Zinnia's POV:

It was beautiful outside, sun shining, birds chirping, it was the kind of day you'd want to spend at a pool or a beach, and just go swimming or lay on a towel and just tan for hours (without getting sun burned of course) I thought as I laid in bed wide awake, and to be honest I absolutely loved the thought of going to the pool or beach; but sadly that wasn't what I'd be doing, I would be going to school bored out of my mind (a private school might I add). The type of school where rich stuck ups go to; but lucky for me I'm nothing like any of those no goods, I was in-fact actually different than the rest of them which I'm proud about. I love my life; I just hope I never take any of it for granted in the future.

Jeez even just the thought made me quiver in my bed.

As I managed to somehow get out of bed to start getting ready for school, I went to my dresser and grabbed the bottle of proscribed meds that I'm required to take everyday, I don't know why I'm supposed to. All I know is that I grew up taking them and my mother is always constantly breathing down my neck about making sure I've taken them. I would always ask her, "but why?" And she would always come up with the same thing, "because terrible things will happen if you don't, you have a rare condition my love so it's very important you never go a day without taking it. Understood?" So I'd just nod and obey. It's not just me that has to take it though, my three best friends, Madeline, Valencia, and Avalon that I grew up with has to take them too. I grabbed the bottle and tapped two pills into the palm of my hand, and grabbed my water. I plopped the two pills in my mouth and washed it down with water.

Once I was finished I put my water down on the dresser to grab my uniform out of my closet, I walked out the closet and walked back to my dresser and grabbed my underwear and bra.

I walked to my night stand with all my clothes in my arms and grabbed my phone. I walked towards my bedroom door and huffed in annoynment; "seriously you got to be kidding me, how am I gonna open the door with all my stuff in my hands!" I sighed and realized how stupid I was, "why must I be such a dumbass?" I just plopped my stuff on the floor and went to grab a laundry basket out of my bathroom and walked back to my bedroom door, where my stuff was laying. I leaned over and picked them up and neatly placed them in the basket and placed it on my hips.

As I opened the door I walked out halfway in the hallway and stopped, I facepalmed myself "wait what am I doing? I have my own bathroom in my room. Why am going to the one out here?" I said to myself, I turned around and walked back into my room and closed the door, I rub my head "Sheesh, how much sleep did I get last night" I laughed as I walk into my bathroom. I grabbed a towel and sat it down on my vanity, I went and turned the shower on and then turned on my music. Once I found a song I liked, I placed my phone on the shelf hanging above my toilet, stepped into the shower and closed the door. A few minutes pass and I was finally done bathing. I walked out of the shower and grabbed my towel and wrapped it around me. I stopped my music, and grabbed my phone as I walked out of my bathroom.

As I started getting ready for school, I heard my phone ring. I looked down and saw it was Madeline requesting to FaceTime me. "Ah I need to hurry and place these down somewhere before I miss her request." I plopped my stuff on the floor and hurried to my bed, practically lunging and throwing myself atop my covers, careful not to drop the towel wrapped around my body and accepted her call while I continued to get ready.

"Hey Madeline, sorry I took so long, my hands were full" I said as I finished putting on my uniform. "Hey Zin! you're fine, no worries. Are you ready? cause I just got done picking up Valencia, so I'm on my way to your house and-" I see Valencia pop up in the frame on my screen "-Yeah so in this case you better be ready cause we're here." Madeline rolled her eyes. Valencia didn't see her. "There ya go Mad, just thought I should- you know- finish what you were gonna say." She said, laughing cheerfully. "Yeah as in rudely interrupting me and putting words in my mouth you dumbnut." I rolled my eyes and laughed "you guys crack me up I swear." I said as I shook my head gently back and forth and gathered my stuff with my phone in my hand and walked out of my room.

As I walked down stairs and put my backpack on my shoulders, Madeline broke the silence; "I swear Val, why do you always interrupt me, not going to lie It gets on my nerves. It's like you think you know what I'm gonna say but you don't, so please stop will ya? And we're nowhere near Zinnia's house yet so you had no reason to say that." She said annoyed but with a smile on her face. Valencia poked her head out again and smiled, "Sorry I'm just so excited that today is the last day of school before summer break and I'm just so hyped cause this is going to be the best summer we've ever had." She said while she squealed on the top of her lungs. I laughed as I walked into the kitchen and toward the fridge, I opened it and grabbed my lunch box, closing the fridge.

