She was quite excited to say the least, and she was completely unable to hide it in the morning.
It had taken Almathea quite a few minutes to calm her down. Just the thought of it made Evy giddy once more. However, Almathea had passed out, and she did not know the reason why.
With that thought in mind, she turned to the boy she had found at the scene, shooting him a chilling glare. If anything happened to her Thea, even if he pleaded innocent, Evy would scratch his eyeballs out. The boy felt chills run down his spine, and a bead of sweat trickled down his chin.
"Young miss!" a voice called out.
Evy turned her eyes back forward, only to see Edwin running up to her. "Young miss," he called out once more. Ever since Maria had officially adopted them into her family tree, he had changed the way he had been addressing them, opting for a more formal way of addressing them.
"Edwin." Evy smiled.
