Albert was stunned by Momo's sudden decision! "Do you realize how dangerous that will be!? The north is filled with monsters. Never mind Yue, who is able to hold her own, and I do not mean to seem rude, but you do not look like you can kill even a single goblin! Just trying to get there could get you killed!"
Momo turned around, her eyes narrowing as she looked at Albert. "If you are so worried, then come with me and protect me. My Young Miss kept saying you are a good guy, then prove it!"
Albert was speechless. He really did not know how to answer that. If he went, he would be rejecting the kingdom he swore to protect. But if he did not, he would be sending a young woman to her death! If she died because he did not go with her to protect her, he would not be able to live with himself. Seeing those eyes filled with determination, Albert hung his head low and let out a sigh. "You and your master are both stubborn. You win. I will go with you and protect you."
Momo's eyes went wide with surprise, and her cheeks began to turn red. She pursed her lips and turned around as she mumbled: "Maybe Young Miss is right..." With a faint smile, she ran off to get prepared.

Yue was still traveling towards her destination. The night sky was starting to settle in, and she was currently out in an open field. She had left the main road to not be bothered by any knights of soldiers that might be trying to track her down. As she continued forward, staring up at the first stars of the night, a small little white bird landed on her shoulder and turned into the shape of Momo. "Young Miss, how dare you go off on an adventure without me!? If you are going to be banished, then so will I! My loyalty does not stand with your parents but with you and only with you. It is because of you that I am here today. So you just wait. I will meet you at the edge of the monster domain. You best come meet me, or I will make Sir Albert kill his way to you until I find you!
"But seriously, Young Miss…. Yue… Be careful and take care of yourself. We will meet soon. Sir Albert says we can leave in a week's time, so it will take me a while before I can head out. Because of some things, we ended up at his house to hide out while the knights are searching for me… Once we have everything prepared, we will be heading out. And… You were right, Sir Albert is a nice guy. Take care, Young Miss! Momo will see you soon."
As the mini Momo disappeared, Yue clenched her fists. She was angry. Angry because they were probably going to try to use Momo as a means to make her come back to receive punishment. Yue was sure her parents would also be notified soon. She hoped they would not get involved as well. "Those bastards better know where they stand. If they dare touch anyone I care about, I will leave the whole city in a sea of flames."
"Oh, big words for a little pup." A melodic voice suddenly filled Yue's ears, causing her to almost trip and fall. She quickly dodged to the side, pulling her magic pistol out of its holster, and turned around only to see a man with dragon wings and tail standing there in front of her. If Yue had to say one word to describe this man, it would be… 'Oh gods of creation, you have sinned and made a man too handsome to be real.' It was a long word… But the man in front of her, even at the age of fourteen, had Yue drooling.
"Little pup, if you drool any more, you may get dehydrated. " The man's lips curled up into a devilish smile, making Yue's heart beat so fast that she felt that it was about to jump out of her chest.
"Wait! Don't smile. My poor little heart can't take it." Yue waved her hands out in front of her and closed her eyes, not daring to look. "Umm… Handsome god-like man. Can I help you with something?"
"Not really. I was just on my way back to my homeland and spotted an interesting little pup, so I figured I would say hi." The handsome man replied.
Yue snuck a peek at him through the part between her eyelids and almost fell into another bout of drooling, causing her to quickly close her eyes again. "I see..." She was unsure of what to say next to the handsome man. But as she was lost in thought, she felt something grab her left hand and a ring being slipped onto her ring finger.
Up in the sky, the bird man that had been watching his lord do something out of character was frozen in place when he saw the black ring being slipped onto the wolf girl's finger. "Lord, that's…."
Yue, who had the ring suddenly placed on her finger, finally opened her eyes and looked at her hand. She then looked up at the handsome man with a questioning look. The handsome man smiled and said: "My name is Kai, remember it, little pup. This ring will come in handy in the future. If you drop some of your blood on it, it will bind to you and act as a small storage space. Just use some magic to access it. For now, I think there might be a few things inside that will come in handy on your travels. I will be off, little pup."
Before Yue could say a word of thanks or introduce herself, the handsome man named Kai disappeared. Yue looked at the ring on her finger and tilted her head to the side. She was curious as to what was inside. Unsure if the man was teasing her or not, she figured she could at least give it a try. She bit the tip of her finger and dripped a drop of blood on it. The ring glowed and form-fitted to her finger. It felt as if it had become part of her.
Up in the sky, Kai had re-appeared next to the bird man who was staring at him in utter shock. "My lord that…."
"Didn't you say that as the Demon Lord I needed to take a wife? So I took one. Although she is not old enough yet., an interesting pup will grow up to be more interesting right? The ring is just insurance to make sure she won't die. From here, how she grows is up to her."