I unzipped my backpack and placed my lunch box inside and grabbed my house keys. I thought back on what Valencia said and laughed again, "how's it gonna be fun? we haven't even made any plans yet Val." I told her confused, I placed my house keys back on the key holder so I could put my shoes and socks on, "Yea yea yea whatever. You know what I mean." Once I was finished tying my shoes I grabbed my house keys and started walking towards the front door and opened it, I stepped out and closed the door; I took my house key and locked the house up.

I walked to the end of my driveway, shoved my key in the side pocket of my backpack and stood there and waited for them, "Hey are you guys still on the phone I completely forgot about you guys." They laughed and said yes. We started talking about our plans for summer and all we'd do together, Valencia gasped, "oh my god I have the perfect idea!" Madeline went wide eyed, "oh no please tell me you don't want to go skinny dipping in your neighbors pond like last year? Do you not remember us coming out of that pond COVERED in fucking leeches!?" I busted out laughing at the glimpse down memory lane of last years summer. We were sneaking out of Valencia's house and walked to her neighbors backyard where the pond was located. We stripped all our clothes off and jumped in. It was all fun and games until we got out covered in leeches, but the rest is all a story for another day.

I snapped out of my day dream to see Val roll her eyes, "What!? Please tell me what's so wrong about that!? You guys met my neighbor Kelly she's a total bitch! But anyways no that's not the idea I thought of, my idea was that we should totally put our money together and just spend a whole month at the beach!" I started thinking about it and was surprised, Madeline agreed with the idea as well, the three of us got super excited just thinking about it.

After our long conversation about summer Madeline decided to end the call to pay more attention to the road, she said goodbye and hung up. A few minutes passed and I decided to sit on my driveway to watch vampire diaries until they arrived. Seconds into watching it I got a message from Madeline that said they were almost there; I paused the show and as I looked up from my phone I saw a girl walking by that looked out of the ordinary, like she didn't belong in this world. She passed by my driveway and gave me this evil-ish smirk as she casually walked past. She looked so beautiful, the girl had this red-ish purple color that glowed around her like a night light.. I got this crazy unsettling feeling as she walked away into the distance.

I shook my head back and forth to wake me from my imagination. I unpaused the episode I was on and continued watching. I heard a car approaching and I stood up, I paused my show again and quickly walked back to my door as Madeline pulled into my driveway. I walked to the passenger side of the car and saw Valencia was sitting in the front.

I opened the door and she smiled, "I called shotgun." She said excited, I look at her unamused and laughed as I crossed my arms, "yes you did, but you know we take turns. You sit in the front on the way to my house and then we switch and I sit in the front on the way to school." She huffed and did her signature "pouty" face and crossed her arms "grr I know I just thought we could change it up a bit." I laugh and pat her shoulder as she climbs out, "not a chance Val, you know I despise change. I still love you though." She opened the door to the back seat and smiled at me "I know it's ok I love you too Zin." She gave a peace sign and climbed in the back, I shut the door for her and climb in the front seat. I shut the door and placed my backpack on my lap.

As Madeline started pulling out of my driveway, my mind when straight to that mysterious girl I saw not too long ago. I asked them many times if they saw the girl, but they just kept explaining they didn't see her and looked at me questionably. It drove me insane cause I had this feeling they may have saw it, but just didn't want to admit it cause they'd think that they were crazy; I just decided to let it go as I looked out the window.

Valencia startled me as she slowly inched her head in the space between the driver's seat and the passengers seat, broke the short silence and said, "I hope our teachers are just laid back and don't care what we do today, I'm going to be so bummed if I'm wrong." I shake my startled ness and looked at Madeline as we laughed and agreed with her. I went back to looking out the window with the my thought drifting back to the girl I saw, but thinking about it made me sleepy, so I rested my head on the window, and as I was drifting off to sleep our school came into view.

Madeline pulled into her assigned parking space and turned the car off. I unbuckled my self and opened the car door, put my backpack on and closed the door, I started walking towards my friends.

