"AHH!" I screamed, awakening from my dream, "I can't believe there was a fire in Madeline and Valencia's house! I hope they weren't in there!" I cried out quietly; stunned out of horror. I got up out of bed all sweaty to get some ice water, I put my slippers on and walked to my door and opened it. I walk into the hallway and down stairs to the kitchen.
When I walked into the kitchen I walked towards the cabinet to get a glass out and once I opened it, I noticed a brown spider in the far left corner. I was about to scream until I noticed that it didn't crawl away as I was about to smash it, still a little scared I quickly grabbed my glass and shut the cabinet behind me. It wasn't until I walked over to the fridge; that I remembered my older brother Cashen was acting suspicious this morning when I walked into the kitchen to eat my breakfast that our mom prepared for me; and as I walked by he quickly walked away from the cabinets and laughed at something as he walked away. But I didn't think most of it after I left for school. I rolled my eyes annoyed, "Ugh! So that's why he was acting all weird this morning, he was hiding his stupid fake spider to scare me if I grabbed a glass out of there! He can be such a pain in the ass sometimes! He doesn't even act his age." When I calmed down I put my glass under the ice dispenser and pushed the button, the sound of the ice pouring into my glass made so much noise, I thought it would wake up Cashen, so I just stopped before it did so and filled my glass the rest of the way with water.
I turned around to walk out of the kitchen and turned off the light, walked to the stairs and started going up them carefully making sure I didn't spill my water. As I was walking up the stairs to go back to my room, I could have sworn I heard footsteps coming from Cashen's room; so as quickly and quietly as I can, I speed walk as fast I could to my bedroom without spilling my water and closed the door behind me. I sighed a breath of relief when I heard the footsteps come out of my mom's room instead of my brother's.
I went over towards my night stand to set the glass of water down then got into bed and laid down on my pillow. I couldn't stop thinking about my nightmare earlier and how desperately I wanted to FaceTime Valencia and Madeline or go into our group chat just to check and see if they had a similar dream and if it would actually happen, but I immediately got rid of the thought from my mind, "no, that's not possible, there's no way Val and Madeline can have a similar dream as me, right?" I questioned as I stared at my pitch black room which seemed for hours.
Two minutes later when I finally fell asleep, my six-year-old sister Gabriella opened the door and came into my room and plopped down on the bed beside me. She tapped on me until I finally managed to get some words out of my mouth, "what? I'm trying to sleep." She just looked at me blankly, "sissy? Can I sleep with you? I had a nightmare." "Mmmhmm." I said, before drifting back off to sleep.

*DING, DING, DING!*

I woke up in the middle of the night to my phone going off with DOZENS of texts messages from our group chat, along with some Facetime calls from both Madeline and Valencia. I read the messages and chuckled when I read Avalon's text:
[12:30am] Avalon:
I understand we don't have school anymore now that we're officially on summer break, but did you two seriously have to spam call this chat? I was in the middle of a saucy dream😭✋🏻
I laughed to myself and situated my body and bumped into someone, it startled me but I remembered that my sister came into my room and asked to sleep in here, I rolled my eyes as I looked at my phone and hit the request to Facetime my friends.
After what seemed like hours of waiting for them to answer their phones, Madeline, Valencia, and Avalon finally answered. "Zin!? WHAT IN THE HELL?! WE'VE BEEN TRYING TO CALL YOU AN HOUR AGO! IT TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH!" I jumped in surprise at how loud they were, "OKAY DAMN... at least keep it down ok? My sister is sleeping in here, and first of all I was in the middle of sleeping when you guys decided to call me! Like you two do realize what time it is right?" I laughed at the looks on there faces, especially on Avalon's half asleep face, "I'm just as annoyed as you are Zin; but mostly confused. Why are you guys calling this late?" After a second of bare silence after Avalon asked them a question, I chimed in and raised an eyebrow "yea why did you guys decide to call?" Madeline moved her eyes to the left and mumbled, "I have no idea.." I raised my eyebrow, noticing her voice trail off when she said that.

Madeline's POV:

I don't want her to find out about what I dreampt about tonight... did Valencia dream the same thing?? I shook my head, no that's impossible because that has never happened to me before. I shrugged, eh it's fine its not like my dream will come true; because then that would mean I have premonitions! and that doesn't EVER happen to me so she'll be fine. Right?.. I think.. I hope...

