Gin spent most of his time trying to learn the language of this world. He wanted to be able to communicate with the slaves so he could give specific instructions and details to them.
The night was quiet as Lovi went back to their caravan to sleep. It was a good time to reconsider his plan in the future to destroy everyone. That was his plan and he wouldn't change it but how could he destroy kingdoms and countries of this world with his meager strength.
Sure, it was a good time but someone was disturbing him.
Gin frowned as he heard the loud voice of the driver.
"Don't touch my body, you fucking slaves! Don't sleep near me! I couldn't handle all of your smell!"
He just smirked and didn't try to stop the driver. He let him vent his frustration on the other slaves. It will provide him a good chance next time.
"Let's sleep..."
He closed his eyes and fell asleep but after one hour he woke up with a pale expression.
Huff... Huff...
Beads of sweat were forming on his forehead as his heavy breathing could be heard inside the caravan. This always happened to him.
He couldn't dream peacefully because of this nightmare. In his dream, the scene of him getting torture was repeating nonstop. His limbs were getting slice and attached together or those guards would remove his skin were all in this nightmare. Any kind of torture.
"Why...? Damn! This nightmare! This world!"
Gin gritted his teeth as anger was bursting out of his body. He wanted to get out and vent his anger to anyone out there.
"I should at least be allowed to dream peacefully in this world..."
His voice was hoarse as he felt his throat dried up. He looked at his side and found a bottle of water. He quickly grabbed it and chug it down.
Gulp!
After that, he sighed and looked outside with a blank expression.
What happened that month never stopped haunting him. The trauma that he experienced. He needed to overcome it.
He curled up at the corner as Gul entered the caravan and stood beside him. He could only feel safe when his units guard him like this otherwise he wouldn't be able to sleep peacefully.
...
Gin woke up before dawn. The slaves were already awake. They were trained to wake up before their master.
They already build fences around the [Foul Domain]. This place slowly became a proper territory.
His energy pool reached 14 and it was enough for him to build the [Curse Land]. He wouldn't go back to level 0 even if he built it so he was quite excited.
The [Flesh Tree] took 4 square meters of his territory leaving him 6 square meters. The [Curse Land] needed 5 square meters of his territory so he will have 1 square meter left.
He was standing in the center of his territory while the Gul and Ton stood beside him.
The slaves were outside of the territory wondering what he was going to do. They were curious about it.
"Let's start it." Gin muttered as he opened his arms widely and activated his ability.
He felt that he grew weaker as his energy pool decreased. It was an unpleasant feeling.
Ohm!
Everyone saw black energy oozed out of his body. The energy floated in the air before it seeped on the ground. Then, a black ball of energy formed in the center of the field.
[Curse Land] Production Time: 1 day
Gin saw a row of words in his vision. He had to wait for 1 day before he could see the effect of this [Curse Land]. Well, he had a lot of spare time so he didn't need to worry about it.
He turned his head towards the slaves and said, "Come here. I have something important to announce today."
He wondered if his words were right. He was still learning the language so he wasn't sure about his choice of words.
The slaves looked at each other before they decided to line up in front of him. They couldn't help but glance at the black ball of energy on the center. The energy made them uncomfortable.
Gin nodded when he saw them moved forward. It seems that they've understood his words.
He observed them for a few minutes before he opened his mouth and said, "Anyone who wanted to leave this place can go now. I will even remove the collar on your neck but if you don't want to leave this place. You will become the first citizen of the country that I will establish. You have to follow my words in exchange I will guarantee your protection."
His voice wasn't weak nor loud but it carried his determination and will to stand against the people that made him suffer.
Everyone understood his words and thought that he must be dreaming. He was insane from the beginning so they kind of expect this one. Well, they also heard from Lovi that Gin wanted to create a country.
When Gin saw that they were not responding, he spoke once again, "Don't be shy. You can raise your hand if you want to leave this place. Also if you don't want to become a citizen of my country but wanted to stay here, I suggest you to move out. I'm the one who created this place after all so my words matter."
At the end of his sentence, his tone changed and turned cold. Killing intent seeped out of his body and it seems to pierced everyone.
The slaves looked at each other wondering what their decision. Then, one person slowly raised a hand.
Hmm...?
Gin looked over and saw that it was the driver. He kinda expected it as the driver wasn't a slave from the beginning so he wanted to go back to his normal life. He was different from slaves that don't have a place to go back.
"M-Me... I want to leave and go back to the village." The driver said in a shaky tone afraid of upsetting Gin.
"Are you sure you want to leave?" Gin asked the driver.
"Y-Yes." The driver replied.
"Fine." Gin nodded and approached the driver. He took out the key and removed the collar of the driver. "It's finished, you can go now."
The driver repeatedly touched his neck now that the collar was gone. He always dreamed of removing this damned collar but now he was free.
"Yes, yes! I'm free!" The driver's voice was filled with excitement.
Gin squinted his eyes as he watched the driver walked out of the territory before he turned towards the rest. He smiled and asked, "Is there anyone who wanted to leave?"
The slaves shook their heads in response to his question. Some of them didn't have a place to return while the others weren't sure about the state of their home.
