Chapter 3 - A land Of magic

I felt the world shift around me as I passed through the barrier of Platform 9 ¾.

Flashback 1 Week Ago

"Father, why do we have to go to the muggle side of London to go to Platform 9 ¾? Why can't we take the floo or apparate?" I questioned in an annoyed tone learning that we had to travel through muggle London, knowing that there was a hygiene problem in the early 20th century due to lack of education.

"Well, due to the large scale teleportation array built around the platform and the fact that there is no assigned apparating point. Moreover, there will be too many people on the platform, making it impossible to find a place where it would be suitable to apparate without causing an accident. Also, an apparating point would not reduce the difficulty in apparating. Due to spatial distortions throughout the platform, it is impossible to sidelong apparate someone safely. Thus meaning we have to traverse through muggle London", my father replied with an amused smirk knowing that I hate uncleanliness.

Back to the present

I walked past large congregations of people and got straight onto the train because my family and I had already said our farewells before exiting our magical carriage. Speaking of our magical carriage, it was terrific; imagine a mansion on wheels driven by Abraxans (that were masked using runes on their harnesses to look 'mundane' to muggles).

I got onto one of the train carriages higher up the train since they looked better and subsequently sat in an empty compartment. They mainly were all empty as I was pretty early, and many people had yet to board the train as it was 10:30 and were saying their farewells on the platform.

Although I would rather spend my time alone than with some other kids of my age range, I decided not to opt to set an aversion ward around the perimeter of my compartment; this was due to a sudden recommendation from my AI. It reminded me that it would be easier to make connections with fellow witches and wizards without the ever-present house bias. So I added an attraction ward keyed to those aged 11 and an ignorance ward to those above 11.

'Time to start building my minions *ahem* connections', I schemed.

Around ten minutes later, I heard a knocking sound coming from the door; I saw two young boys, one with long straight platinum blond locks cascading down his shoulders and the other with dark brown hair neatly parted down the middle.

The taller blond boy spoke with caution with what seemed to be laced with excitement. "Good morning, I am Septimus Malfoy, and this is Horace Slughorn. Please, to make your acquaintance, we were wondering whether or not you would mind us accompanying you to Hogwarts in this compartment".

I replied in a somewhat enthusiastic tone, "Sure, come in, I am Arcturus Sirius Black, please to make your acquaintance as I offered a hand for them to shake. Whilst using my left hand to adeptly levitate their luggage on to the overhead baggage racks.

"Amazing, you can do wandless magic. I heard that only people with strong magic cores can do that from father", burst out Horace excitedly.

8 hours later at Hogsmeade

Arcturus, Horace and Septimus were led onto a boat by the resident gamekeeper, a strong, burly man, across the Black Lake to where stood a tall thin jovial looking man on the docks where we disembarked the boats.

"Welcome to Hogwarts. I am the resident charms master. You may call me Professor Richards. In a few moments, you will be sorted into houses where you would spend the rest of your tenure at Hogwarts, places where you can make lifelong friends and lifelong rivals", the Charms master spoke passionately.

As we entered the antechamber, we were left alone for approximately 3 minutes, where I got to meet my finance Mellanie Macmillan, a beautiful blond girl. According to the suitability test based on our souls and our magic, she was the closest match with me, and subsequently, there was a marriage contraction signed and filed. The fact that our match was as close to as perfect as it can get for a marriage partner, I was not disappointed with the result; so despite not having a choice in who I was going to marry, I knew that our marriage would be a happy one.

'Well, it turns out a hat that can pretty much break into the most impenetrable minds cannot beat an AI, so my secrets were safe', I thought to myself as I walked over gracefully to the Slytherin table.

Apologies for the delays. I was just lazy and did not know what to write.
