"Found you!" Adrian stated as he used his aura to grab something.
The thing that he grabbed is something like an ominous marble that oozed a black smoke.
To the eye of the other's Adrian is holding a black marble but it is different for those who could see the spirits of the dead. Adrian is currently strangling the evil spirit, but it is struggling. If he does not trap it in the cursed item, then it might escape.
"Hand him the ring immediately!" Joe shouted and Sofia immediately went close to hand over the ring.
Sofia may not be able to see the evil spirit, but she can feel an unpleasant air when she got close. She wanted to vomit but she kept it in as she handed the ring to Adrian. The evil spirit started struggling even more upon seeing the cursed ring.
"Human…let us make a deal. I will leave you alone as long you set me free." The evil spirit pleaded.
"Oh! I did not think that the devil is shameless enough to even plead a human. I guess you are not the devil after all. Sorry but I need to do my entrance exam if I want to get a job. Someone's got to eat." Adrian stated as he jammed the evil spirit back to the ring.
A loud wail is heard before the evil spirit got inside the ring. Upon entering the old ring, it radiated an ominous aura. The evil spirit tried leaving the ring and jumping to another host. The evil spirit in the ring could not possess anyone that does not have tangible contact.
The evil spirit's choice could only be Adrian who is holding the ring. The evil spirit made the wrong choice. It immediately used its power to try and possess Adrian.

"This arrogant empath! I will make sure to always shower you with bad luck. I will make your life miserable. Who knew that he would left himself open after using his abilities? He must be tired from extracting me from that body. I was going to discard that meat sack anyway." The evil spirit stated as it managed to project itself unto Adrian's subconsciousness.
The evil spirit arrived at the subconsciousness which it greatly liked. The subconsciousness is where evil spirits feed as they feed on negative emotions. The evil spirit is overjoyed because there is a lot of negative emotions hidden inside Adrian's subconsciousness.
"Who knew that empath has juicy negative emotions! With this much negative emotion, I might even become a demon!" The evil spirit shouted with joy.
"I am sorry to burst your bubble but that does not how demons work. I should know as I led them for a few millennia." The golden Adrian stated as it showed itself to the evil spirit.
"I do not know if you are brave or foolish for attempting to possess my body. One of us is getting bored so maybe he can experiment on you. We have never had an evil spirit invade our subconsciousness before. They tend to avoid us due to our aura." The green Adrian stated with a smile.
"You think just because you can project your own will on your subconscious that I will back down! I will destroy you like I did with that woman!" The evil spirit warned as it attacked the golden Adrian.
Before the evil spirit could reach the golden Adrian, a hand that is pure darkness grabbed it by the neck. The evil spirit felt fear for the first time in its life as an evil spirit. The one who released it from the ruins it was buried told it that no one can stand before it, but that person was wrong.
"Enjoy your new toy! Although get information about the one who released it before breaking it." The green Adrian stated.

"Is he okay?" Whiz asked as Adrian suddenly fainted.
"He is fine. He is probably being invaded by the evil spirit right now." Joe replied but the others were shocked. Despite not liking him, they still did not feel that he should be possessed by the evil spirit. The last one possessed became a lifeless corpse.
"Will her really be fine? Should we go to a witch doctor or an exorcist?" Sofia asked as empaths as strong as Adrian were rare.
"Even if a god would have a difficult time taking control of his body." Joe stated but they did not totally believe him. The others only thought that Joe is telling them not to worry but he really meant it. He is more worried about the evil spirit than Adrian.
"I will put him in his room so everybody will get back to their duties. We do not know if another incident would occur. Those who are tired should rest as not being tin top form could become deadly." Joe stated as he brought Adrian to his room.

"Got any details from the evil spirit before it dispersed?" The green Adrian asked.
"Hmm…I peered into its memories, but it seems that whoever released it from its seal erased the memory of their face. The only thing that the evil spirit remembers is the one who released it was holding a book." The pitch-black Adrian replied.
"A book and a person that can erase memories of the spirit of the dead. Could he be a necromancer?" The golden Adrian muttered.
"That person could be a necromancer, but they could only raise the dead that have bodies. For someone to erase the memories of the dead, that book could possible be the Book of the Dead." The green Adrian speculated.
They know that necromancers can raise the dead and order them to do their bidding, but they cannot erase the memories of the dead. This is the reason why some of the risen dead would kill those that they have grievances when they are alive.
"If it is the Book of the Dead, what book is it? Depending on what version, it could become a headache." All the Adrian's stated simultaneously.
