Chapter 9 - Madness

Gin didn't expect at all that he would experience hell in another world. The guards did all kinds of torture to him and his mind broke down.

They scraped his skin, stabbed him, removed his nails, drowned him, poured boiling water, etc.

Stop!

It's painful!

I'm begging you!

They defiled him inside and outside of his body. At this moment, he just wanted to give up and due than experiencing this never-ending torture.

It was brutal.

He kept begging them to stop but they just continued to torture him without minding his words.

Who the hell said that those who transmigrated to another will live a happy life?

They were lying...

What he's experiencing right now was beyond his understanding.

It was at this moment that he missed earth... He missed everyone from earth. His fiancee, his friends, and his father. Even though he hates his father, he still wants to meet him. It was better than this cruel world.

He wanted to go back.

It was at this moment that he recalled why he wanted to prove another world or wanted to become a hunter.

It's for his sister...

Ten years ago, her sister vanished the moment the dungeons appeared in the world. Everyone thought that she died but he, who was beside her at that time, thinks different. He didn't saw her died nor got devoured by a monster. She just mysteriously vanished in the thin air.

He thought that she was transported to another world. That's why he wanted to become a hunter to find a way to see her. But considering this world, it's unlikely that a little girl like her will survive a cruel world like this one.

She was just a small girl with no powers or abilities. She was a prey in this world.

If his little sister was dead then... damn! Everything was in vain...

The two guards looked at Gin before they looked at each other.

"One month had passed and this man still hasn't said anything..."

"Maybe, he really doesn't know the common language."

"His mind broke down. We wouldn't get anything from him."

"Yeah, let's report it to the chief."

"This guy. We torture him every day until he's almost dead but he still hasn't told us anything and he kept speaking that unknown language of his... I think you are right. This guy didn't know the common language."

The two talked to each other for a while before one of them left the room to call the chief.

After a few minutes, the chief arrived and looked at Gin. He glanced at his subordinates and asked, "You're telling me that there's a high chance that this man isn't a spy."

"Yes, sir. We did all kinds of torture to him this month and the words that came out of his mouth were the unknown language. It seems that he really didn't know the common language and from his tone, he looks like he was begging." One of the guards said.

"We could feel the despair, grief, anguish, sorrow, and pain in his tone." The other one said.

"He broke down?" The chief guard asked as he looked at Gin from top to bottom.

"Yes, sir." The two guards answered at the same time in a polite tone.

The chief guard sighed and said, "Fine, dispose his body. Don't let anyone know about it."

"Yes, sir!"

He shook his head and quietly left the room. He went to check the other captives like Gin.

...

The two guards placed Gin inside a sack and quietly brought him outside of the village. They were careful so that no one would notice that there was a person inside the sack they were carrying.

After walking for a few minutes, they arrived on the outskirts of the forest. They were calm even though this forest was dangerous. It looks like this was not the first time they do this kind of thing.

The guards placed the sack on the ground.

"Let's kill him and bury him here." The other one said.

"Okay, let's dispose him." His comrade said.

Suddenly, they turned their head and saw a middle-aged man walking towards them.

The guards quickly stood up and pulled out their swords. They pointed it towards the middle-aged man and looked at him with a wary expression.

The middle-aged man smiled and said, "Let's put down our weapons. I mean no harm to any of you."

The two guards looked at each other and nodded. One of them asked, "What do you want?"

"Is that a person, right? I'm a slave trader so I want that person." The middle-aged man said what he wanted from the two. He raised two fingers and added, "20 copper coin for that person. A good deal isn't it?"

"Let us discuss this first." The guards said.

"Okay, I understand." The middle-aged man nodded. His deal wasn't bad. A broke person for 20 copper wasn't that bad but he has a plan to train this person and increased its price.

The two guards talked for a while before they accept the middle-aged man's condition.

But they have one condition...

"You will not bring that man inside the village. The chief will kill us if they saw that man."

The middle-aged man agreed to them. He will be leaving this village soon so he didn't have a problem with this condition.

After receiving the payment, the two guards left the sack to the slave traded. The slave trader sliced and clapped his hands.

Two people wearing black robes appeared behind him. They were his guards or should he say his slaves. He trained them to become a dare-to-die fighter for him. Both of them were at peak warrior level.

"We'll leave this village at night."

...

Later at night...

A caravan came out of the village. A bunch of people wearing collars was sitting inside it with lifeless eyes. All of them were slaves.

Gin was among them. He observed his surroundings and found that the people around him were the same as him.

The guards of the slave trader were also slaves like him but they were loyal to that man. Also, their power reached level 1.

He had a cold expression while looking at the slaves who were guarding this caravan. He wanted to vent out his anger to these people, no, to this world.

What did he do to suffer?

His rage was accumulating inside his body and he could hardly contain it.

"Hahahaha!" He laughed with a mad expression. He tried to stand up but he fell down because his feet were bound by chains.