Zinnia's POV:

I look at Madeline who's still lost in concentration, and then at Valencia, who was just frozen looking paler than usual and mumbling something; I couldn't quite hear what she was saying though.
I look back at Madeline, confused "uh are you ok?" I finally asked concerned. She looked up startled, "huh? oh yeah I am." I raise my eyebrow, "You sure Mad?" she looked at me and laughed nervously, "Yea, I'm sure. Why don't you ask Val why she called too? Maybe she has something to say. Good luck on trying to though." she laughed. "O..Kay.. why would you say that?" I said as I laughed nervously as Madeline chuckled back, "oh you'll see Zin, you'll see. I'm just going to let you deal with it." I was so confused but ignored it, I said Valencia's name but she didn't answer me. I kept repeatedly trying to get her attention but she still wasn't answering me, she turned her head towards her phone and said something to me but instead of words coming out she was completely silent. I tried to let her know I couldn't understand her, and I hear Madeline on her side of the line giggle and then sigh, she started telling Valencia to just calm down and take a deep breath, but when she didn't listen and still remained to talk without words coming out Madeline just threw her hands in the air and gave up "Yeah, well I tried telling her to physically speak, but she just isn't getting the memo that neither you, me or Avalon can understand her. Oh and by the way, that's what I meant when I told you; 'Good luck'. " I glared at her for a minute, "yeah no shit! I got what you meant when I couldn't hear her speak the first time, I'm not a dumb ass Mad." I rolled my eyes; she chuckled, "Haha sure you did, all I know is that you're probably just saying that to shut me up and to be honest sometimes you can be a total dumb ass, just saying." I was silent for a second, "Jee thanks Mad that totally makes me feel so good about myself." I gave her jazz hands, Madeline busted out laughing, "I'm just kidding, but you're welcome, love you." I rolled my eyes at her and laughed; "Yeah, yeah, yeah love you too Mad. Anyway lets get back to the point okay?" She laughed, I smiled and chuckled "haha ok, ok, yeah you're right, time to snap back into reality." After all joking around, I realized that Avalon was awfully quiet, I looked over at her on the FaceTime screen and see that she fell asleep, I smile and went back to talking to Valencia again, but to no surprise she was still not uttering any physical words, and that's when I completely lost it and literally wanted to yell, but decided not to. Ok, fine maybe I did a little bit.
I sighed, "Okay, just calm down Val please? I can't understand what you're trying to say, like your mouth is moving but I can't hear you speak, and I certainly don't think Mad either. So just try to calm down so that I can understand what you're trying to say to us."
Madeline perked up and smiled, "I can actually understand a little bit of what she was trying to say by reading her lips, but not that well though. Just thought I should let you know." I look at Madeline on my phone screen, glaring at her. "Seriously Mad, you couldn't have mentioned that sooner? Like hmmm let me see— IN THE FUCKING BEGINNING??!!" Madeline just laughed, "sorry I wasn't thinking she would keep it up this long gosh." I roll my eyes, "its ok I'm just overreacting, and I've got to admit it's pretty nice knowing that you can tell what someone is mouthing, I've always wanted to learn but could never get around to it" She chuckled "it's easy, at least to me it is. And to be honest you're right, I should've told you, but I was enjoying myself watching you look so confused and shit." my smile disappeared and I glared at her again, "Haha jee thanks Mad, love yah too, that's like so sweet of you. Anyway, Val have you calmed down yet so that me and Mad can understand what you've been trying to say to us?" Valencia wipes her hair out of her face and taps something on her screen, and then we finally hear sound, Valencia laughed, "ohhhh I had you guys on mute the whole time, haha whoops my bad." She said as I just stared at her unamused and facepalmed my face, I heard Madeline cracking up a storm laugh and I just sighed, Valencia laughed nervously, and Madeline finally stopped laughing. Valencia went back to explaining what she was saying before, but only more fluently this time; and as she was explaining what happened, It all clicked in when she said those nine words: "your mom was in a car accident and died!"
On the other line Madeline started breathing heavy and I knew she was trying hard not to worry, but it was all too hard for her.

I was starting to worry, because I remembered that I had the exact same dream as Valencia but didn't say a word, because I kinda figured it was just a normal scary dream. But now that Valencia experienced the same exact one I did only moments ago? Maybe this should be taken seriously. But how did me and Valencia experienced the same one? It makes no sense..
Could this have been a premonition? But I've never had premonitions before..
I thought for long second but all I did was shrug and went back to listening to Valencia talking to Zinnia. She started to panic, she didn't want her mom to die, and I couldn't blame her. I wouldn't have either if I was her.

