Timaeus' eyes widened slightly, as he stared at the alpha who was seated opposite him. In a surprised voice, he asked, "You'll … what?" He stared at her for a few minutes, completely taken aback.
"Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that that has never been done before?"
"The first interspecies pairing I have heard of is between a werewolf and a human. In that situation, the werewolf was male, so I doubt that there was much issue with the mate mark. I have not heard of a situation that is similar to our own." She shook her head.
"I see. What exactly is the use of a mate mark? I read somewhere that it forges a connection between the two parties. However, isn't the fact that we are mates already a forged connection."
