The cold night air is not calm today I can only hear the wolves' growls. As I'm surrounded by more than a dozen wolves and coming towards us another wave of wolves and this one is led by a group of eight level two wolves .

Now the wolves passed by me and Rafaela didn't try to attack the sides they had a different target they went directly to the other end of the group but they were interrupted by the earth wall that came in their way the three level two wolves crashed into them the two wolves on my side were hit by Raziel he managed to mow one of them and the other one I had superficially wounded he used his sword directly on his wound I was surprised Raziel managed to cut the wolf's paw. Looks like I wasn't the only one who got a new blade .
Eat the death of two wolves and with the addition of a blind wolf the group of level two had a very bad initiative I expected more from them mainly from their leader I was very suspicious that he was special if he had nothing different about him how did he get it -the cause the strength of the pack to rise as much in such a short time interval.

With the death of so many level two wolves we only took another fifteen minutes killing wolves the number of them plummeted in that time before realizing we had already killed more than half of the wolves when there were only two level two wolves left and one of them was partially sego they fled leading more than a dozen level one wolves . Hilda killed the sego wolf when he tried to escape she impaled him with her spear.
With the escape of the wolves that were still alive and without many injuries, our mission of stermini was more or less complete. It would be a waste of time to chase the wolves and as Vania is more concerned with escorting the villagers to a new village.
When I looked at the rest of the group, I realized that Sten had been wounded by one of the wolves, his arm holding the shield was ripped open from a wolf's bite. The rest of the group only had scratches and superficial bruises until the moment I saw David drop his shield it felt like he had cracked the bone in his arm and fingers. It seems that the pack of wolves was too strong for him to warm with just his aura.
As half of the group and I started to collect our remains Ingredi and Isis started to treat David's wounds and Sten I wonder how long it takes for David to recover I doubt that healing his bone will be quick Sten's wound and wire can get infected if not treated right anymore and quick to fix with the right medicine the torn flesh will recover quickly at most it will be scarred .
Over time the corpses were looted and moved to processing the villagers began to do after we pulled them out of the hole we had put them in before. While they were doing that I've already started to prepare dinner as it seems there isn't even a cook in this entire group. With the flesh of dead wolves the food problem was solved by the time the meat will not be good for much longer gives to use them for a few days and dry a part of it as we make our way to the village.
Even with our victory I didn't see much happiness in the people around me even with the prospect of a wolf meat barbecue the mood was still bleak. I can easily understand the negative mood of the villagers who are saying goodbye to their house, but the lack of happiness of my new companions is unnerving only Hilda and Raziel seem to be in a good mood besides me, Hilda is happy that Ingredi is well and Raziel probably he is glad not to have been bitten by even one of the wolves.
With the death of our biggest problem, the rest of the group must face the unfortunate reality that we still have a long way to go before we can go back home. The weather shouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the lack of remuneration for this mission I'm afraid let someone talk or do something stupid for being in a bad mood because for me the only reason we are in this situation is because of Vania's attitude she is a noble warrior who sees a value in protecting the villagers and refusing their money.
I doubt it's the first time she's done this but I don't know if the rest of her team is used to it if they're not very close I believe this trip will be complicated.
