"This is the Scripturient's League gift?" Kim exclaimed with eyes gleamed. "Awesome"
I only stared at the gift and swipes on it, a watch. It's a watch that has a feature that every writer needs. It is projected in a hologram, projected for better view.
I read the other side of the hologram screen with the description of the surprise gift.
[ SCRIPTURIENT'S LEAGUE NOTIFICATION:

I took the watch on the hologram display.
"Is this a health bar?" Sasori asked as she projected the display on her watch. A heart icon with a number over the entire number.
"80/100?"
"But I'm not injured?"
"It's probably the health of your life," Quan Chi replied, eyes on the hologram screen where his health bar projected on the hologram screen.
"What do you mean?"
"Your life is based on your love of writing"
Sasori didn't reply, "How about you, guys? Can you project yours?"
As Kim and Jin Tofu project all their stats, they have the same health bar.
Kim Daiki's Health Bar: 70/100
Jin Tofu' Health Bar: 70/100
Quan Chi's Health Bar: 80/100
Alevtina_Sasori's Health Bar: 80/100
"Hey, XiaoCheng" Kim called out. They stare at me, waiting for me to project my stats. Embarrassed, I sighed as I saw mine.
"Why is it 16/100?"
"Why is your health bar that low?"
I didn't answer. I know why it's low, from almost submitting late chapters and the days where I'm unmotivated to write.
"Wait, let me read the information in regards to the health bar" Sasori said and click on the letter i icon on the upper right side of the display.
[ Scripturient's League Writer: Health Bar.
The heart icon is your health bar, this displays your love of writing. Below 10 of the health bar displays danger. This means that the writer is not qualified as a writer anymore. This could affect the writer's lifespan too.
Scriupturient's League Note: The Scripturient's League Editors have discussed that the standard deduction number of your lifespan is -20. This could apply if the writer fails to submit the task on the said deadline. ]
"What?! Lifespan?" Jin exclaimed. "We are not signing up for this shit"
"Calm down, Jin" Sasori said, calmly.
"How could you calm down when your life is on the line here in Scriupturient's League?"
"But there would be no problem if you still like to write even a bit" Sasori replied.
"But about the lifespan, that's kind of cruel" Kim commented.
"The Scripturient's League has a point, what's the point of a writer writing when he/she don't love to write anymore," Quan Chi said.
"So being here in Scripturient's League, your life depends on your writing"
Kim looked at me, "I'm worried about you, XiaoCheng"
"Anyway, let's read further," Sasori said and moved her eyes on the screen to read the rest of the description.
[Above 10 has a chance to revive. It can be revived through:
-writing that he/she enjoys
-writing it with his/her emotions
Note: Being complimented or receiving great reviews, the health bar is added by 30+]
"So, Xiaocheng just needs to write what he enjoys then and much better if someone complimented it? Well, I can compliment your concepts to let your hea-"
I cut Kim's sentence.
"No, I'll write and let someone else read it. It's not I don't want your help. I do want your help but I want to do this on my own. After all, being here in Scripturient's League is leveling up on your own"
"With the help of your teammates," Kim said with a smile. "Tell us if you need help"
"We got you, man!" Jin said. The four of them flashes me a smile. "So, on the WPM: you got 90 just like Jin" Sasori said as she saw my WPM.
"Mine was 60 and Quan Chi is 80 just like Kim's"
Sasori with a sad expression smiled, "So, mine is the lowest huh?"
"But how ironic that we are the Team Sloths but our WPM is above average" Quan Chi commented.
"Yeah, right"
"Maybe your WPM can be improved Sasori. I'll read an information about it" I said as I click on the i icon and read about the WPM.
[Scripturient's League Writer: WPM
The typewriter icon is your WPM/ Words per minute. This displays how fast you can type.
Below 50 displays danger. The writer could have a problem, catching up on the words being displayed as they compete with other writers.
Above 50 has a chance. This could be revived through:
-participating typing competition
- practicing your WPM on the Scripturient's League daily WPM games.
-playing typing games on the Scripturient's Arcade.
It is not mandatory however the things mentioned above could help you level up your WPM. ]
"But in the meantime, she can improve by daily WPM games in Scripturient's League. Do you guys participate in those?:
"Yeah, but I used it because I tend to get distracted when I'm writing. I used it so that I could improve my WPM so win-win"
"There is a creativity bar too. The information on the creativity bar includes logic, originality and inspiration" Kim said and click on the i icon of the creativity bar.
[Scripturient's League Writer: Creativity Bar
The pen icon is your creativity bar. This displays your creativity in your works. Logic, originality, inspiration, and ideas will be varied to every writer. The standard Scripturient's League creativity bar is not below 50. ]
As I look at my profile, my eyes landed on my rating. It's embarrassing that my teammates could see it but what would I expect? I'm in the low-rank writers. I looked at their holograms and my brows furrowed, I can't see their rating.
A ping was heard on our screens.
[Scripturient's District Map]
"Woah, they even sent us a map!" Kim exclaimed. Kim and the rest of us clicked on the notification and read the map.
