Esteban and Elena sat with each other in the room. They were floating in their love forgetting everything else. It skipped their mind that there was a coronation ceremony that was going on. They didn't care about anything but each other at that moment.
"Promise me that I never have to worry about losing you," she said.
"I don't have to promise that because I will never leave you but if it gives you some peace of mind then I promise. I promise that you will never lose me to anyone."
"And if you break your promise?" she asked.
"Then you have every right to punish me however you see fit," he replied.
"If you ever betray my love in any way then I will switch my humanity off. Because I won't be able to bear the pain that it will cause me."

He stopped talking when they both heard a knock on the door. "Come in," Elena instructed at whoever was outside the door. Lady Lola came into the room with her head down.
