Won held his head with his hand. His eyes looking at the letter in front of him. A smirk appeared on his lips.
"It's almost a cliche. Yet I also similarly broke down in rage. Ai, aren't I just defaming myself. What a sad life. Now who should win? The nobles? The rebels? The king? Which is the most suitable for my will to be enacted? Haha. It's so fun!"
Won meditated on everything he knew.
"If the rebels won it would be harder for a power dynamic to be properly formed. Furthermore the other kingdoms, if not the Empire itself will act. They won't let such a variable exist. The nobles, no with how hungry they are there won't be much worth in keeping them alive. It's best to eradicate that bunch, but those slimy bastards won't make any real moves. At most they'll spend a bit of money on getting some mercenaries. I need to do something to force them out. The king, no way. He's most probably deranged now. Even my spy in the palace hasn't responded. It's safe to assume the King had draped the Palace in blood. Even if I control him, he's too much of a character. King's are like that, they'll become monsters and become so easily to control. Yet if they learn they're being controlled their arrogance will make them act the hero. So what to do... How can I get the most out of these people."
Won laid on the ground in deep thought. Casually thinking about tens of thousands of lives being thrown away, it was rather frightening.
Won sighed as he said, "Come out."
A girl in a dress walked out, a bright smile.
Won looked on indifferently and asked, "Why?"
The girl walked closer, "Can we do it? I want it."
She got close and then wrapped her arms around Won's back.
Won asked, "Why are you betraying me? Money, family, power?"
Won said as a needle in between his teeth landed on her throat.
Won looked coldly as if a snake.
The girl said, "What do you..."
She suddenly collapsed and died instantly, the poison tipped needle instantly killing her. A knife hidden in her sleeve rolled out.
Won leaned on the wall and lamented saying in an impassive voice, "That's the fifth one. Really the first one was a surprise, but at this point it's just rude. I mean I made love with these girls, to think they're honey-traps. Really this is making me doubt true love. I mean atleast conceal your intentions, it was clear as day."
Won was given a headache, "Ai. These bastard nobles tempting my women! I'll definitely make sure they suffer!"
Won didn't really care that much, to him this was just a trial. He messed around with countless women for the trial, and he held no affection for them because it was also a trial. Yet being tossed away for rewards and other things really was a sour feeling.
Won put his hand on the dead body and used fire magic to burn it into ash. He put his hands together and said, "Thank you for being with me for as long as you did. I hope in your next life you have eternal happiness and bliss, with a good man."
Won stood up and walked away, "On nights like this you should drink wine."
...
Upon a valley a large group marched. Raised upon the men's shoulders was flags, which had a large winged bird flying in the endless horizon unchained and without worry.
The men exuded a dangerous aura, which physically manifested as a red aura that climbed to the sky. Their thick and large bodies, crisscrossed with scars. Their aura of a killer.
They rode in front of the rest of the group, who had less of an impact with smaller bodies, and weaker auras.
The one leading this was a old man, with a long grey beard and his hair covered by a bandana. He rode upon a horse, as he intermittently looked towards the sky as if waiting for something.
As if having reached that moment, he raised his hand. Everyone stopped and silence descended.
He moved his hand left and right and half the group split and began to make preparations.
He took out a map and said, "According to the Heaven and Earth Diviner great change is coming, the king shall die. He has said that the seven tilt of the sun, and the fourth curve of the wind is when there is chance."
A man who seemed to be the leaders assistant said, "Great lord, are you sure we can trust the Diviner? He is supposed to be a part of the royal family."
The Leader laughed, "Due to the recent push for orthodox religion, the king had made great restrictions to the Shamans and Diviners. The Heaven and Earth Diviner especially feels wrathful, considering his son was recently killed by the king."
The man nodded.
The leader added, "Furthermore don't think too much. Whether his words are false or not. This place is fitting to be a Kings grave."
The subordinate nodded, "The faction leader is great!"