As I'm walking up on the sidewalk where Madeline is waiting, Valencia hopped out the car and ran to catch up to me, and linked her arm with mine. Madeline locked the car and joined Valencia in linking her arm with mine and we started walking, Madeline sighed a breath of relief, "It honestly feels like today is going to be a really good day. Don't you guys think so?" She said as we approached a bench and stopped. I smiled, "I feel what you mean, I think it is too." Valencia rolled her eyes, "Well duhh, it's the last day of school! Of course it's going to be a good day. But I swear if you two jinxed it I'm throwing some hands." She said as she glared and pointed between the both of us. Madeline returned her eye roll, "whatever Val I'm just reminiscing in our last day." Valencia and Madeline laughed, "I think me and Val are going to go head to the cafeteria real quick before class starts, we'll see you later yeah?" I nodded and hugged them both, "bye guys have a good rest of the day I'll see you both later in class, lunch and after school. And you can sit in the front on the way to drop my off, ok Val?" She beamed at me "yayyy whoop whoop! Thank you Zin!" She said cheerfully and I smiled "you're welcome." Madeline and Valencia hugged me; I returned it once more.

As they walked away I felt multiple vibrations from my phone, I went over to a bench close by and took my backpack off my shoulders and grabbed my phone out the side pocket, I opened my phone and saw that I had many notifications from my friend Avalon. I sat down on the bench and I tapped on one of the notifications.

[7:10] Avalon:

Where the fuck are you? we're gonna be late to first period!

[7:15] Avalon:

I swear if you leave me here all by myself in our classes imma get you back for that.

I laughed to myself. And rolled my eyes, just simple Avalon like fashion, and started typing.

[7:18] Zinnia:

You needn't worry Ava, I'm going to be at school today, in fact we just pulled in earlier lol.

[7:19] Avalon:

Good, cause I wasn't about to sit there and suffer in those two classes without you in there to suffer with me😂and hurry your ass up, we have one minute until the bell rings.

I got up from the bench and started walking

[7:19] Zinnia:

I'm on my way to where you're at, I can see you from where I sat at the bench.

I closed out of my Messages and turned my phone off, I looked up and saw her in the distance. She looked up from her phone and walked towards me to give me a hug. "Hey Zin!" She said as she hugged me, I returned the hug and I smiled, "hey! Sorry I didn't message you sooner I was with Val and Mad as usual." She smiled as we parted and linked her arm with mine, "it's ok no sweat! I miss them in the mornings, ever since we were late that one time, my mom refuses to let me do it again." We stopped walking and unlinked our arms, as she took a step back I saw she was wearing her fish nets underneath her uniform's skirt, I tilted my head up at her and stared at her with a blank face. She looked at me confused, lifted her eyebrow and looked around us, "what are you looking at? Is there something on my face?" I shook my head and pointed at her fish nets, "really Ava? you're wearing those again? I understand you're trying to add more style to the uniforms but it's against the dress code." She grinned and shrugged as she scratched her head, "I know they're against dress code but I love them and how they make this ugly ass uniform come together, and that's why I wear them, because they're against dress code." I laugh at her response, she just smiles at me and I rolled my eyes, I go to link my arm with hers and we started walking towards the school.

Avalon broke the short silence, "I can't believe summer break starts tomorrow, and that today's our last day here; we better be spending time together over summer no exceptions." I smiled at her and laughed, "of course we'll spend time with each other over break silly. In fact Mad, Val and I are all planning to put our money together and plan a whole beach trip. You're invited to join if you want? I'm sure they planned to fill you in once we got to lunch or fourth block." She beamed and smiled, "Ooo that'd be so awesome I'll definitely be down for that!" I smiled back at her, "Yay! I'm sure the girls will be so happy to hear! Speaking of them, I was supposed to meet up with them at the cafeteria, but whoops oh well" I laughed and shrugged as we walked down towards the school doors, Avalon looked at me and shrugged too, "eh they'll live, and they'd understand you and I were just catching up, us four haven't seen each other much since my mom wanted me to focus on my studies." I nodded, "true, true. Your mom has always been so strict on you since your dad left." She side frowned a bit, "yea I'm sorry", I looked at her and rubbed her back, "no it's ok Ava, it's not your fault, I'm sorry I brought it up." She smiled at me, "no it's ok, you're fine Zin." I smile back at her easy recovery from that side memory, as we approached the doors and walked in, the bell to go to first block rang and luckily we had first, second and third block together, then lunch and last block with our friend group. So we're able to walk to class together.

