Chapter 33 - Chapter 29: Scripturient's Writers Ceremony (part 3)

A pop-up message appeared on the stadium's stage.

"It's about you, Fiery. It's a silent reader's question. "

[Chad: Hey, Fierylexander. I'm your silent reader since you wrote your first novel in Scripturient's League, "Inverted self" and I'm a fan. I'm inspired by your book entitled, "Fitness Battle". Who inspired you to write it? I haven't read from the Scripturient's League that talks about fitness much and I only seen and read fiction about sports that is only adapted. Did you know? I lost pounds because of your book]

"Wow" Karyle said after reading the message, "It's actually amazing how a writer can change the life of a person through their fictionally made characters"

"Yeah, after reading the message, I want to read Fiery's book. I want to lose weight without getting a coach" Shan Xiaolee commented and Fiery laughed.

"Thank you for that message, Chad. The inspiration of it is just like Shan Xiaolee. Before I started writing, I'm weighted as 200 lbs and my girlfriend wasn't impressed with how I looked. She told me that I should go to the gym, she left and dated a fitting guy. So I put all my frustrations into writing Fitness Battle and went to the gym to do exercise and be fit."

"Oh, Fierylexander is an inspiring writer" and Fierylexander chuckled.

"Okay, a question for both of you. What would you say to an underrated writer that thought they aren't good enough and likes to stop writing because they think no one is reading it?"

"Can I go first on this one?" Fierylexander asked Shan Xiaolee and Shan Xiaolee nodded.

"When no one is reading it, a writer would like to stop writing? I thought writing is like a medium of expressing themselves out and shouldn't be or couldn't be dictated by how many fans or readers they have got. What do you think writing is? A competition of who is the best? Well, some of us, particularly me is a competitive in writing that's just a way of motivating myself"

Shan Xiaolee nodded at Fierylexander's statement, I feel Fierylexander is reading me out, talking to me.

"Can I add on that statement? Because you got a point" Shan Xiaolee said.

Shan Xiaolee looked at the crowd, with her eyes speaking passion. "Your writing should never base on the numbers you have got. Find what's motivating you to write, it could be talking to your favorite writer or author. It could be imagining yourself signing your book with your fans lining up, it's the outcome that we are after. Eye on the prize, remember why you love writing and why you are writing."

"I would admit that I don't feel to write but I just sit my imagination and write if I like to. In a writing world, there are no rules" Shan Xiaolee paused.

"If your reason for writing is you want fame, then write. If your reason for writing is to let anyone know that you are a good writer, then write. If your reason for writing is to just express, then write. Just don't stop writing because no one is reading. Just write without any pressure, write without anyone dictating when and what you should write, you'll be amazed by yourself. If you don't stop writing, then you thank yourself." Shan Xiaolee smiled and she moved slowly from left to right motion with her finger pointed out on the stadium's crowd.

"And we don't know that one of you will be part of us or much higher than us in rankings of the Scripturient's League Writers" and the crowd cheered.

"I bet all of our Scripturient's Writer is inspired to write more" and both writers smiled.

"Okay, this is the last question for both of you" Karyle said and looked at the stadium's screen.

[What is your tip to the Scripturient's Writer as they enter a lot of competitions here in Scripturient's League?"

Fierylexander and Shan Xiaolee paused.

"Don't get discouraged or feel like you aren't the best writer. You, yourself is your competitor. That's all and good luck"

"I just have to say that let your imagination run, practice, and widen your concepts. Perseverance is a bonus but you don't have to push yourself too hard. You, as a writer are unique. All writers in Scripturient's League are unique. Good luck, Scripturient's Writers. May you all pass the competitions and level up to be one of us"

And a sudden blast of confetti and a party music mix is played.

"All Scripturient's Writers, you may now go to your respective building here in Scripturient's League District. All low, medium, and high ranks proceed to the respective tunnel. All high-ranking writers proceed to the red tunnel. All medium-ranking writers are on blue and low on yellow. " announce by Karyle.

And all writers stood up and went to their respective tunnels as Karyle and both writers vanished in glitch, transported.

"We will be sending all of your surprise gifts once you arrived at your respective building. Good luck to you all. "

"You know, as I heard the tips from the two writers, it makes me want to write all my story concepts now"

"Me too"

"Their advice, thoughts made me inspired. Fierylexander's words hit me. Shan Xiaolee's words are motivating, no wonder that they are one of the high ranking writers. Someday, I'm going to be like them"

I heard two writers chattering in front of me.

"Let's not try to deny but we all feel inspired and from the party mix music played on right now..." and Kim started doing funny dances. The music still plays as we went to our respective buildings.

Sasori laughed, "You probably go to a lot of house parties, Kim"

"I just like to kid around," Kim said and stopped dancing. "I like to listen to party mix music when I was 13"

As I listen to Kim, I looked ahead of me and saw Silvrich that is looking at me over his shoulder as his arms cling on Champ. He looked at me with a smile.

"I want to improve something on our one-shot entry"

"Oh, inspired from the two legendary writers?" Jin asked and yanked Kim, clinging his arms on him.

"Their tips made me want to write more"

"Indeed" On Shan Xiaolee's statement about writing, she is right that writing shouldn't be based on the number of fans or readers. I only smile on their comments.
