Chapter 41 - New Hobby

As Aelia and Asher sat staring into each other's eyes, with their locked hands placed on Asher's chest, the atmosphere inside the car gradually turned a little heated.

Aelia felt her cheeks gradually warming up and her heart rate increased.

She quickly retrieved her hand from Asher's chest and said while lowering her head, "Alright! Whatever happens, we will fight together!"

Aelia looked up again and met Asher's gaze with a determined look on her face.

Seeing his Angel's eyes that were shining in determination, together with the light blush on her cheeks made Asher feel as if something was slowly tickling his heart.

Aelia saw Asher nod at her with a serious expression on his face and quickly start the car again.

The rest of the drive to the Romanov mansion was strangely silent.

Aelia felt a little uneasy at this. She tried to think hard if she had said something wrong, but nothing came to her mind.

Soon, the car reached the Romanov mansion.

However, it surprised Aelia when Asher drove the car straight to the underground garage, instead of stopping it in front of the doors of the mansion.

As Aelia turned her head to look at Asher with a questioning gaze, her eyes turned round in shock to see Asher quickly unbuckling both their seat belts and then press their faces close to each other.

Aelia felt her breath leaving in a rush as Asher grabbed her lean waist and pulled her towards himself.

Placing one hand around her waist, his other hand quickly tangled in her luscious golden locks and tugged her head back.

Without giving the surprised Aelia a chance to even open her mouth to protest, Asher swiftly locked his lips with her soft, smooth ones.

Aelia felt her heart hammering in her chest as Asher aggressively kissed her lips.

Her face was slowly turned a flaming red as she felt Asher pry her lips open with his tongue.

She placed her hands on Asher's chest and slowly clutched the front of his shirt as Asher teased and taunted the insides of her mouth with his tongue.

As their tongues tangled together, Aelia felt sparks zing through her veins and her body started to burn with increasing temperature.

As this was her first time to be kissed so passionately, soon her lungs felt short of breath.

Asher could feel his little Angel fidgeting a bit due to lack of breath, and he reluctantly withdrew from her lips.

Aelia's chest was heaving rapidly as she gulped in air and stared at Asher who looked back at her with a darkened gaze.

Her eyes trembled as Asher rubbed her lips that were a little swollen and red from kissing. He gently glided his fingers across her soft petal-like lips and whispered into her ear with a strained voice, "We should practise this more often, so that the next time we can continue longer!"

Seeing Aelia blush furiously after hearing his words, Asher chuckled.

He ran his fingers through her long silky hair and continued whispering into her ears that had turned as red as a tomato.

"And don't worry, my Angel, soon I'll definitely fulfil my earlier promise of finishing what you had previously started at your University."

Hearing the ambiguous tone in Asher's voice, Aelia blushed a pretty pink.

However, she was a little confused. Asher had just kissed her so passionately. Then what did he mean by fulfilling his earlier promise soon?

She looked at Asher with a curious gaze and hesitated if she should ask him to clarify this issue.

However, after thinking for a bit, she decided not to ask him anything after all.

Though she had yet to realize what Asher actually meant, she had a premonition in her heart that if she really asked her question, she might suffer a terrific attack by her shameless fiancé.

Aelia firmly reckoned, 'Yes, it's better to save myself before satisfying my curiosity!'

Seeing Aelia blush with an unfocused gaze and patting her chest in reassurance, Asher's lips turned into a smirk.

Asher's concentrated gaze soon broke Aelia's reverie.

She was surprised to see him inching his mouth close to hers.

Aelia was afraid that if she allowed him to continue, Asher might make them spend the entire afternoon inside the car.

She was about to stop him when a knock sounded on the tinted windows of the car.

Hearing the sudden knock, Aelia jolted in surprise and sat up straight after quickly patting her hair into its proper place.

She felt extremely embarrassed when she thought about how they were almost caught kissing by one of her family members.

Asher was thoroughly frustrated at being interrupted once again.

Despite his frustration, he could do nothing as he knew that his Angel would never continue their earlier actions with someone standing right by the window.

As Asher ran his hands through his hair in frustration, the knock sounded once again.

Aelia felt a little trepidation thinking about what she should reply if it was her father.

Asher finally collected himself and rolled down the windows.

Outside the car, Azrael stood with his hands folded across his chest, glaring at the window.

As he saw the window being finally rolled down, he gritted his teeth and gave Asher an accusatory glare.

"You scoun..."

Azrael almost called his superior a scoundrel, but stopped himself after thinking that it was not a good idea to call the Crown Prince as well as his future brother-in-law a scoundrel.

However, he still gave Asher a ferocious glare and accused, "Why we're you two sitting in the car for so long? What were you doing with my little sister?"

Asher languidly stared back at Azrael with an expression that seemed to say what else could they be doing other than what Azrael was thinking about.

Seeing this, Azrael really felt like hitting this shameless Crown Prince.

He roared, "My sister is not married to you yet!"

Asher smirked and after throwing a wink towards Aelia, he said in a thoughtful tone, "I know! That's why I've yet to fulfil my earlier promise to Angel!"

Hearing this, while Azrael frowned in confusion, Aelia finally understood what Asher had previously meant.

She glared at Asher with a profusely blushing face and quickly got out of the car, slamming the door behind her.

She felt like she might be teased to death by Asher's shameless thoughts.

Aelia wondered if it was alright for the Crown Prince of a country to be like this. She frowned thinking deeply about ways she could employ to restrain her future husband from acting so atrociously.

Seeing that her sister had gotten out of the car, Azrael threw a final warning glare at Asher and followed behind his sister.

While Aelia was thinking about ways to restrain her fiancé's shameless nature, Asher had come to a wonderful realization.

He had found his new hobby that he could never tire of.