The Leader laughed, "It's simply the happenings of fate. Yet our plans have escalated rather fast, yet nothing seems to be interfering with us. It's as if a secretive force has everyone, me, the nobles and the king in its hand."
The subordinate replied, "It is simply the Heavens, faction leader Robert."
The leader nodded, yet not quite yet content.
...
Opposite to this group walking steadily was a group of men and women dressed in silver, and with a noble aura shooting like daggers to the sky.
Atop a grand stadium carried on the backs of crawling servants, was a man with his golden hair unkept as he feasted on grapes.
The King.
Today would be the day where blood would color the world.
Yet none of these forces knew that in the shadows laid a treacherous demon with a curved smirk
...
The leader of the rebellion Robert, a mysterious man with a great deal of insight into the ways of royalty. Able to decipher their intentions and actions easily. He is a impressive strategist, who is known to believe in the will of Heaven. He is known to use every advantage possible to his benefits.
Julius Gracia, a man of noble character. Although not the most impressive of the princes of his time, through blood and bones he made his way to sit on the throne. He had acquired the title 'Snake like dragon' from the Emperor. A man known to keep his intentions deeply hidden, perhaps even from himself. Who is as mysterious and dangerous as a snake, and as prideful and powerful as a Dragon.
These two heros of the generation faced each other, to make their desire known throughout the world. To carve their names in the Seven Heavens or fall to the deepest hell. Even if blood were to rain as if the world was crying, one of these legendary figures would win and the other would lose.
Freedom vs Royalty.
Robert retrieved his sword from his sheathe, he raised it high as he glared at Julius.
He loudly roared, "King know to kneel!"
"King know to kneel!"
"King know to kneel!"
Julius laughed as he drank a cup of wine, "To incite that Old tale here. How pathetic of you. Yet how similar. Similar to a story, your will is but a mere fabrication. A false hope! servants shall remains servants, dogs shall remain dogs."
King know to kneel.
A tale of a foolish king who as a child brutally abused a young scholar. Years later that Young scholar had become a great figure. Leading numerous Martial artists, his words were like Midas touch. Yet when the foolish kings kingdom was in tragedy due to Heavens wrath and the foolish kings will, the king was told to seek the young scholar for assistance. Aiming on his duty and patriotism. They were in luck considered the young scholar would do as they wanted, if the king kneeled and apologized. Yet the King spat insults instead. The Kingdom went to ruin without the young scholars assistance, ravaged by greed, nature and discord. The King finally was made to kneel as all those who remained chanted "King know to kneel" as he was being executed.
Julius threw his cup to the side, it splintered and with that the battle started.
At first the sounds of swords clashing wasn't loud, but soon it morphed into a cacophony that buzzed the ears deafening many.
Robert waved his hand and commanded, "Unleash the shamanic talismans and the siege weapons."
Following his orders men and women who had hidden on the walls of the valley quickly showed themselves, the women wore white dresses and half began to ring bells attached to wands, while the other half either chanted or burnt talisman papers.
The men quickly removed large, monstrous like siege weapons.
Normally siege weapons were almost unusable because of their tedious nature and slow reload time. Thus only on full scale wars could they have any actual purpose.
Yet Robert had installed Steel pillars onto the catapults and even shortened them. The stone firmly set in it's place.
Furthermore the men behind them each had large booming muscles, that seemed almost magically enhanced.
They let the trigger go and as if Gods fist, the catapult rushed as it was released and slammed into the ground, squashing enemies into mush, or simply making the battlefield Immovable. Furthermore splinters of rock raced through the air cutting people.
The muscle men went to work and the catapult quickly rose back up and fell again, and again and again.
The battlefield had become a desolate and bloody mess, with holes all about it looked truly gruesome and scary.
Yet that wasn't the most sickening part, perhaps the men and women wearing silver armor who were had turned into statues, or were slowly dissolving.
