Here I am, sitting on a tree branch. I don't need food.....but I want to eat and there's nothing here other than sour tasting fruits and I mean inedible sourness!! and tbh I can't cook anything.
"- Sigh- Lese, btw that age am I in, are there nearby civilization?" I'm just chewing on a leaf that have some flavours which I can enjoy at least.
My companions are playing on the riverbank.

I jumped down from the branch and walked towards the river to drink some water. I'm too lazy and it's not like the water will kill me and plus, Lese guaranteed that the water is at safe level.

With that, I just continue what I have been doing since last night, studying plants and trees and fishes.... actually I only found few fishes in the river and I can't sacrifice all of them. I need more knowledge to create more modifications on them.
I can ask the help of Lese, but I chose not to because I need entertainment in this boring world. The only thing preventing me from just sleeping are my excitements.

Overall, I studied 3 plants and 1 tree, all plants here seems to follow a fundamental structure.
They have bones in their body and which have roots like tentacles spreading all over their body called 'core roots' and the bone like structure are called 'Core frame'. The wood itself looks like normal wood except it channel lots of Mana from the core roots to the leaf. In short this plants and trees don't use photosynthesis, the leaves are used for protection instead, protection from something I don't know, the bark itself is something I saw on all plants and trees, they contain something called 'anti astler' and 'astler poison nullifying buds' the first is something like a resin under the card and the later are small beads like things in the bark that release a very acidic gas.
What can drive them to such insanity?
Nvm, The fish themselves seems to possess few organs, no gills and swim bladder. Instead they seems to only rely on Mana and their bones have structures inside it that destribute Mana to it's body, it's heart was replaced by a Mana core that circulate the Mana inside its body.
Wait...I seems to be forgetting something...my skill 'material manipulation' says I can change their biology with things that I know... that's it!!!
With my now newfound idea I decided to use it on a random tree, my idea? I'm going to create a lightning elemental environment.
First of all, I need a source of energy for the environment and that's where the trees and plants comes in.
With all of this ready, I focused and opened my Mana eyes and I see the complete structure of the tree
First I decided to modify the core frame into something. By imitating the inner structure of fish bones, I decided to amplify the Mana these tree can absorb by adding it to the core frame inner structure. Man this is taking a lot of time, but I need to focus.
I then modified the astler poison nullifying buds by injecting a lot of lightning Mana slowly into them at a rapid rate and slowly changing its inner structure to make it produce lightning elemental mana instead untill I got a new trait in my list and I also added a whole ton of them on the tree
Next the core roots, I did the same thing I did to the core frame to it with the addition of the some buds in it so that it can store lightning Mana in its wood fibers and thus creating a wood that can conduct lightning Mana very fast
how much time have passed? tbh I don't know and as if I care at this moment.
Next is anti astler, it's produced by excess gas in the buds and forming under the bark.
I change it to where it instead protects the tree and absorb lightning Mana to heal the tree and make it regrow really fast.
Next is the tree roots, this is where I'm going absurb, tbh this tree only use roots to cling to the earth as it can survive without roots, but I need it to be able to absorb more mana.
And so I added barks to it for extra protection as it will be important, I then riddled it will buds and modified them with the core frame and the inner fish bones structure to turn them into Lighting Mana sucking buds, they will only absorb lightning elemental mana and nothing else.
The leaves, I modified them into ahhhhhh nvm I still don't have anything to use the leaves for.
Next I strengthen the woods itself so that it can endure the pressures and straining.
this last part will be really hard, I need to add a core similar to that of the fish to hold all the energy because these whole tree might just go and explode and not just one core.
I first hollowed 3 spaces at the very rood of the core frame and focused a lot of Mana there and started doing my work, using the materials I remove to hollow the places and created a structure similar to that of the core and started tinkering with it and I modified its functions to something that can store energy and once it's all done I created the remaining 2 and added more to bigger branches with the total of 8 cores, I then added more core roots all over the tree's body and roots and connected to the cores to make the Mana conversion and passage easy
And with that, the prototype is done.
I fall and limped on the ground, very tired, no time to check the tree or the notifications I received about the tree