We walked down the hallway making sure to look out for the principal, "Haven't you got into enough problems with the dress code violations, are you sure wearing those are worth it? I wore the ones you lend to me for that party we went to last week and I couldn't last a minute, they get really itchy." She laughed so hard, "Girl they are so worth the violations and if you wore them as much as I do you'd get use to them." I looked at her and shook my head, "No thanks I'll pass but if you say so." I shrugged my shoulders and linked my arm back with hers. We walked to our classroom before the final bell rang, and sat in our seats next to each other. Once we get situated, our teacher Mr. Dawson walked in. He took a seat at his desk and took attendance. He looked up from the computer towards Avalon and I, "ok, Avalon and Zinnia are here." She looks at me and whispers, "we better not have work to do or I swear I'm walking out." I laugh as Mr. Dawson clears his throat after calling attendance, I put my focus up front as he gets up and takes a seat on his stole in the front of the classroom, "ok class, just have one announcement, and that is I'll be passing out your end of the year exam test scores, and then after that seeing how it's the last day of school today, I'm giving you all a free day." Me and Avalon looked at each other and fist pumped. Mr. Dawson motioned for everyone to settle down, "yes, yes I'm just as excited as you all are, but please don't be obnoxiously loud today ok? If you do I'll have to hand out work and I don't want to do that on our last day, ok? Got that?" All of us said our agreements as he walked beck to his desk and sat down.

Me and Avalon decided to take out our phones and read Mattpad. Minutes into class I started dozing off, I looked over at Avalon and gave her a look: 'I am so bored.'  She looked up from her phone and gave me the same look and mouthed, 'me too I'm so tired.' I looked down at my phone and started where left off on the story I was reading, and as I was reading; the girl I saw while waiting for Madeline and Valencia this morning popped up in my head.

I started thinking about who she might've been and if she goes to school here, because I've never seen her around here in my life. I finally stopped thinking and went back to my story. The bell finally rang and we started putting everything up. I got up and zipped up my backpack, I walked to the front of the room and waited for Avalon to finish putting her stuff up, she zipped up her backpack and walked up to where I was waiting on her, she took my arm and linked it with hers and we walked out to head to second period, "ugh math is torture I hate having it first thing in the morning, thank goodness to the beauties of last days." She laughed, I laughed with her.

We turned the corner and walked toward second, I sighed and agreed with her, "I feel you there, I'm so glad to be done with that class, thankfully we had a free day today. Let's just hope we get the same next block." She nodded in agreement, and we continued walking to class.

We laughed and talked about how we hoped we have classes again next year. We finally got to culinary before the final bell, we walked in and sat at our table, I hated our second period, it was the most boring one we had. Mrs. Stace called out attendance. When she was done she started handing out our end of grade test scores and announced that we had no free period today, "ok class, we'll be watching restaurant documentaries today, if you don't want to watch them then put your heads down and take a nap. but no talking while they're playing, and no phones please." Avalon looked at me and I looked back at her, she started taking off her jacket and making a pillow, "I don't know about you but I'm taking a nap" I laughed, "haha you know damn straight I'm not watching those either." She laughed as we both laid our heads down and fell asleep.

I suddenly woke up to the bell for third period, Avalon sprung up, hair stuck to her face with her drool, as she swatted to fix it, looked at her phone, put it in her pocket and stood up to put her backpack on. I stood up and put mine on too. She sighed and looked back at me, "I can't believe we slept for that long without naturally waking up in between, I wish it was like that when I'm sleeping in my bed at home." Avalon laughed as she started walking to the door. I put my phone in the side pocket of my backpack and followed after her. "I know what you mean. I've never slept in a class without waking up sporadically." I replied back with a laugh.

We turned the corner towards American Government. I sighed and rolled my eyes "ugh I hate our third period class, worst history class to ever be in, I mean sure our teacher Mr. Scott tries to joke around and make it funny and interesting but it's just I always tend to fall asleep. hopefully we aren't doing anything today." She rolled her eyes in agreement as we walked towards the classroom door, "I agree with you on that one, it's annoying always having to wake you up before he sees you, but I don't blame you." She looked at me and smiled, I ignore the smile and swatted at her shoulder, "hey what do you mean 'annoying' I do it for you too when it's you who does the same!" She swatted me back and laughed. We walked into the classroom and sat down at our desks beside each other.