It was truly frightening the work of Shamans. One could easily see why Shamanism was considered a dark art, even with it's attachment to god.
Yet Julius was not to be undone.
A decrepit old man slowly walked from behind him, draped in a black cloak with only his dirty grey hair peeking out of his hood.
He walked with a cane, and a deeply unsettling feeling came from him.
Julius bowed towards the old man and asked, "O, Blood King I wish for your assistance."
The old man simply knocked his cane down.
Suddenly the air stilled and the sky darkened.
The pools of blood and flesh, began to float slightly into the air.
The rebels weapons slowly fell one by one at the sight of this.
"Magician...?"
The blood completely turned and flew to the sky and morphed into an orb.
It was beautiful like a blood red jewel, it was crystal clear like a mirror and one could even seen their manic expression painted on the ball.
Suddenly the ball exploded into Millions of needles that flew through the air claiming the lives of everyone and everything, leaving only Julius, Robert and the old man who drank the blood.
Yet at the old man finished drinking and said with a hoarse voice, "Thank you for the meal..."
He collapsed to the ground.
He held his hands in front of his face, as he vomited black blood.
His trembling body was only able to mutter one word before dying.
"Poison...?"
Robert and Julius looked at the dead old man in shock.
The monarch of death and evil. The leader of the Demonic faction. An actual magician and to that a King rank one... just died? A wild and audacious calamity of wickedness and vileness who even the Heaven's feared just died?
Yet the two heros didn't bother after a single glance.
In the end it was up to these two to actually decide the winner.
They drew their swords, and an rapid electricity raced through the air and a firm tension filled the air.
The two men jumped as they climbed the air, their swords clashed an a brilliant mirage of lights filled the slowly descending darkness.
Falling to the ground, the two used all their force upon their toes and sped towards each other.
Julius roared as he dragged his sword down, whereas Robert tilted his head to the the side and brought his elbow to catch the blade, blood splattered.
Robert's sword like a snake flew towards Julius head, Julius barely dodged it, but his ear was cur off.
While the two grappled each other, Robert went in for a headbutt, while Julius used his free hand to prepare a fierce punch to Robert's ribs.
Robert vomited blood as the punch hit his ribcage and two ribs broke, one hitting against his lung making breathing extremely difficult.
Whereas Robert slammed his face into Julius's face shattering his nose and making him extremely dizzy and unfocused.
Taking this chance, Robert coiled his leg around Julius's leg and swept him off his feet.
Placing his head against Julius's, the two sped to the ground.
With the force Robert provided as well as their descending speed the force attacking Julius's head wad severe.
Julius luckily managed to recover in time and turned to his side with Robert.
Using his free hand to cushion his head Julius hit the ground and escaped Robert's grip and rolled away.
The two men slowly stood up, each eyeing each other with venom in their eyes.
They raised their swords and clashed against each other in a repetitive motion, both too scared to try anything like before. The feeling of death getting tighter and tighter around their necks.
Eventually too exhausted they threw their swords down and began to fist fight.
Finally the two fell to the ground dead tired.
Who knew who would win?
As the two glared at each other silently.
Clapping could be heard.
A handsome young man, wearing a robe and having short hair walked closer to the two.
His eyes curved into two moons as a sick smile was on his lips.
This man was of course Won.
Won said, "Magnificent fight! Quite a show indeed. I'm honestly shocked."
Won then took out eight metal rod from thin air.
He went to the two men and poked them into each of their limbs.
Julius as if understanding something laughed, "Why are you keeping us alive?"
Won smirked, "Seeing everything you have crumble. I want to see it. Others have done that to me, so I want to see the fun in it. Well I won't torture you fellows too much. In a few minutes you'll die."
Won clapped his hands, "Come out."
Suddenly a wall in the valley shattered and men with dull bored looks came out.
Won said, "Wear the rebels armor and act injured."
The men simply nodded and began to strip whatever rebel armor they could.
