As Lashfen had promised Maria, he took the three children to the inn that they had been staying in previously. The owner of the inn agreed to give them back the money that was left over since they had only slept there for only one night.
After gathering the small number of things they owned, they went into the carriage that they had come with to the inn. Inside the carriage was Lashfen. He had changed his clothes before leaving the guild, into less conspicuous clothing. Still, he had worn his glasses. He looked quite dashing in commoner clothing, which was obviously because of the way he carried himself.
Once the three came back, he looked back from the sheet of paper he was looking at. "That was quick." He shuffled over into the carriage, leaving space for the three to enter and place their luggage.
