Mate to the Heartless Alpha
On a night so beautiful and calm, to the extent it was almost suspicious. A lady walked through a garden, it was called the garden of death due to the amount of bodies beneath it but all she could see was beauty and excellence.
She was adorned in exquisite scarlet garment, embodying timeless elegance, she took slow steps as her mind was heavy with thoughts.
'The Red moon is coming soon' she thought and sighed. For others this was a time to rejoice, as the new Alpha would be crowned. Her mate would become ruler.
She was to be brimming with excitement but her face was pale and she looked rather lost. Because for her this was the time she would be separated from her mate. She knew the ritual wouldn't be a success, she cursed the gods for giving her this power and the ability to see the future, which never failed to bring her sadness over and over.
'Lui Feng, I promise to return, so please hold on', she thought tears welling up in her eyes. Lui Feng would do well without her, at least she hoped he would.
He didn't.
He grew cold, numb and empty, day after day since her death. He had become detached to everything around him and locked away his emotions, the loss of his mate was too much pain to carry resulting in the loss of his sense of humanity.
Now she had been reincarnated as someone much different from who she used to be, would she be able to melt his cold heart and face the many tribulations ahead as another moon was coming? Or will this love story end as tragically as it was meant to?