Won smiled, "Curious? They're people from the beggar sect, the hungered division. They do anything for money. Did you know some even are willing to become your wives there! I was shocked! I didn't buy any... Sigh."
Won mocked Robert and Julius, "You two have made everything so easy for me. I must thank you two."
Julius laughed, "So you're the one who planned everything?! Hahaha!"
Robert simply stared in distress.
Won said, "I'd feel bad sending you off into reincarnation without telling you why I am king. After you two die, I will take the name of the rebels and use the Jade stamp of the king here to announce myself the new King. There will be difficulties taking the throne with the harsh public view, considered the rebels said they wished for a free society. But once I take the throne I'll execute all the nobles easily slaying those bastards and at the same time calming the public."
Robert roared, "That wouldn't be enough to quell our peoples spirit!"
Won laughed, "Who said I'm not their spirit? While you focused on increasing your milita and was focused on attacking the king and his people, the ones to suffer were the helpless commoners. Yet I personally visited each of the main cities and freed them. They've all seen me and they've seen my 'desire,' furthermore I've had some fellows like these who do anything for money to kill the rest of the disturbances in my name. Everyone knows me and my desire. Meanwhile all they will see of you is a power hungry, manipulative fox."
Robert was shocked, "What do you mean?"
Won laughed, "Your family was one of the first nobles, but your family's young master raped the princess in a drunk stupor and a majority your family was killed with the dredges washing up nowhere. Now one hundred years later, you seek to conquer back the Kingdom. Hehe."
Robert was shocked, "How did you..."
Won poked Robert's head, "No one does anything out of the kindness of their heart for free. Either people want power, compliments, reputation, or to just feel good about themselves. No one ever does anything for others for free. It wasn't hard to guess considering your knowledge of the royalty which was said to be extremely frightening, your mysterious background, your vehement opposition of the royalty even before rebellion began. So may things pointed to you being a harsh hater of the royals. Very few have been spurned such that they go to such lengths, and even fewer survive the hounds of the kingdom."
Robert dropped his head without resistance.
Won laughed, "I mean you should have noticed how simple things were. From getting resources, aid, getting the Heaven and Earth Diviners help. Everything you should have known was in my allowance. Every desicion you could have made I planned for, every choice you could have chosen I knew and set up. I am the Sovereign after all."
Won turned to Julius and asked, "And you? I knew you'd probably call upon the Blood king fellow. Yet to call upon that Heretical mad man. You sure are one scummy king. I'm sure you know his price, yet you willingly paid it. How sickening of a fellow. Luckily I anticipated and doused the ground where the blood sat in potent poison."
Won began to swipe through Julius's clothes and took out a Jade stamp with the Royal insignia.
Not forgetting to deliver a round of slappings to Julius and Robert, making their faces swollen and disgraceful to die with.
Won said, "You greedy fellows sicken me. And I'm a Cruel, sick and twisted Greedy asshole. So stay here and bleed away knowing everything you've had, everything you wanted. I'll take away."
Won walked away and said, "Oh right Julius your son's death was especially fun go watch. Seeing his fear and shock. Quite delightful."
Julius heard that and something broke in him. He roared out. He felt he had lost anything and thus nothing mattered to him. But now hearing this, his son a mere tool for anothers man's purposes. A man who would take his Kingdom, his Everything! How could he not go mad.
Yet just then a pack of wolves with red eyes wandered from the cave. Their rods rising seeking to pierce the Heavens.
As soon as they saw the two men present they pounced...
...
Won held the Jade stamp in his hands and smiles viciously.
"Hehe. Even if they have resentment, even if they want to become ghosts. There's no point. Those Soul devouring wolves after having their pleasure, will also have a good dish. Ai. I also wish to live like that without waste."
Won smirked as he saw the orange sun.
He extended his hand out and laughed, "I will do as I wish. My desire shall be known. My Will shall extend past the seven Heavens. And the first step is Won - The Killer of Kings. Hehe."
