Elsie had her hand in the blood rain and somehow the black blood made her feel uneasy. She like the others thought that the rain was a blessing from the gods but the blessings made her stomach fall. She tried to figure out about the mysterious rain but nothing came up from the books that she was reading.
There was no book in the library, she had all the female servants searching every book to see if she could track the roots of the mysterious rain. But all her fruits bore no fruit since there was nothing written about any black blood rain.
Esteban watched the rain from his room and wondered what the princess was up to. He reached his hand out to the rain and let it fall on his hand. He could hear whispers in the rain but not make out the exact words. He listened attentively to hear the words but the language was unfamiliar to him.