Zinnia's POV:

I was beginning to panic, "that can't be real right?" But Valencia frowned and shrugged, I looked to Madeline and she frowned too as she looked at me and said, "I'm not too sure Zin, cause I had that exact same dream." I bit the side of my cheeks fighting back tears, and that's when it hit me.
I never told them about the dream I had about the both of them last night.
I was just about tell them what happened, when I heard them scream. The screaming woke up Avalon and she stammered, "What, what happened!? What's going on!" she said worryingly and half asleep. Valencia looked as if she saw a ghost, "A fire started in my house!" She replied; frightened half to death, "one started in my house too!" I heard Madeline yell, I gasped, "What? what is it Zin? What happened!?" Madeline and Valencia said at the same time. I started to remember the dream I had earlier tonight, "This same exact dream happened earlier tonight! I was about to tell you both, but you guys screamed before I could tell you, I'm so sorry!" I cried. "It's okay, you didn't know it was going to actually happen" Madeline explained, I half smiled, still guilty though. "Yeah, like Mad said, you didn't know it would happen it's not your fault." Valencia said. I smiled, wanting to give them a big hug. "Thanks you two I don't know what I would do without you guys." They both smiled, "we love you too Zin. Even if you can be a total clutz sometimes." Valencia said and laughed, Madeline started laughing; "Jee thanks Val." She smiled, "you're welcome. Anytime." And that's when I heard Avalon yell, "GUYS!" We looked at her realizing she was finally awake. She looked annoyed, "can someone tell me what the hell is going on? I've been trying to get your attention so you can fill me in, so I can go back to sleep." We look at each and Valencia caught her up to speed.
Avalon looked confused, as if she was trying to figure out how they could have experienced the same dream linked to one another, she shook her head, "we'll figure this how later first we need to focus on helping you two put out the fire yeah?" She said pointing to Valencia and Madeline. I nodded, "yes Ava is right. How big is the fire?"
Madeline and Valencia looked towards the fire, "it's not getting big... yet." They replied. Avalon and I sighed a breath of relief, "okay good. Now do you guys have a fire extinguisher?" Avalon said. Valencia's face lit up, "Yeah I do! I don't know about Mad though.." Madeline perked up, "A matter of fact I do!" she yelled. I sighed glad to know they had the things they needed. "Okay good! find the fire extinguisher and put out the fire." Valencia looked at me as if I was stupid or speaking Chinese, "yeah no shit we're not stupid." I rolled my eyes and laughed.
Valencia frowned, "umm I have a problem, my fire extinguisher is all the way in the kitchen.." I frowned, "oh dear that's not good.." I said.
Madeline sighed "Um, mines in the kitchen as well. I sighed and put my face in my hands. Avalon perked up, "wait that's ok! You said it was a small fire right? Then just empty your garbage cans and fill it with water to put it out!" She said as she smiled to herself. Madeline and Valencia nodded and started taking Avalon's advice. I face palmed myself, "oh right! I forgot they had bathrooms connected to their room! Thanks Ava." She smiled, "glad I could help." Valencia looked over to us and smiled, "okay I think I'm going to go so I can put it out." Madeline snapped her attention back to her phone and nodded, yea I think I'm going to do that too." Me and Avalon smiled. I was about to say that we loved them and hoped everything works out, until I was completely interrupted... "-Bye love you guys!" then just like that Valencia hung up before we could do so, Avalon laughed as I shook my head, "ookaayy, well then I guess Val is right. I'm going to let go so you can focus on putting the fire out in your room, okay Mad?.. hello? Madeline? are you still there?..." I trailed off and then looked at my phone and noticed that Madeline had already hung up while I was talking to Valencia. I gave an unamused look to Avalon and she laughed, "I guess we should have let them go sooner." She said. I chuckled to myself, "yea I guess you're right, well I think I'm going to get off too." She smiled and agreed.
We said bye and hung up. I plugged my phone in the charger and set it on my night stand. I sat back on my head board and looked around my room. I looked over to my window and I see the same girl from this morning, walk away down my street out into the distance until her glow around her made her seem as if she was nothing but a florescent light. I looked confused, what is up with my brain. I smacked my head and shook it back and forth. I sighed and laid my head on my pillow, "I think that's my sign to go to sleep." I said to myself as I drifted off into a deep sleep.