Once we got situated Mr. Scott walked in and took a seat at his desk. After he called attendance he cleared his throat, "so class today we will be doing nothing but watching history videos." Avalon and I both huffed under our breaths and rolled our eyes. I scooted my desk close to hers and pulled out my phone, as I did so Mr. Scott cleared his throat, "excuse me, Zinnia? No phones please." I purse my lips and slide my phone back in my bag, in the process Avalon nudged my arm and I looked up at her, "You know I'm quite bummed that we possibly won't have him as our teacher for history next year he's kinda cute, I don't know if you've noticed it too, but I swear he looks a lot like Stefan from the vampire diaries, you cannot deny it!" I squinted my eyebrows together and tilted my head and looked at our teacher, the more I glanced at him the more that I finally saw what she was talking about, my eyes began to go wide and I slowly turned my head back towards her, She began laughing and pointing back at me, "see I told you! You finally see it then! It's fucking crazy dude! I'm right then? He looks like Stefan, am I right?!" I started to nod really quickly, "yes! He looks a lot like him! How have I never noticed it before!? This is so crazy what!?" She nodded in agreement. "I don't know how you've never noticed it before, cause I've noticed it since the day I stepped into this classroom, you know me I love Stefan, cause I honestly don't understand why so many people are obsessed with Damon, Especially you. He's not even attractive, man. Like Damon seriously looks like a wet fucking dog. Its gross. He needs a shower and a hair cut." I bursted out laughing through the stab in my Damon affectionate heart and could not stop, I had tears streaming down my face. I put my hand dramatically to my heart, "Omg that hurts but at the same time that's fucking great I can't breathe, best criticism I've ever heard, but like damn Ava why don't you say how you really feel." I finally caught my breath, She combed through her hair and shrugged, "I mean I'm being serious he looks like a wet dog. No fucking joke." I bursted out laughing again and our teacher paused the video and looked at us, "Guys please settle down." I stopped laughing and went red, Avalon went wide eyed, smiled at him, and cleared her throat "We're done now, carry on Mr. Salvato- Ah.. I- I mean Mr. Scott" She stammered as she wrapped her arm around my shoulder and waved nervously at him, he just chuckled and unpaused the video. I swiped my hand across my forehead, "phew that was a close one, especially for you almost calling him Mr. Salvatore" I said mockingly, She slouched down in her chair and pulled her hair in front of her face, and sighed a breath of relief, "I know right that would've been really embarrassing, and thank god he didn't ask why we were laughing either." I laugh and pat her on the head to ease her embarrassment a little better, "yeah that definitely would've been embarrassing for you."

The bells for lunch finally rang, we have last lunch, which sucks because by this time I'm starving. Me and Avalon quickly got up, "yes finally I'm starving!" She said as we began walking out of the room, "oh wait up, I brought a lunch, I need to go get it." She followed me back to my desk, "oh shit I brought mine too, thanks for reminding me or else I would've starved and stole some of your food." I rolled my eyes and laughed. We grabbed our lunch boxes and walked out of the classroom.

As we were walking out, our teacher followed us and locked the door behind him, and as we walked ahead he caught up and cleared his throat, "so uh, quick question what were you two laughing about? There wasn't anything funny in the history video I was showing." Me and her stopped in our tracks, turned to face each other wide eyed, She and I laughed nervously, and Avalon turned slowly to look at Mr. Scott and started scratching her head, "well... I.. I mean you see it was... heh heh" I started turning red at her jumbled sentences, and instead of finishing her sentence Avalon reached for my hand and we sprinted away to the cafeteria; leaving him standing in the middle of the hallway confused. He just looked at us, shrugged and turned to walk to the Teachers lounge.

We were laughing as we reached the cafeteria, "I cannot believe we did that, he must be so confused, and most importantly why'd we sprint off?! You know we go back to the classroom for our stuff and wait for the bell, he's just going to ask again!" I said worried, Avalon looked at me and raised an eyebrow, "you do realize with how long our lunch is and him talking up a storm with all the other teachers eating lunch that there's no way he's going to remember right?" I clicked my tongue, "touché, very well you have a point, I just can't believe you jinxed yourself." She grabbed my arm and led us to our table and laughed, "I know right, i should not have said that out loud..." I laughed and rolled my eyes as I sat down. I get situated and grab my phone out of my lunch box, as I set it down I get a text message from Valencia.

11:15 Valencia:

Hey so sorry but Madeline and I are off campus running errands for our animal science teacher and decided to just pick up something from Burger Queen. But we'll see you in our next class! ❤️

11:15 Zinnia:

Oh ok! All good, I'll fill Ava in and let her know love you and see you next block!

11:18 Valencia:

Okie dokie see you soon!

I turn my phone over on the table and filled Avalon in, "So Mad and Val are running errands for their animal science teacher, so it'll just be you and me til we see them next block." She paused from taking out her sandwich and smiled, "oh ok that's fine as long as we aren't suffering in our last class without them." I laugh and agreed with her as we opened our lunch and started eating.

