Esteban was troubled after hearing Elena's voice for so long. He tried to reach out and talk to Elena but it was futile. She was no longer with him and didn't reply to him either. He got up from his bed had the food the servants brought and went out to search for Elena.
He went to Elena's room to see if he could feel her presence like he did in his room.
