With a deep sigh, Leira was relieved that she had finally gotten inside her bedroom. She had been longing to be back here since the moment she woke up and stepped out of that door.
The whole day was a struggle of pretending to her. However, she was glad that she had survived that day. She met her fiance, but she didn't talk to him yet, nor convinced him not to marry her. She hasn't actually talked a lot since. He was talking more to her parents than to her.
Although, it's very much fine with her. Since she was also hesitant if she could actually convince him not to marry her, she looked so dashing that night that she even got hooked on her reflection in the mirror.
Leira was also glad that they hadn't talked too much about the wedding thingy. All they did last night was a simple introduction.
Denver was actually impressive. He survived and was successful in this world without a parent. However, his parents died, leaving him a business. They died when he hadn't even graduated med school, that he had to do everything simultaneously.
Studying, working at the hospital office as one of the board, and taking care of his younger sister. Until now, he was still studying for his second specialty course while being the president of the Griffin Hospital. Even with his young age, the board had trusted him to be in the highest position not only because his family got the majority share of the hospital. But also because he was worth it. He earned his license at the early age of 25.
Leira can't help but feel bad for him. She knew that her parents only wanted him for the possible share that her family can get, just because of business. That made her wonder why Denver was willing to accept to get married to her, for what purpose? He is one of the most eligible bachelors in the country. He is handsome and not to mention very rich. But why did he have to deal with and arrange marriage to the girl he didn't even know, which Leira was referring to herself?
This time, Leira had decided to take a shower before diving to bed. The truth was she can even endure her face full of mud than make-up. She didn't like how it felt on her face, and she felt heavy with it.
She surrendered to her bed smiling not because of what had happened that day but more because of what she was anticipating to happen the evening after that night. The first sorority party that she will be attending.

"Hey, Dennise? Do you want me to pick you up? I'm on my way to the party." While talking with Dennise on the speakerphone, Leira ignited her copper-colored convertible car. She took the roof off since the sky was clear, and she wanted to feel the cool evening breeze with Dennise if she would be her passenger that night.
However…
"You're planning to be driving home later? Why? Aren't you planning to get intoxicated?" Leira chuckles while her eyes are focused on the busy highway on her way to the Sorority house.
"Not, really. However, if that happens, I guess I just have to find someone to drive for me. By the way, I'll be going now. See you at the party BF.> Before Dennise had dropped the call, Leira heard the sound of her ignited engine from Leira's end.
However, that was not why Leira was smiling ear to ear after that phone conversation with Dennise. Her anticipation for that night gets way more exciting that she can even feel the beautiful thrill with the goosebumps of her skin. Dennise just called her bf. Even though she furrowed with that word, it made her utterly happy. She wondered if it meant boyfriend? Did Dennise feel Leira as someone like a boyfriend? And when she said that she would simply find someone to drive for her, Leira formed some harmless schemes inside her head.
If Dennise got really drunk then, she can drive home with her car and might even stay the night in her home. There's only one thing that she will have to do tonight, give all the shots to Dennise and none for herself.
Leira gets inside the room, darting her eyes on her friends. Even though the house was half full, she still had a hard time finding friends. Since most girls are wearing the same tiny dresses with the color black, they are told that the sorority color was black and being inside the sorority house, they should be in full blacks robes.
Leira was the only one who differed in their clothing styles since most girls exposed their legs. Most of them were wearing small dresses, skirts, or sexy shorts. However, Leira was wearing skinny jeans paired with bandage boots and a plain black crop top cotton shirt.
She only wore what's comfortable to her, especially when she was with her friends.
Not long after, she finally found the rest of her friends since she knew that Dinnese was still on her way.
Ella, Yden, and Zara are seriously talking with each other in one corner of the house. All of them looked stunning while sitting on the couch with a cup of wine in their hands.
"Hey, girls, did you just forget about me and enjoyed too much of the party?" Leira shoved herself between Ella and Zara, who eventually moved aside to give way for their friend.
"Thank God our school bus was here. Now I won't be worried about getting drunk because I'm sure Leira will send me home safely after the party. Right bestie?" Zara, brushed her cheek on Leira's face kiddingly.
That caused Leira to frown a bit. With Zara expecting her to send her home, then, what will happen with her plans with Dennise?
