As ray entered the kitchen, the monster who was on the other corner of the room charged straight at him
Without moving, ray watched as it got closer and closer, a trail of blood was being left on the ceiling as it moved and ray could see an aura around it, he was completely focused on it
Right as it was only a few feet away from ray on the ceiling, it jumped at him. while it was still in the air, Ray leapt to the side as fast as he could, and in that moment, An arrow came flying past
It wasn't like the weak stone arrows that the goblins used. It was a sharp, metal arrow.
Ray didn't know, where the bow and arrow came from, but he had an idea. It was a skill. Ray heard his sister saying 'materialise'. Just thinking about it made him nervous.
*Stab*
The arrow pierced straight into the back of the monster, while it was airborne.
"Kraaa!"
As it laid on the ground, It let out a quiet screech and the moment it did, Ray threw his knife straight at it
As those messages, played in his mind, ray quickly ran towards his sister
"Sis, pack your things as fast as you can, we're getting out of here, this area isn't safe. I'll check the other rooms." Said Ray as he rushed passed her
He picked up the hiking backpack which was outside the door on the way
"Alright" Said Tina as she followed behind
Tina also picked up hers which was right beside his
Ray used threw both of his knives, and his accuracy with it was a lot better than he expected. Or rather, recently his accuracy got a lot better in general. Did it have something to do with his skill analyse? Or was it just his stat points?
But even before the system came, he was a very accurate person, especially in games like dart. Just like his sister was in archery
"Is it in the blood?"
Ray wasn't sure, but one thing he was certain about, is that if he didn't get everything he needed as fast as he could, he'd die.
Although he was curious, he didn't check what his reward was. Instead ray just ran straight to the living room
"Analyse the room" Ray muttered
Ray and tina waited for a few moments until ray got the message
There were no signs of anything
[It'll be faster if I just analyse the whole house]
"Analyse the house" Ray muttered as he walked up the stairs
"Tch, too much to ask, huh?"
First it was tina's room, Ray analysed it and it came out safe. Tina entered her room and began packing her things and Ray checked the bathroom, his parents room and lastly his room.
"Everything clear..." Said Ray as he let out a sigh
Once he was in his room, He quickly took off his clothes. There was quite a lot of blood splattered on it, and it was definitely not something he could afford to walk around with, even if it was the end of the world.
"I'll need to disinfect this and properly bandage this..."
He looked over at the poorly bandaged wound as he put on a fresh new pants. There wasn't any blood coming out of the wound, but that wasn't always a good sign.
While remaining shirtless, he walked up to his wardrobe, and started putting clothes that he might need into the bag.
From winter clothes, to shorts which were easy to move in. He put anything he thought would be absolutely necessary in the bag. There was a limit to the stuff that he could carry and he really regretted it.
But he knew that if he managed to survive for long enough, these clothes would be the only set he'd have. After all, there's no way he'd be lucky enough to walk into a clothing shop
"Or at least, for now..." He muttered
When he got everything, he needed and had no more space for clothes, he looked over at the leftover clothes in the wardrobe
"I should've treasured you more..."
He then ran into the bathroom, and looked at his reflection in the mirror. His body was in a pretty good shape, but not ripped like his dad. While his face was the exact opposite, he looked horrible.
"I guess following dad's daily training routine helped out... Damn it, is it really a coincidence? Or is my dad just like any other? Either way..."
Although his face was horrible, his eyes were determined. He made up his mind
[No matter what... We're going to survive...] He thought to himself
