I used my last bit of oxygen, escaping my enemies. In life there's always going to be a certain evil chasing you until you can't breathe anymore. It's up to you to keep going. This is not what came to my head. Like anyone else who'd be in this situation, I was scared and wanted to give up. Fortunately, as I was running, I furiously and unintentionally bumped into a guy with the most captivating eyes I've ever seen in my entire existence. THUD!
"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry. We have to go. Now!", I warn as I take his hand without question, but he forces my hand back a little. This was when I noticed the two guys standing behind him.
"Wait. What's going on? Are you okay?", the man asked with such sincerity.
"Listen", I take a breath trying to talk to the man while looking behind me to make sure the guys weren't there.
"I know you guys think I'm crazy, but tell me that later. There are bad men chasing me with weapons! No time to explain the rest!", I yelp with glistening tears in my brown eyes.
"Okay. Come on", he urgently grabs my hand and hurries down the street while the two other guys follow.
3 minutes later we round a corner and come to a stop. We all attempt to gasp for air. I look just around the corner to make sure that the bad men weren't coming after me anymore. To my relief, they weren't. I steadily turn towards the tall guy that assisted me in this deadly situation.
"Thank you so much.... Kim Hyun-ki", I thanked him by slightly bowing and wiping the tears from my petrified eyes.
"You're welcome lady with pinkish purplish hair", he jokes with the cutest laugh ever. I laugh and reply with....
"My name is MaeMae".
"Okay MaeMae. It seems like you recognized me", Hyun-ki scratches the back of his head.
"Yes well....I'm a huge fan of BSM and you so....", I grin putting my hands on my hips.
"That's nice to hear, and you're pretty calm around a celebrity that you're a big fan of", he admits with a big but nervous grin.
"I just know that you're an ordinary person who happens to be famous and has talent. You guys too", I talk to Ji-hoon and Joo-won in the back to let them know that I haven't forgotten about them. They react by giving a little wave as to say "hey".
"Do you have somewhere to go?", Hyun-ki asks as he considerately gives me his large jacket, since it started to rain. I brightly smile at him for his thoughtful gesture.
"Yes actually. I go to National Seoul University with my friend", I inform him while making his jacket feel more fitting on me.
"Could I give you a ride there? Our truck is at home, but our place is just down that street and then another", he guides his hand as he shows me where he lives.
"Since you're so considerate....why not?", I adjust the jacket for the last time.
With that, we walk towards his place. I get ahead of Ji-hoon, Joo-won, and Hyun-ki on our walk.
*Hyun-ki's point of view
She's unique. I wonder why she decided to move to South Korea, or did she grow up here? She obviously can speak the language right. That must've taken a while for her to learn.
*MaeMae's point of view
I always had this weird feeling walk, and it's hard to explain. I used to model when I was really young, and I got an opportunity to take it to the next level but I rejected it. I decided when I was 12 that I'd be a doctor and songwriter. People always judged me, because I've known what I wanted to do with my life at a young age. I was wiser than most, and some may have considered me smarter. That didn't matter. All that mattered to me was graduating from high school, by doing my best in all of my classes. Now I'm here in Seoul with famous people who just helped save me from racist murderers. That guy was trying way too hard to be racist. You know how some people just do it effortlessly? The point here is, because of Kim Hyun-ki....I feel as if this is my chance to live another day on Earth. I'll take advantage of it.
