In a place where darkness, only prevails, that's what Adrianne saw as she slowly opened her eyes. Her body was tired and worn out. She didn't know how long has she slept, but the only thing on her mind was to know more about the location she's currently in.
Adrianne woke up and yet her head was aching so bad. She saw an unfamiliar place. A room that was secluded. There was only one window inside the whole place— the only source of light to enter the room.
Where am I? Adrianne asked herself. Even though she can't move her body, her eyes wandered around the room. Finding clues for possible answers to her question. She's not in the Academia, that's one thing she was sure of. The room was too old and small to be one.
Adrianne suddenly remembered what happened. She was on the verge of death, that's the last thing she remembered before she passed out. It looks like she's not dead, yet, since she was still breathing and her heart was still beating at the same time.
