Elena, Lola, and Esteban walked towards the royal lake where the priest had arranged for a purification ceremony for Esteban. The three of them were all lost in their thoughts drowning in different worries. Esteban worried about Elena ever losing control and doing something that she would regret later. Lola worried about all the things she discovered of both Elena and Esteban. Elena on the other hand was worried about losing the only thing that she had left, Esteban.
She had a bad feeling about the look that Elsie had given her. Her instincts screamed at her warning her that something bad was going to happen. She felt that she was going to lose him and she wasn't ready to do that. He might have promised her that it will never happen but so far things that should never happen had happened right in front of her eyes and she was helpless to stop it.
