confusion. "You're not going to hurt me?" She asked him with a terrified expression.
"Huh, why should I?" He asked her while displaying a confused expression.
"You're the God of Destruction, the one who will bend the High Heavens to his rule. After all, I thought you lost control." She explained to him while cautiously sitting up.
"Was, now I'm different." He ensured her as he helped her up. "Listen, run, and find shelter. I bet there are tons of survivors. Join up with them, and head to the main shrine." He said while he walked away from her. "Arm yourselves if need be." He instructed her with a determined look.
"I will, but-" She said while holding her hand close to her chest. "Where are you going, Lord Hakai." She asked him with genuine concern for his safety.
"Please, drop the lord." He informed her as he looked up into the vast sky. "I can't let the world Ama-chan poured her heart out to create just crumble." He said as his eyes glowed red. He took a stance, charging up, and channeling up as much energy as he could down to the base of his feet. He leaped into the vast dark sky. Covered in red, he instantly shot through the clouds. He was piercing through the sky several miles away. He began descending, but he again leaped, taking advantage of the built-up momentum.
"The City of Chiryō-yaku." He said to himself as a massive nation-like city came into view, lit by lights. It seemed lifeless. Sensing a significant den of a demonic presence, he dropped with force. Impacting the ground with a colossal force caused a massive shockwave that made a sixty-foot-deep and cleared a five hundred-foot radius of the surrounding area.
Motionless, he stood inside a deeper hole than the rest. After a few minutes, demons, monsters, and evil spirits encircled the spot, ready for battle. They all howled and roared in anger.
Zinng!
Countless low-level spirits began charging up negative energy balls. Then, demons of all types and low ranks started charging at Hakai. Weapons held high in the air, they charged with a roar.
Boof!
Multiple negative energy projectiles shot at him with great power.
Kaboom!
All shots toward him impacted his landing spot, and others hit the surrounding area.
As the demons made their way down the hole, they stopped running and waited for the cloud of dust to clear, only to find nothing there.
"Huh?" Some demons hummed with confusion.
"Above you." Said Hakai as his momentum took him down with force.
Boom!
He landed in the middle of the demons and on top of one. Looking down, he crushed his head and slowly lifted his head. Then, his eyes glowing red, he smiled wickedly and vanished from his spot. Slashing and slicing away at every enemy he came across. He stopped as he reached the last of the demon in the hole, crouched down, crossed his elbows, and stared in the direction of the evil spirits. "Here I come." He said while all the demons behind him fell into chunks and slices.
"Ugh!" The last demon expressed as he barely turned around to face Hakai's back. A piece of his face fell to the ground while still watching him. "What a power!" He said as his eye closed.