As we were eating, out of the corner of my eye I could see a girl I haven't seen around school was walking towards us with her lunch tray in her hands. She walked towards the table and cleared her throat, "Hey um, I'm sorry to bother you but is that seat taken?" she asked pointing to the seat in front of her across from me, as I looked at her.

Her hair was really pretty, very orange if that's a way to put it, and her eyes were extremely blue; Avalon nudged me as if to say: 'tell her no it isn't.'  But I couldn't budge because the vibe I got from her wasn't so settling and I couldn't put my finger on it, Avalon rolled her eyes and spoke for me as I reached for my water to take a drink, "No it isn't, I'm sorry for my friend she's in a little shock after she figured out she's been eating bones all her life." She remarked unfazed as the girl sat in the seat.

As I'm sipping my water I completely choke, she leaned in to the new girl and spoke in a loud whisper, "as in jello." I smacked her on the shoulder gently "what?! no, you're joking!" the girl laughed. I turned my head quick to where she took the seat across from me, "you didn't know about gelatin being made out of bones did you?" the girl asked me. "Uh I- uh, no I- I didn't know about that." I stammered. Avalon laughed so hard, I only stared at her, "How could you ruin that for me Ava?" the girl laughed again. Avalon started shaking her head, laughing even harder "Sorry I just thought you should know what you've been eating all these years." I rolled my eyes at her. She laughed again, "oh, oh, oh, and you'd never guess what hot dogs are made out of!" Avalon said loud enough for me to hear through my daydreaming again, I snap out of it and plug my ears with my fingers and shake my head, "No! Please no, don't ruin that for me too! Please? you asshole." I glare at her, she and the new girl both bursted out into laughter, "you two are really humorous." the girl said in between laughter, I sighed annoyed and rolled my eyes at Avalon.

Avalon smiled and said thank you, after she caught her breath, then she asked the new girl what her name was. "hey, so umm what's your name?" the girl looked up from her tray and smiled, "Oh! my name is Brier. Brier Apricity, what about you two?" I smiled at her, "That's a really pretty name, it suits you! My name is Zinnia by the way! But everyone calls me Zin." Avalon smiled and nodded, "Zin is right that is a pretty name and suits you really well, my name is Avalon but everyone calls me Ava." Brier smiled, "Awe thanks you guys! It's really nice to meet you!" Avalon smiled "It's really nice to meet you too Brier." I smiled as well, "yes welcome to Ravenwood's Private School Academy." Brier smiled, "thank you so much, but uh, I'm kinda not that new here tho. I got into an accident a month ago, I was in a coma for a month and finally woke up 2 weeks ago."

I just stared at her shocked and looked at Avalon as she put a hand on her heart, "oh, I'm so sorry. I'm glad you're ok!" I smiled and nodded, "yes so glad you're ok, how come I've never seen you around school before though?" Brier swallowed the last of her food, "I kinda would keep to myself you know? I used to eat by myself in the student's lounge closet, but my accident has made me realize I need to make friends you know?" I finished the last of my food and nodded, "oh yeah, I definitely get that I totally understand." I said as I looked at her, from what I saw she looked a little nervous from the question I asked. What is up with her? I just shrugged and got up to throw my trash away.

When I got back to the table and sat down, Avalon and I start zipping our lunch boxes as Brier picked up her tray walked over the the tray station and handed it to the dish washing lady. She walked back to the table and sat down. Avalon cleared her throat and smiled, "we have chorus last block, what about you?" Brier looked up from picking at her nails and returned the smile, "I actually only have three classes total this year since I'm ahead, so I go home after lunch." Me and Avalon frown as we gather our lunch boxes and stand to head back to class, "damn that's too bad, but you're lucky tho!" I say as she joins us out in the hallway to walk with us to our classroom, "yea I was hoping you both were ahead like me, but it's all good I'll see you both next year I think, but I gotta go. It was great meeting you two!" Avalon smiled and waved, "It was great meeting you too!" I waved back as Brier walked down the hallway. Something seems mysterious about that girl. How can she still be ahead if she was in an accident a month ago and was in a coma and just woke up two weeks ago? I can't put my finger on it, but something definitely is up with her; but I just shrug, follow Ava and our classmates back into the classroom. Me and her put our backpacks on and standed near the doorway to wait for the bell. She breaks the silence and beams, "Brier is so pretty! I'm so glad she introduced herself aren't you?" I smile at her as the bell rings and we walk to go to our last block, "yeah I agree, I'm so glad she did too, hopefully we have classes with her and lunch again next year." She beamed again in agreement and linked her arm with mine.
