Narration by Ms Margaret Dracken
The years continued to fly by and eventually, the 19th century ended.
Felicia and myself decided to become traveling musicians.
We would go from town to town playing our guitars and singing.
The locals loved it.
April 15, 1912
We were at a pub in the small town of Hilderfield.
There was a small stage at the back of the pub.
I was playing my guitar and singing a song.
The people in the pub were having a great time.
After my song, I sat down at a table with Felicia.
"How was the song?"
"It was great! The people really liked it."
"That's good. Maybe we should stay here for a few days."
"That sounds like a good idea."
"Hey," said a man, "Are you two ladies staying here long?"
"We might be," said Felicia, "why?"
"I was just wondering if you'd like to join me and some friends for a game of poker."
"Poker? We would love to."
"Great," he said, "Follow me."
The man led us to a small room in the back of the pub.
There were four other men in the room.
"Ladies," he said, "Meet my friends. This is Bill, John, and Bob."
"Hi," we both said.
"And this is Tom."
Tom smiled at us.
"Nice to meet you," he said.
"Nice to meet you too," I replied.
"Alright," he said, "Let's get started."
The game was poker.
We all took turns playing cards.
"So," said the man who introduced himself as Tom, "What are your names?"
"I'm Margaret," I said, "and this is my sister, Felicia."
"Nice to meet you," he said.
"It's nice to meet you too," I said.
"Are you guys traveling?"
"Yes," I said, "we are. We like to go from town to town."
"Really," he said, "how long have you been doing that?"
"Oh, for a while," I said.
"Where did you two come from?"
"We come from the Delaware. We are traveling across the United States."
"Incredible, how long have you been traveling?"
"Oh," I said, "It's been a few years now."
"Really," he said, "what is your profession?"
"We are musicians," I said.
"Cut the cards."
The dealer cut the cards and handed them out.
I got a two, three, four, and a five.
"That's pretty good," I said.
"I hope so," said Tom, "I got a pair of queens."
"Damn," I said, "looks like you won the first round."
"Yeah," he said, "But this is only the beginning."
In the end, we ended up breaking even.
"Not bad," he said, "Maybe next time."
"Maybe," I said, "It was nice meeting you guys."
"Nice meeting you too," he said.
"Come on," I said, "let's go."
We left the pub and walked back to the inn.
"That was a nice game," said Felicia, "I had fun."
"Me too," I said, "Those guys were nice."
"Yeah," she said, "but I bet you'll never see them again."
"I don't know," I said, "maybe we'll meet them again someday."
"The sun will be coming up soon, let's go to bed. We can pull out tomorrow night."
"Yeah," she said, "come on, let's go."
We both climbed into the coffin and closed the lid.
Felicia rested her head on my chest and we both fell asleep.
The next night, we awoke to the sound of thunder.
"It's raining," I said as I left the room and went outside.
I stood in the rain and let the water wash over me.
I loved the rain.
It was very soothing.
I heard a noise behind me.
"Hey," said Felicia, "You're gonna get sick."
"I'm just testing the limitations of a vampire. It looks like running water doesn't effect me, at least not the heavy stuff. However, I don't know about stakes yet."
I looked down at a puddle and saw my reflection.
"Look," I said, "I'm not burning."
"I can see that," she said, "It's amazing. Please Margaret, come back in. Let's wait until the rain stops and then we can get going."
"Fine." I sighed.
"Margaret, I just don't want you to catch a cold."
"Alright, I'll come in. Just stop worrying."
I came back into the inn as Felicia wrapped her arms around me.
"You're soaked," she said as she gave me a kiss.
"Please, not here. We're pretending to be sisters, remember?"
"Sorry," she said, "I forgot. You're the only person left I care about. I'm afraid of losing you."
"You're not going to lose me," I said, "I promise. Come on, let's go back to our room."
"Okay," she said.
We went back to our room and we both got undressed.
"Hey," she said, "Let's take a shower."
"Yeah," I said, "Okay."
We took a shower together.
I washed Felicia's hair and she washed mine.
"Your hair is so soft," she said.
"So is yours," I said.
I felt Felicia's hands squeezing my breasts.
"Oh," I moaned.
"You like that?"
"Yes," I said.
"Me too," she said.
Felicia kissed my lips.
I kissed her back.
Our tongues intertwined.
She moaned.
I moaned.
We stopped kissing and looked at each other.
"You're so beautiful," I said.
"Not as beautiful as you are. I love you. You make me so happy. Even though you're a vampire and I'm a werewolf, you still care for me and love me. You always treat me like an equal, not like some pet. I feel the same way about you. I would do anything for you, no matter what the cost. I am not scared to die for you. You are my soul mate. My one true love. You are my everything. Please, always remember that I will love you until the end of time."
A few months later while camping outside, we found out something else about werewolves.
It was a full moon that night.
I thought only stress can trigger a change and that the full moon part of only a legend.
I was wrong, Felicia made the wolf transformation right in front of me.
As the transformation completed, she howled at the moon.
Fortunately she did not attack me.
"I'm sorry Margaret, I don't know what happened."
I never in my wildest dreams ever felt that I would be talking to a person who had the head of a wolf.
"Felicia, it must have been the moon. How do you feel? Are you angry? Are you hungry?"
"No, just itchy. I can't scratch my own fur. Do you mind helping me with that, dear? Please, hurry. It is so itchy. Please help me, baby."
I couldn't resist, Felicia looked so cute.
I got on the floor and started scratching her back.
She rolled onto her back, and I scratched her belly.
She was purring like a cat.
"Oh yes! That's it! Right there, baby! Right there! Yes, baby, that feels so good! Don't stop! Oh yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, oh my god! YES!"
Eventually, the scratching became a caress and Felicia's wolf form was no longer uncomfortable.
I could not believe that her fur was actually soft, and she felt warm.
The fur also felt nice under my hands.
I began to caress her ears and the back of her neck.
"Oh," Felicia moaned, "That feels good."
"Well it looks like the full moon just triggered automatic transformation, and not the stress part. I am guessing that once the sun comes up then it will go away. You should go to sleep, darling."
"Yes," said Felicia, "Let's go to sleep."
Felicia crawled into the coffin.
I crawled in after her and we both went to sleep.
I felt like a was snuggling with an oversized dog.
