Narration by Ms Margaret Dracken
June 20, 1987
When we arrived in Paris, everybody was cheering; the bloody fang had arrived to a sea of French fans.
After selling out one of our shows, the five of us went to a fancy restaurant.
The owner greeted us.
"Bonjour," he said, "Bienvenue à l'hôtel! Nous sommes heureux de vous avoir avec nous ce soir."
"Merci," I said, "Ce serait une joie d'avoir votre nourriture.
The owner smiled and showed us to our table.
"What did he say?" Asked Elizabeth.
"He said welcome and that he was glad to have us. Then, I thanked him and told him it would be a joy to have his food.
"Wow," she said, "French is such a beautiful language."
"Yeah," said Felicia, "It really is."
"Went we live as long as we have then learning multiple languages is a breeze. I learned English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, and Russian. What about you Felicia? How many languages have you learned to speak in over the centuries?"
"Hmm," said Felicia, "Let's see. Well, I speak English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Japanese."
"Wow," said Elizabeth, "You are so talented."
After dinner, we went to a ballet performance at the Opera House.
"Wow," said Florence, "That was beautiful."
"Yeah," said Elizabeth, "I enjoyed it very much."
"Yes," said Felicia, "It was fantastic."
"Indeed," said Jessica, "I'm glad we came."
"Well," I said, "Now, we need to go to sleep. We shouldn't have our coffin out of the street somewhere."
We checked into a hotel room and put our coffin in the middle of the room.
"Goodnight," said Felicia, "Let's have a good sleep."
"Goodnight," we all said, "See you tomorrow."
We got into the coffin and closed the lid.
I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
At dusk, I woke up and opened the lid.
The others were still asleep.
I carefully moved aside and got out of the coffin as I heard someone scream.
"Aaaaaaaaah!"
"What the?"
The scream came from the lobby.
"What's going on?" Asked Florence.
"I don't know," I said, "Come on, let's check it out."
We went downstairs and saw a man in a trench coat standing over a body.
The man was holding a stake and a hammer.
The body had a hole in his chest.
"What's happening?" Asked Jessica.
"It's a vampire hunter," said Felicia, "He's killing a vampire."
The hunter looked up and saw us.
"You are next," he said, "We have finally found the bloody fang! Now, it's time for you to die. Charge!"
Just then, a dozen other hunters entered the lobby.
"Shit! Fall back!" Yelled Felicia.
We ran back to our room.
"Hurry," said Jessica, "Close the door."
Felicia slammed the door and locked it.
"We are not safe," said Florence, "We need to leave the city."
"There's a whole army of hunters down there," I said, "How are we going to escape?"
Suddenly the one of the window's broke.
The hunters were climbing in.
"Quick," I said, "Defend this room!"
My eyes turned blood red, as my teeth and fingernail grew.
I was preparing for battle.
Felicia howled as she and Elizabeth transformed into wolves.
Florence and Jessica became to vamp up.
The hunters came through the windows as a few pounded on the door.
"There they are!" Yelled the one of Hunters.
"Kill them!"
The hunter charged at us with their stakes.
Felicia bit and clawed the first hunter, he dropped his stake.
"Ahhhh!"
He screamed as Florence grabbed the stake and stabbed him in the chest.
"Aaaaaaaah!"
Florence kicked the hunter through the window and onto the streets below.
"Next!"
I charged at another hunter, he tried to stab me, but I blocked the blow and knocked him over.
"Ugh!"
He grunted as I pulled his head and twisted his neck.
Another hunter came in through the back window, he was holding a shotgun.
"Die," he yelled.
Bang!
Jessica jumped at the hunter, sinking her teeth into his throat.
"Ugh," he cried, "Help me!"
Jessica ripped the hunter's throat open, and his blood spilled all over the floor.
Jessica picked up the fallen shotgun and fired at another hunter.
I struggled with another hunter who came through the door, he was holding a sword.
"You are dead," he said.
I pushed him away and grabbed his arm, I snapped his wrist.
"Ahhh!"
The sword fell from his hand.
I punched him in the face and picked up the sword.
I stabbed him in the heart and kicked him through the window.
I turned and saw that the others were still fighting.
Felicia had bitten into one hunter who was holding a pistol.
"Get off me," he cried, "Ahhh!"
Jessica fired the shotgun, blasting another hunter's head off.
Florence jumped and sank her teeth into a hunter's throat.
"Aaaaaaah!"
Felicia tossed the pistol to Elizabeth.
Elizabeth opened fire and shot another hunter in the chest.
"Aaaaah!"
She fell to the ground, as her blood poured onto the floor.
Florence picked up the 22 caliber rifle from a fallen hunter.
She fired the rifle at another hunter.
"Nooooo!"
The hunter cried as the bullets hit him.
Jessica shot the final hunter in the head.
More hunters poured into our room.
"Shit! How many of you guys are there?"
Jessica searched the pockets of the dead hunter for shogun shells.
She loaded the shogun and fired at the approaching hunters.
"Ahhhh!"
I slashed the my sword at another coming in through the door.
"Aaaaaaah!"
His screams echoed in my ears as his body hit the floor.
Felicia picked up one of the hunters with her werewolf strength and threw him at another pack of hunters.
"Aaaaah!"
Then the attack stopped!
"Stop," yelled a hunter, "Fall back!"
I took a deep breath.
"They stopped. Why?"
Felicia and I went to the window.
The remaining hunters were running away.
"We have to get out of here," I said, "They are not going to stop until they find us."
"But where will we go?" Asked Jessica.
"Italy," I said, "We go to Venice."
"Alright," said Florence, "let's go."
"Hey," said Elizabeth, "Look outside, the cops are here. They must have heard the shots."
"We have to go now," said Felicia, "Let's not stick around."
We hurriedly packed our things and rolled out coffin out the door.
"Wait! Ladies!" Said one of the cops, "It's alright. The killers have fled. You are safe now. Please, tell us what happened here. What caused this massacre?"
"We don't know," I said, "These killers broke into our room and attacked us. It was self-defense. They called us vampires. I am not sure why."
"Vampires?" Asked the cop, "Those are just legends."
"Yes," said Felicia, "that's right. Those killers were insane."
"I see," said the cop, "Well, we are sorry about what happened. If you ladies will give us a statement, we will take care of everything."
